- I originally made this since there wasn't an isolated video of this specific song. By mistake I had credited the wrong author due to a homonym between the genre of this song and a music ensemble, that word being "Istanpitta." However, a new video with this song under the author's channel has been created after this video was posted.
This song was performed by Early Music New York.
Visit their website: earlymusicny.org
And the official video: • Salterello (I)
To anybody watching this video, PLEASE subscribe. It's free and means a lot to me. I'm using this video to kick-start my youtube career, so if you want more content that may or may not be related to the Medieval era then subscribe.
If you want to share music, don't sharing for youtube career, only passion. Thank you for sharing. Love

As an American living in Seattle where you and I might live closer than the Italian origins of this song ... how is it that I relate with you on this point?

And apparently the song is monitized in your country and therefore I was given a copyright claim

Yon song slappeth harder than Will of Smyth didst to Christopher of Rocke.
You have way too much free time
Hi! Medievalist here 😊The ones who are playing are an association called Early Music New York, not the group Istanpitta. They're referring to ''Istanpitta'', a musical genre that became popular between nobility and royalty in the 13th and 14th centuries. The saltarello is its respective dance.
Here's the actual link to this version: ruclips.net/video/RtgYg3LBiz4/видео.html&pp=ygU-RWFybHkgTXVzaWMgTmV3IFlvcmssIEZyZWRlcmljayBSZW56IGFuZCBHbGVuIFZlbGV6IHNhbHRhcmVsbG8%3D
Thank you very much. I did not know this information. I will change the title accordingly.
