Then I see the videos with all shapes and sizes being backup or in the audience and it makes it even better! Although, I love the combined energy of Haley, Bria, and you the most. THEN I find out Haley is vegan!!??? I am vegan, so Haley will know what I am talking about when you find out someone is vegan....they skyrocket to supreme coolness ;0) I also love the vlog where you guys stuffed the hotel fridge full of vegan food. So just wanted to say thanks for all the hard work, I appreciate it. Wish me luck on losing weight and developing some rhythm!

Not to mention, I find the gym so boring that I can't seem to motivate myself to really workout the way I need to when I do find the time. Not only can I do this while my baby is sleeping, it is so much fun that I actually look forward to exercising.

I've researched how much weight gain is healthy and everything I've read says 20-40 pounds is healthy depending on your pre-pregnancy weight. I was slightly underweight pre-pregnancy. I've been maintaining the healthy diet and exercise regimen I had pre-prengnancy. I've also been watching my portion sizes and haven't been overeating. Got any tips on what I can do until I can talk to my OB about it at my next appointment?
Monstre Belle I had a lot of trouble gaining weight due to hyperemesis gravidarum. I still didn't end up gaining all of the weight that my OB/GYN and I would have liked, but thankfully my daughter was born healthy despite being a little underweight. I'm actually a nurse and, because of that, I can't really help you very much beyond telling you to talk to your doctor. I don't know you or your medical history and I've certainly never examined you. I wouldn't want to recommend a change to your diet or exercise routine that could potentially harm you or your baby. However, I would recommend talking to your OB/GYN about testing you for gestational diabetes sooner rather than waiting until your 24-28 weeks. Some of the weight you've gained may also be water weight. It's common for woman to retain water during pregnancy. Many people in general are getting more than the recommended daily value of sodium that is considered healthy, especially with processed foods. Decreasing your sodium sodium intake can help with it (don't take anything that acts as a diuretic without talking to your doctor, though). I wish I could help you more, but talking to your OB/GYN really is the best thing you can do. If you are seriously concerned, call their office and see if they can fit you in earlier than your next scheduled appointment. If they can't, you can still call and ask what you should do until your next appointment. It is also entirely possible that your weight gain is healthy for your body and pregnancy. Every woman is different. Easier said than done, but try not to stress about it too much until you talk to your doctor and find out if your weight gain is something you should be concerned about. Good luck!
