Nothing beats the s5 or s50. That vacuum is such a joy to repair because everything is made to be easily replaced and repaired. But with newer models repairs are way harder
Congratulations!! Best video!! Tive um problema com meu sensor de penhasco (Cliff sensor). Fiz a compra de novos sensores pelo aliexpress e fiz a substituição seguindo seu vídeo! Excelente! Graças a você consegui arrumar meu robô.
Thanks, you saved my robot. It had a water damage after an unfortunate event and with this video I was able to clean the motherboard which got the battery running again.
Thank you so much for this video. this bot was slightly different than mine. only one area was different but because of your video i was able to take apart my s5 to solve an error 10 problem that kept saying to change the filter when it was brand new.
@@xjwalker Yes I solved it, the piece that was removed at 1:59 was blocked . once i cleaned that and put everything back. everything was fine. Best for luck to you. its a bit of a pain to remove everything but it's worth it.
I would love to see a video like this just for the wheels which is what I need to replace. It is very confusing what needs to come off exactly to get access to the wheels.
Thank you for this, I solved my S5’s “error 10 - Filter is clogged” problem by cleaning out the fan (1:59 in the video). Time consuming but take it slow and don’t lose any screws :)
XD
Im using this video to take apart and clean my S4 Max. It’s close enough that this video really helped. It seems most, if not all, of the steps up to wheel removal in the video are necessary.
i guess Im randomly asking but does anyone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost the password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Christopher Cristiano thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Many thanks for your video. I needed to open and clean after 1.5 years of use. I had a spider nest on the lidar , the robot was really weird these days. 😂😂
Thank you very much, I would never have been able to do it without this video. I hope for 1 million subscriptions. Can you teach me that? I wish you a nice day
It kind of just rests on the edges. It helped me to take the bigger piece and get that lined up with the robot wheels down, then slowly add the connector piece. It doesn’t actually screw into the robot!
Is there anyway you would know how the dustbin/mop sensor works? It see the bin but not the watertank, ive disassembled and verified if the sensor is in the corect position, but still not working.
If you remove the front bumper, pull the two silver tabs at the front out further to make the bumper stick out more and then put it back on. I had the same error and actually cut down the part of the bumper that the screws go in to make it fit better and now mine is working great!
hi, I want to ask a question about battery performance and life in general. I am using s5max. When will the battery lifetime start to decrease if we use it at least once a day and everyday in a week ?
It's battery chemistry that answers all questions about life cycle - since it's li-ion battery, generally speaking it gives 500 charge cycles before starting to deteriorate. Emphasis on ''generally speaking'' because life cycle of li-ion battery greatly varies on charging aspects (if battery gets fully discharged, fully charged, rate of current etc).
5:26 The screw legend. Absolutely necessary to keep track of all the types and number of screws from the device
Well if they paint them like in poco f1 that would be something :D

Amazing work! With this I managed to fix my roborock s5 that didn't detected the dust bin anymore! You rock!
Thank you for your content! Tried to remove the main wheel but could not find any manual for it. Well done! This video got linked on reddit.
thx
successfully replaced my wheel assembly using this, can't thank you enough
I take it you don't need to disassemble everything like in this video?
Maybe only access to main board and side bumpers off to remove and fit the silver bar for the wheel? Am I right?
Can you do a mini tutorial just for wheel replacement?
I would love to get that too!
I can not thank you enough for this video

like a miracle. whit u disasamble the machine, fix gear issue, clean m up then assamble all of them within 6 hours. MADE İT AT LAST😎

Hey, war es bei dir auch so, dass der Roboter nicht mehr geladen hat?
Mir ist nämlich wohl etwas Wasser ins Gehäuse gelangt, als ich den Roboter gereinigt habe

Hey mate, did you work out what was causing this?
Having similar issues and figured it must have something to do with the fans

Can you do a wheel removal tutorial

i have one of that and it has an cliff sensor problem,, i hope you can make a video on how to repair or fix that,,

@Christopher Cristiano it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy:D

@Kamden Abdullah you are welcome :)
best teardown. one of my charging contacts got corroded, need to replace them

Can you help me in showing only wall sensor replacement from close angle..do I still need to remove everything for it
Thank you very very much for this video!
What about the small motherboard part?
Thank you! Real lifesaver
Thanks for that perfect video bro
Thank you very much. This screw under the side brushes motor made me crazy. Why someone had such a stupid idea to hide a screw 😅
Where exactly does the bumper attach? I can't figure out how to reinstall it.
Same problem here. Any solutions?

Which are the sensors on the right and which are the sensors on the left? I have this doubt when buying spare parts.
Bufff!!! The BEST puzzle!!!

Just wanted to replace my fucking wheel, why can't they make it simple instead of locking with unremovable pin unless you disassemble everything
There's an unremovable pin preventing the upper housing from being detached. Does anyone know what to do with this?
Same 4 me 😅
Very helpful, but didn't prepare me for the amount of dust and hair that had penetrated every crevasse of my machine.
So many screws... Screw me!
What are you wearing on your wrist?
Wheel removal at 4:23
Excellent, thank you
İ cant install the front bumper assembly it should be loose but when i screw it it is so tight why give me a clue to do it correctly
I have the same problem... Did you find a solution?
@@ChrisRadloff Did you find a solution? Same problem overhere :(

500 cycles is full discharge. Going down to 50% does only 1/3 or 1/4 the wear.
So probably 3-5 years
How to fix a robotic vacuum cleaner Roborok 5 - which stops working after a few minutes.
Yine vida arttırdık 😂
Thank you so much!!!
