Dude I keep coming back to this video just to hear the sound test. I was close to buying and modding my own keyboard but the boog75 had everything I wanted. (sound, layout, premium feeling) I can't wait for it to come home
you can buy the original zoom75 base kit and buy the boog75 module only but it doesn't come with caps. the case is interchangeable, so you have many colors to choose from but also would end up costing more.
I noticed that they bottom out sooner when i first put them in but it doesn't affect my gameplay. I play CS2 and use them high sensitivity on my movement keys so the bottom out doesn't really make a difference since it's reacting and activating rapid trigger before i bottom out. @@tinypickle
I just watched Optimum's video covering Endgame gear's clone, he said the latency was worse, do you think the wooting is better than this one you reviewed?
Even if the wooting is better, it’s not better enough. The quality of this one is miles better. You can’t go wrong with the wooting though, it’s your choice

@@Jaeky IDK if you've tried the drunkdeer a75 HE, but it is a good $100 cheaper than the boog and wooting while still being a HE keeb. Wonder if that is worth it just for the value.
@@I3asyl I've heard good things but this is a significantly nicer board in most regards. The features are a good bang for your buck, but its a plastic bottom mount case instead of an anodized cnc gasket mount system. Its performance will be good but don't expect it to sound much like this at all.
How is the height on the boog75? It seems like it would be too tall and uncomfortable after long hours. Is the front height w/ keycaps taller than the wooting?
Well, if you want the rapid trigger feature you'll have to look at hall effect keyboards. You can go for the Wooting osu! Keypad: wooting.io/uwu if you don't need an entire keyboard and want to save some money. I would always recommend just going for an actual Wooting keyboard but some alternatives you can look at is the Drunkdeer HE keyboard: drunkdeer.com/ I've heard good things about it but I haven't personally tried it.
Same exact Beta software as the Polar65. The only thing that works on that software is the lighting effects. Can't get actuation or rapid trigger to work at all through the software
thanks for the review! I just started looking into this topic and this is maybe a stupid question but is this hot swappable? it would also be great if you would do a deep dive into modding this Keyboard / showing how its build stock
Hot swappable although you'd be hardpressed to find a lot of replacement options, there aren't that many HE switches, and even what we have aren't all compatible with each other. Give the market a year or so probably.
Currently waiting on my zoom75 to ship but already eyeing this as an upgrade. I think I'd rather have a seperate gaming keyboard though and I'd hate to buy a full new zoom75 kit just to replace it with the boog pcb. Hoping they come out with some better cases and I might buy this in the future.
If you're looking for flex, an HE board is not a good idea. iirc HE/magnetic switch boards are more sensitive and flex would cause issues with these boards.
It's hard to tell, but it seems like when you compare feathering on the Wooting to the BOOG, you are barely tapping on the Wooting keys vs. the BOOG. You mentioned you have the same settings on both, so I'm curious as to if the BOOG does feel a little less responsive in that manner.
According to people on r/mk there is no noticalbe difference in responsivnes between these boards. Switches on the other hand are less scratchy and lubed better in boog75 aparently.
@iSkwerl I noticed that too, these Reviewers don’t have the Equipment to compare the Rapid Trigger Latency. Like the Endgame KB65HE seemed to feel like “There is no noticeable difference”, then when optimum or boardzy finally reviewed it, it was shockingly almost 3x Slower than the Wooting.
@@kubul3334 can you link to the post comparing the responsiveness between the 2? I don't want to buy this only to find it inferior to the wooting in performance

I've just received my Boog75 - a dream came true! It literally has everything I could've ever asked from a keyboard. 11/10 I'm a Meletrix fan now :)
Do you prefer the boog75 or the wooting60?
I wish the black case didn’t have those teal designs on the front and side. I think it would be perfect if it was all black
you can buy the original zoom75 base kit and buy the boog75 module only but it doesn't come with caps. the case is interchangeable, so you have many colors to choose from but also would end up costing more.
Meletrix usually makes custom, colorful keyboards. All black just isn’t their style
You could buy the zoom75 with the he module, but you would end up spending a lot more for that config.
Black/white prebuilt Zoom75 HE just dropped, as well as the case only kit for a few colours.
There is a full black and full white pre built edition. Plain black case and WoB keycaps and the opposite.
Meletrix sounds good stock. Interesting keyboard.
Are you going to be replacing your wooting with the boog75?
Nah, I prefer the 60% layout now. Plus all the modding that I did to the Wooting makes me appreciate it more as my own kb.
I just changed the lekker switches for gateron jades and it's a huge improvement in sound. I highly recommend.@@Jaeky
