Was at the preseason game vs the giants, and i’ll just say i have never seen a preseason game that packed and hyped. the wave went around the stadium a solid 5 times. i recommend any neutral NFL fan in michigan to go their playoff game if they have one at home. it’ll be awesome 😂
How many years have we suffered with incompetent front offices who couldnt find talent to save their lives? We were lucky to hit on the random star with endless high draft picks but it was a piss poor ratio of starting talent through the draft. Now its a whole different story. We have retained 90% of draftees since Holmes and not by default, but bc they play their way onto the roster and develop. Thats the most impressive thing when you consider that most teams have rookies that dont even make the roster often times. Yet we consistently find valuable free agents without breaking the bank AND hit on an obscene amount of draft picks. Its different than ANYTHING we have ever seen from a team building standpoint. Period. Not the SOL
💯 %FACTS
September 7th will tell us a lot about our Lions. KC is a great team and what better way to gauge where they are at. I honestly believe Detroit has a shot to win that game. Go Lions!
I'm drinking the same flavor kool-aid, got season tickets for the first time! Go Lions!
Fools fall for this hype about the Lyin's every single year, year in and year out before the season even starts. All-of-you have already played out the Lions season in your heads as if they already won it all but that's easy and fun to do when they actually haven't even played a game yet but their just another football team like the rest of them but you hardcore fans love to make them out be be a bunch of Supermen in order to fulfill some kind of fantasy that's in your heads.
If people let themselves get to emotional connected to their football team then it's that much harder to handle win they let you down just like a when a close family member hurts you and that's why all of you hardcore fans do this to yourselves every year: you love to play out this Grand illusion (if you will) before the season even starts only to lead yourselves into a big letdown when they don't live up to your expectations and the harder the hardcore fan is the quicker your on and off the bandwagon when the Lyin's win or lose just like the closer you are to something the more it hurts when they hurt you and the quicker you are to come calling when they please you just like a close friend. I think your Kool-Aid more likely has cyanide in it.
Lions gonna win the game and the NFL will officially be on notice
With Jones still not in KC camp and another D-lineman suspended.
2 other D-lineman are injured. The Lions are going to pound the ball on the ground and beat KC in the opening game.
This aged well
People will come and go, but you get the feeling Sheila Hamp, Brad Homes, and Dan Campbell got the Lions for the next decade or more. It's a good feeling, I think, that's just starting, but that also may end up with a big party or two in the streets of Detroit (sorry about jumpin to the storybook ending)

This is the BRAND NEW LIONS!!!!
sucks not having jamo for the first 6 weeks, but the squad still has a lot of weapons. all i know is the league better watch out, because the lions are hungry. 🦁
‼️
❤ 💯 Percent Agree... They ARE READY This SEASON...
Holmes and Campbell gonna be making some tough cuts with this much depth
For real tho
good problems to have. I'm just trying to maintain. 65 yrs old and I more than like what I see. Ms. Hamp hired the coach first and down poured the criticism from everywhere (talk radio) but she knew it was coming. I think she found her man in the coach and that is The relationship that is the basis for any success the Lions attain in the next several years. There is not one true Lions fan who does not see compelling evidence of a new brand of football in Detroit. If they win do not be surprised to see Lions jerseys across the US. Remember we were wearing them in the worst of times. Hell I have a Lions debit card and have been given free drinks in Duluth MN a few years back when they saw it. Those stinking Vikings have been a nightmare for me since the late 60's. They wear purple because they are famous for choking- that is the comeback I had for the barmaid two years after it happened. I hope she reads this. Teams are actually going to be watching the Lions cuts for once
Like your presentation. Next step is gaining more access and current video to accent your excellent commentary. I
'll sub up and see how you do. Looks like real fans here and I hope we all have a great season.@@WilUptonYT

