A lot of my family use to give me a hard time because my son didn’t seem disabled… They thought I was just being overprotective, weird, and exaggerating all the time. But one Thanksgiving they got to experience what my Son was like when he isn’t doing well… My family is a big loud family like an Italian family or the Osborne family but we aren’t rich 😆 Anyways, this was the quietest family get together I’ve ever experienced in my 38 years! He was having clusters of multiple types of seizures and they saw why I was so overprotective and did anything I could to make sure he was constantly in a safe environment without anything nearby he could hit his head on if he fell hard. (Some seizures make you fall faster and harder than full force)…because of the mass amount of seizure activity his brain wasn’t able to catch up and they saw how he acts up and does stuff like a toddler sometimes when he’s like this too… My family has never given me any kind of grief or treated me like I’m a hypochondriac every since then! I do have a cousin who is weird and acts like my son is weird or can’t be around the other kids but she’s the one with the weird child and she’s the one that was a weird kid too so Idgaf what she thinks 😆
actually degrassi was on THE N! not teennick! 😅 degrassi high is a far cry from pacific coast academy!! anyways i love you tina you’re one of the greatest comedians around (smartest writing, best timing, as relatable to disabled people as non-disabled lol) and can’t wait til you get a special 😇
