  • It's a leader's responsibility to create an environment in which their team feels psychologically safe. In other words, they're willing to admit that they're struggling or made a mistake because they know someone will be there to support them.

Yes absolutely agree with you Simon ❤️. It's the leader who encourages, foster and create this safe place for employees to admit issues, concerns and have the courage to show their vulnerable self. You are remarkable Simon Sinek.

Admitting mistakes is always a decision that lowers your reputation. A team should always be able to work interoperable, meaning that one is allowed to trust and discretion in someone who is not responsible for success. That those who are admitted to are trustworthy enough to not make the responsible of the fault is known to all others. Instead the mistake should be handled like a whistleblower is handled like. Anonymously protected. But you need two parts and a mathematical concept to define the topic.

I once said to my boss,” I don’t understand this.” ”You’ve spent so many hours on it, and yet you don't understand? It's frustrating,” She retorted. Since then I feel better when I say nothing 🤣

I am trying to find out the name of the artist who created the floral painting in the background as well. I have been researching artists and it maybe a piece created by Thomas Darnell, Diana Watson or Marcella Kaspar.

Hello Simon, you´ve inspired me so much, thank you! If you´re a leader, how do you inspire trust so that they can come up to you if they´re afraid, and at the same time inspire them to be confident both in themselves and in the team to keep trying when facing a problem and getting it done?

You might feel safe to talk about mistakes or challenge things you don't understand or disagree with, but what about psychological health. It is a huge miss to only talk about the safety part. What if an employee feels safe to talk about things that are not working for them or a struggle they are having, but talking to the leader doesn't change anything about what they are struggling with at work. The struggle persists despite psych safety, that means that there is not psych health. We need to stop talking about only half of this equation.

☝Ways to get fired by Simon Sinek,
Just say the following sentences confidently to your boss or co-workers without any fear of humiliation or retribution.
☝Raise your hand and say I made a mistake, I'm scared, I don't know what I'm doing, I need help, Oh and I'm also struggling at home and that's effecting my work... Try these if they don't work come back next week same channel... lol...
Simon are you usually high while making these videos or what?

I'm sorry you've either only had shitty bosses, or you're a shitty boss.
Yes, a good work environment does work this way. My work environment is like this and it's amazing. We are leaps and bounds ahead of our other groups thanks to this model.

Ways to misunderstand the material totally and completely, by Naughty Pleasure (unbelievably cringey name, btw):
Quote the already relayed material with absolutely no differences of opinion, no posit towards how it could be done differently and finally (and most importantly) declare that you're a simple minded fool by laughing at it.
