Hardcore Mega Man fan and height comparitor coming through. Keep in mind that X is the only character, aside Rock and Duo, with a confirmed height; those being 5’3” and 5’5”, respectively. Take this list with a grain of salt, because height in the Mega Man series can be really, really janky, and that especially goes for the artwork, where characters fluctuate like they’re in superposition. The only thing you can really trust are the sprites, until someone comes out with something official. That all being said, one thing that’s very important to consider is how much the characters are crouching- especially Zero, who when standing up straight in the PSX games, gains over a head in height. In fact, if you take his standing sprite and put it next to Gate’s, Zero’s actually a tiny fraction taller. One other important thing to note is that Zero gains an increase in height once he’s upgraded (or, more accurately, completed) at the end of X2. Other observations: since the PSX games are the most consistent, those are generally the best for basing theory off of, but the SNES games can also offer some insight. In X1, Zero stands up totally straight, which makes him only probably around 5’8”, or 1.75 meters, next to X. While his sprite is always the same number of pixels tall as Vile’s, a lot of that height is in his helmet, and Vile is definitely way taller in X1, probably around 6’0”. By X3, however- the only other sprite-based game where Zero and Vile both make an appearance- Zero is obviously a lot larger. He has his signature crouch that he carries for the rest of the series, and again, is the same number of pixels tall. However, whereas Vile Mk.2 is just as tall, or maybe a fraction taller than the original, Zero, assuming the same rule applies, and if he stood up straight, he’d gain about a head in height, would be a good amount taller. In the opening of the game, you can see X standing next to Zero, and he already barely reaches his shoulders. Assuming they’re both crouching the same amount, that puts Zero around 6’6”, or 2.00 meters. All that being said, here’s a list I personally put together a few years back, after measuring all of the SNES characters side by side. X - 5’3” Zero 1 (X1) - 5’8” Vile (X1/X3) - 6’0” Zero 2 (X2 & on) - 6’6” Doctor Cain (X3) - 5’1” Mac (X3) - 5’8” Bit (X3) - 6’10” Dr. Doppler (3) - 7’2” Agile (X2) - 8’5” Sigma (X1) - 10’0”~ Some closing thoughts: I don’t take all of these measurements as exact fact. They’re just what I got from measuring the characters next to each other, using a height comparison site, and mathing out that a pixel was around 4 centimeters for the SNES games.

Amazing video!, I tryed to find a comparison of Megaman X size in RUclips, but nofthing, but thank you for this video!. However, you forget some characters in this comparison like signas,Douglas,alia,pallette, layer and a lots of characters in the series.
I wish they'd do something canon with the Command Mission characters. Massimo is awesome. EDIT: Also, don't know how accurate Illumina's height is. It's in the background, be we're not sure how far. It would be bigger if it was actually standing on the platform that X or Zero are standing on. Also, Illumina has an attack where it's head detaches from it's body, moves closer to the foreground and scans for X and Zero with a targeting laser to fire beams at them. The head get's bigger, so the body has to be enlarged to match the scale of the head. Also, when destroyed, Illumina's damaged head appears in the background of the arena where Infinity Majinion is fought, and it's head, while still in the background, is even larger still. So Illumina has to be closer in height than X2's Giant Mechaniloid.
Okay the scaling is definitely off with High Max when switching over to the comparison with the Shadow Devil. High Max was at 3.9 M, but at 4:30, is is under 3M.

I just did some quick and dirty calcs for anyone watching this video who's curious - I used screenshots from the final battle vs X5 final sigma, and Gamma Sigma's (Sigma from Megaman X5) head is approximately a little bit over 3 X's tall. If X stands at about 1.6 meters (this video has his height wrong lol) that means his head is somewhere around 4.8 to 5 meters tall give or take. We never see Gamma Sigma's full body, so we can only speculate how that scales - but if he retains a similar proportion to how his body in form 1 is presented in the artwork for X5, as well as the sprites, he should be about 10 to 11 times the height of his head - in other words, Gamma Sigma is probably around 48 to 55 meters tall, assuming he has a complete body. Which, uh, makes him a over twice the size of Redips.

This is why I prefer the classic series robot designs/art. They are charming and don't try to emulate Gundam-Wing/Dragon Ball Z. Most of these X robots look ridiculous.

He is bigger. If you look at the destroyed head of Illumina in the background of Mijinion's boss room, I would eyeball scale Illumina to be at least 2-3 times bigger, putting him at a lowball estimate of at least 20m.
I'm guessing that form was left out because there is not a lot of official artwork to give an estimated height. Also, that form doesn't seem to have a lower body.

Zero's height increased because of the upgrades in Mmx2. In 175cm to 178 cm. Then in mmx6 according to what he said (fix myself) which Dr. Light fixed him. His height increased 180 cm. So you telling you miss 5 cm? So what if I add 180 cm?
