As for history, more and more elements of pop culture ignore Poland's participation in WW II and - in percentage terms- it suffered the greatest biological and material losses in this war, which is why I am hypersensitive to this type of issues and to the more and more frequent "whitewashing" of the Germans responsible for this tragedy, by using for example modern "war" or "historical movies"... They should made a movies about Dirlewanger unit which had done pacification of Warsaw in 1944...It was hell on the earth.. Best regards from Poland :)
