These are permanent 60/40 split shifting to 50/50 as needed. The lifeless steering can be improved greatly by disabling “straight line running” with vcds or odbeleven
This is a little monster these you dont here much about but their rite up their in terms of performance and have great gains in mapping power I see stage 3 takes them above 400 bere in mind most likely involves turbo upgrade..but what a little weapon to own...I like it
i get its fun to have a rapid car. but i think its gone a bit OTT now with super fast gear changes but its nice to see a manual for once as i much prefer a little less power and a manual gear box and just enjoy the raw driving experience.
Got a list as long as my arm at the minute with what car to buy next... S1 is on it along with gtc astra vxr, mk3 st focus, abarth 595, kia pro ceed gt, megane rs.
If you have the possibility to drive some time in the year with snow it is totally worth it, also with rain and damp tarmac. Not as fun as a Yaris gr but still very good But at least you need big brakes at front + clutch with a remap is mandatory
Jamie you’ve driven both cars, s1 or fk2 type r. They are the same price here in Sweden. I love me a CTR but living in a country where it snows and rains a lot… got me thinking I need a s1. But is it a “drivers” car
Hells bells how much is this car likely to cost in insurance for a twenty year old (two years no claims max)? Fast cars when I was 20 were Capri 2800 I's and Cavalier SRI's (less than half the power!)
Your Opinion is wrong, at these Times Audi dont have a AutoGearbox who fits with quattro in the S1 Btw thanks to Martin Winterkorn who the choose the 2.0l instead of the planed 1.4tfsi
Im 65, selling my RS4 and looking for a nippy city car, 4x4 manual, but after this chump said “young driver” the twentieth time i started to give up. Couldn’t see the car because he waves his tatooed hand in front of the camera while he talks. Thumbs down!

I've got one mapped by devil developments too. They are rapid little cars!
What mods are you running and what did you run power wise? Might get my s1 mapped by devil developments at some.point
@@arjunpatel5997 got an intake and double res delete along with a clutch. Stage 1 is pushing 327hp and 400ftlb
Shame the stock clutch is poor for stock power let alone stage 1 + mapping
What price do you think I should be expecting for a 2018 one?

I was in the same position ended up going for the s1. Stage 2 now and I don’t regret my choice

I’m 19, I own one, £1800 with 2 years no claims
I pay 512 and I'm 19
