Incredible rookie season. He’s already one of the most versatile DBs in the game.
he’s a safety
@@doctorcrew2388yea that’s what he said
@@doctorcrew2388 hes a slot corner, he played most of his snaps at slot corner
@@phoenixfeathers132most slot corners are safety’s that can cover a lil better
@@doctorcrew2388safeties are DBs
That mouth piece on the helmet bout become very iconic
Yea can see that trend happening next year
It’s not
@@huluhulu3002 ok
An alien 👽
@@jadenperry1991hope not. That's only allowed for branch.. as long s he stay with the Lions
At least 3-4 games I sat back saying "Branch is everywhere today," So fucking impressive.
Brad holmes the goat picking guys like this
What an athlete. Incredible addition for my team. Hope he's here forever.
As a rookie it is hard to see any flaws in his game, he does so much so well. He tackles in space, he keeps his footing, and rarely gets run over by a ball carrier. It will be great to see him next year!!
Brian Branch had an incredible rookie season with 74 total tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and 3 interceptions this season at the safety position.
Droy for us
Defensive Player of the Year Award
He didn’t play safety
@@realngga0 he played slot doesn't really matter
and 13 PD
Should have been Def Rookie of the year
Obviously incredible, but is everyone realizing how insanely difficult it is for a rookie to start at the nickel?
Yea but he has a ton of experience from Alabama. Especially starting as a freshman. Very impressive
To the 31 other teams in the NFL that passed on Brian Branch, we fans from the Lions thank you sincerely for giving us a great player with a chip on his shoulder.
He is part of an amazing rookie class, Brian Branch, Jack Campbell, Jahmyr Gibbs and Sam LaPorta. I can't wait until the 2024 draft here in Detroit! He is already one of our best DB's and has the capacity to improve even more. #OnePride
He dominated that Atlanta game
Branch can ball and brings the wood a great player indeed.
He made so many incredible plays for the Lions in his rookie season but 7:54 is so impressive. He times it so perfectly without looking back. Lions 2023 draft will go down in history as one of the best in the league. The fab four: Gibbs, Campbell, Laporta and Branch all taken in succesion were huge contributors.
Good corners watch the eyes and hands when they are out of postiton!
Bro had a field day against Atlanta.
HOFer mark my words dude is the equivalent of a stud inside backer yet he's All everything Safety....Unicorn 🦄
He’s all pro next year
Minkah 2.0 I said it on draft night!! This team is so loaded 💙
Wow! He is the personification of GRIT! Such a good player!!
Branch hits you and you go down! Both him and Campbell are amazing tacklers!
He really excells in those lateral tracking plays. Look at how steady he is aligned with the player he's tracking. Branch was the best tackler in his draft class.
i love the mouth piece on his helmet
Makes it so easy to find him when the play starts watching highlights 🤣
Smart, playmaker you can tell he puts the film work in and physical work.. One of my favorite lions, great pick. Can't wait to see the process this season.
Go Lions!!
What a fucking dawg!!! Future gold jacket.
He has so much potential
robbed of DROY🙄
Man ppl don’t realize how good he played !
To have 10 minutes of highlights as a rookie is a feat all in it's self😂. Great video
Damn good rookie season.
Great draft! Great young players!

