Running mine on 4s. Every time it would get a little air it would become a submersible. Lost 2 canopy covers never seen again. Last time it went under and lost reception at full throttle. Hit a pylon deep deep. Which then flooded it under water. Only way we found it was BC of the underwater poof about 20 yards away. What esc you running? Motor?prop? I'm on number 3 now. Love these cheap lil boats but they don't fly very well unbalanced.
Hahah I’ve lost 2 canopy covers too and literally sank it in a lake took 3 hours to find ! And all my electronics stayed perfect somehow and I’m running flycolor 150 amp 4074 rocket 2250kv motor and right now 440 prop but have a a 4219 coming !
I've eliminated losing the outer covers. I drilled a hole through both the inner and outer covers, epoxied a nut to the underside of the inner hatch and thread a nylon bolt through the outer hatch to the bolt on the inner one when I run it. Haven't lost a hatch since! There are pictures in the 'Racing Boats - Electric' thread on RC Groups.
Lots of epoxy and the top sits in a channel so it went back together pretty tightly ! Still really waterproof ran it 10 to 15 mins and only had a few drops inside! Just has an ugly crack across the top now :/ oh well at least it wasn’t a complete loss
I've seen some damaged boats before...but, have to admit, when it comes to plastic-hulled boats, that one is the worst I've seen. You could try to repair it, as it's part of the deck, and it's should hold.
good job, this video made me sub. keep em coming, from Alberta Canada
Holy Guacamole! But now it has "character". 🤪
MAN, THAT THING MOVES ! NICE ... 😮

Seems like watter was not so deep and looks to shallow hitting the land surface beneath water resulting in the breakage
That's unfortunate.. How did you fix it?

Are you kidding me?😅
Is the arrow 5 upgraded and runs faster than the stock? 😀
Yah it’s fully built even the motor mount has been replaced
I have a full video of the build on my page !!!
@@Budgetrcbuilds wow I see too mich power from it, unfortunately it bounced that makes it broke
@@Budgetrcbuilds thanks, my arrow 5 just arrived last week 😃
Roughly how much does one of these cost if you don’t mind me asking
The boat itself with the stock 3s set up is about 150$ wilts the new electronics motor and turns fins etc like 300-350
@@Budgetrcbuilds thanks bro. It reaches some incredible speed. I’ve a massive pond in Scotland so might give it a shot 👍🏼

Wow what setup are you running, not stock 🤣
That sucks
