You did a great job with this video!! Don’t be so hard on yourself! I have been binge watching your RUclips because I am looking at getting my PTA and it’s really helped. I currently have a Bachelor’s in exercise science and financially I’m worried about going to PT school which is why I’ve considered PTA and you have helped me with this really tough decision!
I dont mean to be off topic but does anyone know a method to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my login password. I appreciate any help you can give me
PTA apart a part of a dying profession, things are still bad for gpt's, but not as bad due to their versatility. Might want to consider going to school in the Philippines to save money, Tagalog not needed.
Great video! Super helpful. I too have been raised with the traditional mindset about careers.I liked what you said about combining a traditional and modern viewpoint with career choices. I currently have applied to a OTA program but now I'm starting to re-think OTA and lean towards PTA. Thanks so much for the videos, Antonio!
Thank you super helpful and no worries I understood your video mainly because I cannot multitask very well ether I prefer to focus on one thing at a time
Love it. Thank you so much for your insight. Definitely has helped me think about this in a new way. Glad you could find passion for both your PTA job and RUclips. Both provide value to people in different ways!
Hello! I love your videos :) I have been a PTA for about a year now and was curious what your opinions are of the nursing home environments vs outpatient
Do you know how much PTAs in texas make in real life ?? I’m constantly asking myself if I should be PTA or if I should be PT.. I’ve been working hard to apply to PTA school and am about to apply soon. Well I was. I have a bachelors degree so I need to get GREs and take some classes which will take me another year. (chemistry 1,2 physics 1,2 math, biology 1,2, Statistics) and PT school is 3 years but you make more money in long run and job security seems better than PTA especially with 2022 the 15% medicare reimbursement cut .. which is when I will be graduating and starting to look for jobs.. GREAT! 🙃 I used to think that being a PTA is good enough bc I really enjoy working with patients but am not really into all the paper works and responsibilities and it used to be pretty decent pay as well... but recently I saw that ppl saying new grads getting job offers for about $20 -$25 an hour. Luckily where I live (DFW area) it seems like there are still jobs for PTA but who knows what it would be like in 2 years when that 15% hits ... ughhhh it’s really hard to decide.... plus PT school tuition in my area for in state students are about 40k. So it’s not horrible like other area where it cost about 100k. I thought about being a PTA and see how it is and save some money and go back to PT school after few years but also heard that PT schools tend to not accept PTA students. I don’t know how that works but that’s what I heard so that scares me as well. Because the bridge program in texas costs $$$$ and I don’t want more debt on top of me and my husband’s student loan we already have ughh. Meanwhile PTA tuition is about $9000 total. So... idk man
Depends on where in Tx. I am a PTA in Odessa, Tx and I make $65k a year. And also depends on what setting. If you want to make money, do travel therapy but travel PTA nowadays are getting lower because of the changes but still good. I don’t recommend Home Health because of lack of learning.
Gray Falcon hey thanks for a comment! I appreciate it! May I ask you what you do and how long you’ve been working as a PTA if you don’t mind? Thank you!

Hello! Loved ur vedio and it's very useful also . Please give some information on PTA for international students also I'm from India and I'm looking forward to become a PTA as I come to know much about it from ur vedios but also want your help to get proper guidance as I am a international students plz make this fast
Do you feel like pt techs have more prolonged interaction with the patients than the therapists do? That’s the part I enjoy most about it and wouldn’t want to loose that if I chose to go PTA or DPT
I would say out of the three of them PTAs have the most interactions with patients. But it kind of depends on the clinic you work at because it can change who sees the patient the most.
How can somebody that only has a GED and no other prior schooling other than personal training experience get started on becoming a pta I am 36 and always had the passion , but not sure where to start because I feel like it’s too late, thanks in advance love the channel dude!

Anyone know roughly how much pta make in Southern California? I’m not too concerned of not moving up if I’m making a decent living , I don’t really care about making lots of money , just enough to pay for a house 🏡 lol
My PTA colleagues and other therapists agree that this is the worst time to work in therapy throughout their whole careers. We are seeing 50% more patients for less pay unless the ability. You've been warned