One-handed interception versus Saints was fantastic! What a Boss the Lions picked up in this man!!!
his year 2 leap gone be scary
Love it
Straight baller
You left out the play where he blasted Bijan Robinson in the backfield and knocked off his helmet. He owned him that game!
Should've been in the Pro Bowl
My guy 🦁💙🩶🤍💯
I’m so glad we’re going to be focusing on defense this year. Getting veteran guys that can help him reach his full potential
Best saftey we’ve had since Glover Quin.
Couldn't believe he was available when they selected him.
Awesome player.
Im hopeful Cooper Dejean will be our first round selection in this year's draft.
Would compliment Branch tremendously ⚡
He’s the Lions version of Kyle Hamilton and he’s pretty damn good at it too respect to the kid
tyrann mathieu better comparison
Compare sauce Gardners 2022/23 Defensive Rookie of the Year performance stats to Brian Branch in 2023/24. Branch's numbers are better across the board. Yet Branch wasn't even in the top 5 nominees this year. What a joke. BRANCH IS A STAR.
Branch wasn’t asked to cover #1 receivers. Even though he probably should have been over Sutton
@@markdouglas1601 branch plays nickel back and safety, not a cornerback.
@@markdouglas1601Branch is to valuable to stick at outside corner. He's probably the best run defending dB in the league
One of the signs of a really good cb1 is actually a lack of stats
Branch is the hero the Lions secondary needed
the crazy part is with way more consistent pressure from the line, and more consistent coverage by his secondary teammates, Qb's are going to have to take more gambles and he always seems to be in position. The thing that amazed me with this highlight is how many clean pocket throws he was able to break up. More opportunities to make those game changing turnover plays, or else the QB just takes the sack.
rare talent!
DAWG DAWG DAWG!!!!
He’s my favorite lions player
Dude can tackle too.
Ecclesiastes 3:7
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
If Branch can confirm he’s not going to change his number I’m grabbing the jersey
Buckshot Branch cause his skillset is so widespread and his hits will sit ya down 💯
My pick for 2024 DPOY
What instrumentals you be using on your videos
WE NEED A KYLE HAMILTON VIDEO
Shout-out to the packers doing the trade back when their biggest need was a db. Forever grateful
Best safety in the league
Didn’t even get a shot for droy cause of his injuries but to me it was between him and Ivan pace jr and Jalen Carter
Tom Grossi would be proud
Brian Branch The Disruptor
The Lions crushed the 2023 draft!
I don't care if we win the SB, the Conference, Division ect... We better win on Thanksgiving this year!
He's gonna take an even bigger step forward second season.. This is why I would get aggressive if I was Brad and as long as Marvin Harrison isn't taken with the first overall pick then I would give up multiple first round picks this year (the 29th pick value is at 640 points) with others to get to the value of the 3rd overall pick which is 2,200 value to draft the only thing that OC Ben Johnson is missing which is a 6"4 Marvin Harrison speed demon that wins 50/50 jump balls 9 of out 10 times.. Ben Johnson came back to win the SuperBowl, so why not reward him with his missing piece to push this offense past the Rams greatest show on turf 1999 SuperBowl team.. it's likely we can get a player like a DE Khalil Mack or Danielle Hunter or DT Chris Jones, Christian Wilkins and draft a CB like Mike Sainristil to take over at Nickle for we can move Branch to Safety to replace Gardner-Johnson.. This is all a fairy tale comment, but if it did happen, there's no way this Lions offense could be slowed down.. Let a lone contain them.. WR St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Marvin Harrison Jr., and TE Sam LaPorta, and the 2 headed monsters at RB's Gibbs, and Montgomery.. .
wb our outside corners, we needa fix that, not to mention our guards are coming into contract years so we needa resign them
Pretend that the Lions took Branch with the Campbell pick and Campbell with the Branch pick and it’s a pretty special draft.
How about I just appreciate how good this draft was just the way it was?
How he didn't win rookie of the year beats me
Am I wrong saying Branch was their best player on defense all year?
hutch is slightly better because what he did at the end of the year but its 1A 1b

The real droy
Imagine this guy on the packers 😂😂😂
Dude our team is loaded. Thats what happens when gms know how to draft
I don't speak Spanish but, Se Se exallenté par pa por!!!!
It's like he has an extra pair of eyes some times.
very annoyed when my raiders passed on him
I swear I copy that mouthpiece in the top of the helmet from him
Lookin like Baby Dawkins!!

WHAT ABOUT ROOKIE JORDAN ADDISON WITH THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Probably talking about him on a Vikings video

So did I miss something? Where is the Mahomes interception?
Yes you missed something, It's around the 30 second mark
@@JonAlienAbides Well it was so awesome, I wanted to see it multiple times.
dude. you realize that your videos are almost unlistenable if you have good speakers. I run a pair of nice studio monitors and to get the low end to a spot where it doesnt rattle the bones of my house requires me to turn down the volume to a point where i cant hear the commentary. Is it a music video or a highlight reel?
The first highlight should be from his first game, pick sixing Patty Mahomes... great tape otherwise.
Good video. Background music is loud and distracting.
He should have never been available in round 2
Can we please get him out of that number 32 next year
I fw him as 32 it's unique
32 is a good number
I’m no since I have his jersey in my closet
That pick is still disgusting
He really excells in those lateral tracking plays. Look at how steady he is aligned with the player he's tracking. Branch was the best tackler in his draft class.