Spread the GOOD VIBES!!! 🤟🤟
Novi gang here. The SOL died last year, this year is the start of a new era for this organization. The pieces are there, now the boys just need to make it happen on the field. Can’t wait!
7:01 Denzel Mims 6'9 207 lbs, I'd be scared that dude would get broken, I know you misspoke, but that's funny.
The floor for this team is 10 wins, anything less than that and the season would be a disappointment for me.
Lol 6’9”. TBH we could use a guy like that, we haven’t had a true “jump ball” WR since Golladay.
Mark my words, the “SOL” is no more! I believe they have finally turned the corner and now are true contenders. Goff is our guy for now but he has an offensive side that will pull him through. Lovin these Lions. 49 yr fan and still ride or die!
Whatta shit take show Goff some respect
I’m 43 and have been a fan since 1990. A year after Barry was drafted. I too am a ride or die sir! Here’s to a season for the ages my friend..🍻
Bro… you’re late to the party

Same here fam!
I'm also 43, moved here from Oklahoma in the fall of '89. Barry got me hooked lol. Been waiting for this to happen for sooooo long!!!
I think Detroit honestly has some of it's best seasons in franchise history in front of them.
NFC Champs and Super Bowl Brother! MCDC is the coach to do this and HOF is what he'll be by bringing the Lombardi Trophy to the Motor City
James Mitchell looked like a nice receiving option in the 1st preseason game. The Lions TE’s might be the most productive trio in the NFL.
All 3 could be TE1, if they weren't all on the same roster!
They had the most productive TE core in NFL after Hockenson left.

@@Gibbz17 we started winning after we traded hock
11 win team is my predictions… possibly 12 or 13 if they can stay healthy
I have drank the koolaid but they have a hell of a team. Long standing fan of 60 years here. I think they are going to win 14 and I put a Benjamin on it in Vegas.
Awesome!!
I would go bananas if this happened. I believe it could
Put your money where your mouth is. There still are real men out there, they just live, work, play, are from or just plain like the Southeast Michigan area and it's football team.
I too can afford a Benny to put up for some added excitement for the season. "Maintain maintain" is my mantra for the moment but man we are starving here for real

