The physical work is one thing but the mental side is another. It messes with you, thinking maybe you are damaging something or something is wrong. Then you remind yourself that it takes about 12 months for full recovery and everyone is different, and you just keep on moving forward. My surgeon said I won't damage anything doing what I'm doing and if I overdo it I will just cause myself more pain. It's not a race, and I'm taking time to train, ice, elevate, and going one step at a time.
