Dang the first 3 minutes was my same issue with Vengeful. She introduced a new character but did multiple POVs with Victor and Vale and they didn't have anything much to do with each other until the very end. I may have to pass considering it could be 4 years since the release for the sequel to be published. She just finished her standalone and she's now working on the 3rd Vicious novel.
