Revisiting My Childhood Home: A Nostalgic Walk Through Time After 60 Years

Join me as I revisit the area where I grew up, recreating the first time I visited our new home nearly 60 years ago. I try and recreate the walk with my Dad back in 1965 when he took me to visit our new home for the first time. On this early Sunday morning stroll, we wander around myr old neighborhood, reliving cherished memories along the way.
We'll explore the abandoned church of Mount St. Mary's, the still-active St. Saviour's, and the local Methodist chapel. We'll also hunt for lost and abandoned pubs, finding that the only one still open is the Hope Inn, the first pub we pass at the start of our walk.
It's a lovely summer morning, a little cool with sunshine and showers-perfect for a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Come walk with me and experience the sights and stories of my childhood.
