An idea could be to polish half the ball, and sand the other half way down to 500 (or even lower). Could even be progressed to sanding 4 quadrants of the ball all to a different surface. Polish, 2000, 1000, 500 or something like that.
@@shorty808100 right. Sanding really only matters over the track area. It will be more than a game or two before it goes back up but this ball is best shiny anyway
2 Ideas for videos: 1. Corner pin high game against another house member/WSU Bowler -> Get TJ Rock or Mitch, where the goal is to hit the corner pins w/o hitting the 2/3 first and play for high count, bouncing as much as possible out of the back 2. This may be difficult, but: modifying/sanding a ball to the point its visibly eliptical and not so much a sphere. Then see how it goes down lane and through the pins.

I have a Venom Shock and a Widow Ghost. The problem I run into right now is Leagues start in a couple weeks so for now I have to bowl on whatever dry to scorched conditions the lanes have, they don't oil for open play. The Shock I can do pretty good with. Low to high 180s. The Widow just grabs too hard and misses the pocket. I wanna see how it does but I have to wait. Damn it. For now I'm using my old Columbia 300 Scout from the mid nineties as a spare ball. I know if I get into tournaments I might have to actually buy a spare ball. Doubt they'd let me use it.
@@TheHouseBowling Oh, it's effective. I like it because it's pre core tech so even on dry conditions I can pick up the right side with ease. Didn't think a ball that old would be legal.
