I’ve been on two Atlas Ocean Voyages ships. They are fantastic.

We really enjoy Atlas. Not perfect . . . but we're starting to think that they are perfect for us. Thanks for watching. BTW...if you haven't seen, we have our Antarctica cruise on the Navigator up. Full review is being edited right now. Thanks again!

@@janandtraceytravels Thanks. Look forward to watching it. I was on the World Voyager last January in the Antarctic. Amazing trip.

You can't get too small when it comes to maneuvering in ice floes and fjords! Plus you get to know everyone! I found the National Geographic Explorer to be the perfect fit...with a crew dedicated to sharing their knowledge of the Antarctic. BTW, I was on an Explorer trip that took on the passengers of the Atlas after an engine failure. They were ecstatic at the level of service and the fact that every adventure and outing was not financially "a la carte."

To us, it felt like a river ship. . .and we loved it (spoiler alert for our upcoming review)!

I will definitely check them out, but one of the big drawback is, they’re only two decks, one with deck chairs above you, and another with common areas below you. I hope those rooms are well insulated against noise. What I do like is that I’m not seeing crowds everywhere. That’s a real real drawback on mainline cruises. I’ve given up on Princess, celebrity,Hall Holland America and Royal Caribbean. They’re just too crowded. I choose cruises for the destinations, not the ship itself. This ship given the small room size might be OK for a seven night cruise, not sure I’d want to do a 14 night aboard a ship with so little personal space in the cabin.

Spoiler alert . . . we just got back from Antarctica on the World Navigator and once again loved the ship (videos to be edited and posted later). The rooms are small. That being said, the size didn't bother us--the lack of drawer space did. (The World Navigator surprised us by including plenty of shelf space in the closet). Our Antarctica cruise was 11 days and we didn't feel cramped at all. But your mileage may vary...
Crowds are certainly not something you will have on these ships. Capacity limits are 198 on non-Antarctica sailings (150 for Antarctica sailings).
We were on deck 6 below the pool for both of our sailings and had no issue with noise. However, both were rather cool sailings where people were not hanging out by the pool.
Thanks again for watching and commenting.

You didn't answer the question in your title.

For us, we thought it was a great size. But we thought we'd simply show the ship and let the audience decide for themselves. What did you think? Too small?

The diagram is a bit heavy and distract from watching the video it self. Maybe show first in each area and then take away?

We really appreciate such a well meaning and constructive comment. We agree. In our most recent ship tours we have begun to drop the diagram once we arrive at the next location. It’s not perfect yet, but we are trying to make each of our videos a bit better than the last. Your comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks !

I didn’t see any smoking lounge ? What about you smoking your cigar !!!

Ha! I (Jan) have given up my cigars (mostly). There isn’t a cigar lounge and smoking of any type is only allowed outside. Btw, we’ll be on the Atlas World Navigator in February for an Antarctica cruise. We’ll be sure to show where outside is is the smoking section.

There is a small 'smoking area' on the pool deck, port side forward. That's it.
On our Antarctic cruse, unless the ship is stopped, it was almost too cold to have a smoke.
And, having done two cruises with Atlas, on the World Navigator and the World Traveler - they are not too small, but very nice.