I love it! Cannot wait next week for the opener. #OnePride
I have been a lions fan since 88 so 35 years of heartache but we are coming baby lions allday
Right now Mims might not even make the roster…
Did he say Mims is 6'9?
I can't wait for that KC season opener. I think the Lions can get 12 or more wins this season. That defensive line was looking bulked against the Giants.
10-12 wins and the division is my prediction and also what I have been dreaming of 🙏🏽
As a Rams fan I wish we never got rid of him
“Ten hundred and twenty yards” lol bro got his degree from a tire repair shop
I'm a Bear's fan and I loved watching Hard Knocks last year, you can related to the human element of football and root for great guys. It seems changes are coming for you Detroit. I can relate to the frustrations that I read in the comments, I'm praying for new ownership in my lifetime. Have a good season, it looks like you have a lot to look forward to.
Thank You....Bears my second Team...But They Our LION'S are Coming For All !!!😊
Cota from Oregon tore it up in the first preseason game
As life long lions fan I am more optimistic this season than ever before. But as a life long fan I expect tragedy…
A playofff win would be nice GO LIONS!!!!
Hard not to expect a shoe to drop. Praying they stay healthy
This Lions fan is ready! Let the Detroit Lions Roar! 🦁🦁🦁
Only thing I'm disappointed in was letting go of jamaal Williams. I do believe Monty is an upgrade for sure.. Gibbs could be electric but jamaal had that locker room and sideline presence. That's irreplaceable.
Reynolds and Raymond are 3rd and 4th options and ARSB and Jamo just got hurt in practice. Let’s hope they’re ok
Wait a second. Northville native but you're a packers fan? 😮
I cant do a win/loss projection. Because I don't want them to lose a single game. So there, it is
After spending over 40 years as a Detroit fan (challenging ride) outside of all the draft picks and trades and signings... there is one simple reason the 2023-24 season will be different. That reason has nothing to do with the before mentions.. The organization has a "new attitude" which began last season around week 10 or 11. They expect to win. They will not quit in the 4th quarter, the fans (we) expect them to win. I've never felt this way about the Detroit Lions ever! Their "Attitudes" on the field, led by Goff and Dan Cambell off the field, suggest to me they will win 11+ games this year. In one of last year's games after a victory, Goff said to the team, "This (winning not quitting) feels different doesn't it?" It was at that moment I knew, "waiting till next year", was not a thing Lions fans would just say in passing. NFL, it is next year!!!!
I have you beat on the 40 years - but the other thing is - for the first time in my 58 yrs - the lions have a top flight talent evaluator!! that has never happened before - and makes a world of difference - we have 4th round picks quite possibly becoming all-pros . and contributors up and down the board . In the past lets face it - we would have one exceptional player - ala - Stafford , Sanders, CJ - and they were expected to carry the rest of a very mediocre roster - now we are developing a level of talent all over the field - if you consider the team they inherited 3 years ago - with all the burnt out patriots - (they were worse than an expansion team ) compare that to today and it is night and day in 2 years
Great video man. Keep up the good work
We're gonna be looking at a 12 win season this year.
Anything less than 11 wins is a failure. A playoff victory is also a must.
Nice job - more Lions and I’ll be watching
The chip on Goffs shoulders is more than Kirk Cousins could carry
As a Lions Fan, 10-7 is where I’m putting them. Sure they have the capability of more wins, but they have young players and the capability for a lower floor as a result. Good team, they will develop over time!
What up Northville!! Novi guy here😂🔥
Finally a second person not shutting down the Lions. Thank you Cheese head, lol.
Gotta support a Northville native, i grew up in south lyon!😂
Been a dark cloud over the lions for the entire franchise. So many wrong coaches and gms and people praying on our down fall every year and gets in the players head and coaches. But we might finally have something going just have to stay humble and hope
For the best but expect the worse
Suffering since ‘90 myself. I like what I’m seeing but I cannot get overly excited. Been duped many a season watching this franchise.
Know Weeks Away But THE LION'S and Ownership and Coaches are going to Keep Them To Play Like Winner's...For Them Selfs Too.❤❤❤ GO LION'S
Win total? Super Bowl. Mark it down. They have all of the weapons to win it all.
TJ Hocks contract was coming up and he ran wrong routes causing a pik 6 and a int. After he went to the Vikings Cousins INTs went up.
S'KODEN PRIDE!!! Long suffering but highly anticipating.
Going out on a ledge here -- 12 wins
As a Packer fan, you should be extra worried. The Lions are so deep, they're gonna have to let go of some damn good players...the BEARS will be right there to scoop them up!! If the player is worth a damn, they're staying in the NFC North, unless Holmes trades them.
Trading them means more draft picks for Holmes. Either way, it's a negative effect on GB...and MN!!
Played for northville colts I'm from novi great show
Sweet!
I am hoping for at least 12
13-4
Nice video - really well thought out. However it would be so much nicer to show b-roll of the guys you are discussing - even in their college days if you can't find anything else. You were talking about one guy for 3-4 minutes and I don't think I ever saw a clip of him the entire time. Anyhow, I'l a film grad and think you have some great knowledge, and unless I am just missing it, your videos would be much better if you showed the peeps your talking about. Any, if you really want to level-up show some of the stats and facts on the screen so it can sink in. You dropped a lot of crazy facts and stats and it was hard to fully grasp what you said, so some text would be super nice. Anyhow, keep up the great work!
If williams blows up they could be good. Goff if is underated in right system and with right players. I got him as my superflex so im part this ride now
I get scared when anybody talks about my Lions too much...its a jinx
@wiluptonYT keep your eye on Connor Galvin #76 LT from Baylor. He looked good in the first preseason game against the Giants. He was on the last drive where they scored the winning touchdown.
11-7 great video always appreciate the honest takes👍
14-3.
The proof is in the pudding as they say. They need to prove it on the field. So many seasons where they were predicted to perform well and it didnt go as planned.
Northville native baby
I think they can shake the NFL and win 13-14 games this year. Im leaning more towards 14 wins and no its not me drinking kool-aid, its me being realistic. The whole team is strong and im comfortable with the depth at every position.
Did you just say “10 hundred “?
Here's why people nock Goff.
Goff had his worst game in the Super Bowl, and that's what everyone remembers.
Lions take division with 12-5 record. Anything after that is just icing
Denzel mims: injured and cut
I can't be hurt again so I can't believe in the lions. We are always so close but so far.
If you’re scared, go to church.
Yeah ot would be something to get 12 or 13. Will have a tougher schedule
Nice review!
I wouldn’t be surprised if Detroit is picked to win the NFC North.
So you’re saying Goff was drafted #1 because he was good? That’s some bold expert analysis right there!
Oof, a day after this video...DC basically said Mims is "in the room" and Jamo gets another hamstring injury. Neither of these dudes will make the team next year. Not to mention Marvin is trending towards the bottom of the depth chart. Not hating, been a diehard since 0-16.
You have to realize the last "Championship" season we (Detroit) had was in 1957. If you think about it, the first Super bowl didn't happen for another 10 years after Detroit were GOOD. We've been a laughing stock for a long time and the fans have been through the ringer and back. We've heard it all and still stand here cheering.
That really puts it into perspective wow
I'm going 12-5 this year. No reason for them not to make the playoffs. All 4 Detroit teams are way overdue for playoff appearances and someone to win a title.
Hey brother what do you think if we can have a top 3 offense and a top 15 defense? I think we can win a playoff game.
Top Offense # 1
Top 5 defense
This is my bold ass prediction
@@oldwolf9949 you go bro. If it happens I want to shake your hand but by texting lol. You could be possibly right.

