  • Judy gives us a tour of our garden progress today. Hint: It's doing pretty good for the desert. Talk about our 100 sub give away. Camera overheating in the 95 degree sun. Lots of fun.

Thank you. She works really hard at it. It helps that we're retired now. The baskets have saved countless plants from rabbits and mice. The pallet fence keeps the cows out. Eventually we plan to Cobb them so it will look like an adobe fence. That will also help with rabbits. There are 38 pallets on that garden. Basically 1 every 4 feet. T posts hold them up about every third one, but more t posts is better. The lower garden gets a couple per pallet because that is where the gates will be. 😊

Thank you! So many gardens fail here in the desert. Judy is in it every day watching for needs. The biggest that is probably lack of sufficient water. The hot dry air just pulls the moisture out, just like it does to our bodies. It is wonderful to hear from you!

Nice garden....... Obviously takes alot of work, especially here in northeast Arizona. We could actually be area neighbors. I wish the monsoon season would be more productive...... Water collection here is a challenge,at best....
    Love your place😎👍👍