Denzel Mims is 6‘3“ not 6‘9“. Still get you a thumbs up.
Denzel Mims is 6'3 not 6'9 😂😂
11 win team
lions fans i am a vikings fan soooo uuu know rock it this year
Kansas city will be the measuring stick in game 1 of the season.
I say Drtroit passes the test and wins 11 times this year with a much improved defense leading the way!
Why would you end the video with a Dalvin Cook td?
I think 10 wins, then I have to remind myself it's the Lions, so 7?
Baker Mayfield was picked #1 overall, as well. Being #1 overall doesn't mean anything until you achieve. Goff has achieved.
Bro, when you gon do another browns video? I knooooowwww you see it
Probably in 30 days I got into some legal trouble with them lol

I'm going to say my Lions record this season will be 11-6
The only real problem I see with this season is Frank's toe
🐻 Bear Down ‼‼‼💪🏾
Mims likely won't make the squad. His lingering injury is preventing him from seeing the field, and the coaching staff can't get a good evaluation on him. In the meantime you have Jamo, Marvin Jones and Amon-Ra St. Brown as locks. Josh Reynolds and Khalif Raymond are likely to make the squad. If a sixth WR is kept, then the real battle is between Maurice Alexander, Chase Cota, Dylan Drummond and Antoine Green. Alexander MIGHT have a leg up because of return ability, unless a RB or CB steps up as a viable returner. I think Mims ends up getting waived, which will be fine because the Lions don't give up the pick they traded if he doesn't make the initial squad.
Kalif just signed a contract extension last week. No "likely" to it!! He's more of a lock than Marvin!
The top five is locked in imo.
Ra', Leif, Reynolds, Marvin, & Jamo tho he doesn't count until he comes back.
So there's two spots for everyone else. I would say Drummond & Cota have shown the most so far. But I think it'll be Mims & Drummond to start the year if healthy.

Mims is not making this roster as of right now
I don’t think the Lions are “underrated”. Most people have them as the 2nd or 3rd best team in the NFL and I’ve seen tons of NFL rankings thst have 6th or 7th in the entire NFL!?! 🤷♂️
Bro u said mims was 6'9 200 lbs??? 6'9???
12 wins let’s go lions
My prediction is 12-5 or 13-4 . They will go undefeated at home. Last time they did that they ended up in the nfc championship in 91
12 ceiling 9 Floor
No. Ceilings 15. Floor is 12.
@stopdroolin8418 I love the kool-aid too but this team still has a lot of growing to do. We do not know how Jordan Love will grow. We know the bears have improved. Let's not forget that Vikings did win 14 games last year. If everything was stagnant and then we focus on the lions improvement then I'd agree to that

12-5 🦁 🦁
