I love the bike and the mods you have done, it looks great!!! My wife wants to get into riding with me now so she is buying me a 2020 z 900 tomorrow morning so we can experience it together. I had a gsxr 600 and I sold it when we got married and she knows how passionate I am about riding and decided to get me another one. I’m stoked that the reviews don’t lie!!! I can’t wait to take a ride tomorrow. It’s been a year since I’ve owned a bike and I’m ready to hit the road again!!!!!
same here I didn't test ride it before I bought it Last year I bought this beauty in September last year so I own it little more than a year now. I got Full Exhaust system with Dyno jet power commander, fender eliminator and Led headlight bulb and thats it lol And I just love it the way it rides looks and amaze me every time
Chuck Diego i got mine on saturday. Im 5'9 but i have short legs. No worries getting on or off, altho i wish the fake pillion seat was an inch lower. Gotta say had a run down the freeway yesterday and at 110kph i didnt find the wind blast at all annoying (altho i came off an xvs1300 so that might have something to do with it) So far i love it.
Great mods .. I agree with the hight of the tail .. at first I would almost every time kick the tail .. then I found out a way to work around the tall tail .. when you stand on the left side ready to mount the bike, grab the handlebar with both hands .. put your left knee on the seat and as you rotate your body over the bike you will lift your foot over the tail and get on the bike .. no hitting the tail :) ...
Cool video! I just got my 19 z900 and i love it! One thing i do to mount the bike is i do it like mounting a horse! Hahaha! Left leg on peg and climb on! Hahaha! Makes it easier to clear the tail
Here's a FREE mod that improves the look (IMO) and simplifies the bike....Remove the heal guards and all the rubber grommets and sleeves and nuts and bolts. What you're left with are black painted cast heel guards. There are no vibrations there. I have no idea why Kawi have made such a complicated heel guard? 🍻
how much do you weigh? That's an insane amount of preload. Im 180lb and on my z900 the preload was set just right at 35mm at stock, that's 2 threads showing. You have it at like 10 threads. Even riding 2 up i just crank it up to 4-5 threads and it's perfect.
eliassami5 200 lbs and from the factory the bike would squat a couple inches just tipping it off the side stand with nothing on it. Given its budget spec I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s quite a bit of variance in the builds.
The HELL happened to your mountain bike????? I just got mine Saturday. Off an xvs1300a. Nice to have some roll on acceleration. Nice to have beautiful crisp linear throttle response. The engine is a beast. But soo smooth and easy to live with. Im slightly in love. It has put the grin on my face i used to have in the 80s-90s riding gsxrs and rgvs. Freaking ferocious but doesnt feel like it wants to kill you.
The Mongoose actually its my road bike and let’s just say me and that bike vs a moron in an F350 isn’t gonna end well. Just imagine being t-boned and dragged under the truck for a bit. I’m what you call a miracle.
Jimmy Theshark really happy with it. Once the suspension is tweaked and the shift and brake lever are adjusted it’s phenomenal. I almost “upgraded” to the Tuono V4 1100 or the MT-10 but decided to stick with this bike. While some of the rider aids would be nice nothing beats this bike for the price point and how extremely well rounded it is. She’s a damn blast, low maintenance, great mileage, more than enough power for the street (and track), and while I wish it had traction control having all analog comes with far less headaches vs the digital gremlins that can pop up.
Hey I’m thinking of upgrading to this bike from my 2019 ninja 650 .. I like doing day trips on the highway .. you think it would be less uncomfortable compared to my ninja ?
kiwi2631 no I’m saying my ninja 650 is very comfortable on the highway regarding the fairings and the windshield but the vibration in the lower gears in the higher RPM”s is just to much for me , what I mean by uncomfortable is the lack of wind cover on the 900 as I like to do the occasional highway run
Mr710324 gotcha. I actually prefer the Z900 on hotter days for the breeze. The wind really isn’t an issue at speed with the exception of some helmet buffeting but that will vary with a persons height. There are taller windscreens but I think they are ugly as all get out.
i had to replace the cases on a friends bike one time the cases were 70 for one if you ever break one why not replace it and just save your money on the case covers?
john ping The covers not only help prevent the cases from getting scratched or cracked but keep you riding. Crack a case and you aren’t going anywhere. Get some track time in and look around at the dedicated track bikes and you’ll see how valuable the covers are.

What LED Headlight bulb did you use?
@@iamNumber5five Putco motorcycle led bulbs bought it on amazon
Love my 2019 Z900. 5,3” no problem mounting the bike. Or taller women for that matter😂 thanks for the review!

Excellent vid. Thanks for the effort.
Great mods
Great video / love the throttle lock 🔒
Thumbs up 👍

I'm never getting a Ducati ever again I love this 🏍
Looks fantastic. Keep going. 👍👍
Great vid! Would be nice to list the add-ons in the description. Cheers!

Great video fella, first person to say about it being great for shorter riders but then carnt get ya leg over 👍

How tight do you recommend tightening the rear suspension? Great vid!
What did you use to eliminate the fender?
What tyre's recommend?
Mu Superduke has cruisecontrol.... never used it tho. Don't see why you'd need it on a bike.
It’s only there for longer rides on the highway to give the throttle hand a break for a few.
@@kiwi2631 yeah I know why they put it there. I just never had a urge to use it. Even on highway trips.

The Jean Claude Van Damme reference!! Lmaaaaooo!!! 👍👍👍
What kind of oil are you running in it and what was the fender eliminator kit? Thanks. Beautiful bike!
gosoku2 T-Rex Racing fender eliminator and right now Maxima full synth.
Great bike and video! I’m thinking of trading in my BMW F800R in for it. How you enjoying it?

Mr710324 To clarify, are you saying your 650 is uncomfortable and you want something that isn’t as bad?
kiwi2631 no I’m saying my ninja 650 is very comfortable on the highway regarding the fairings and the windshield but the vibration in the lower gears in the higher RPM”s is just to much for me , what I mean by uncomfortable is the lack of wind cover on the 900 as I like to do the occasional highway run

Does this bike go faster than 135mph?
This bike will run about 160/165 TOPs. 145 in 4th just past a quarter mile. I geared mine up with sprockets on both ends, pulls fine.
Links for. Mod man
How's the vibration at 8k rpms?
Raven007 ‘tis a little buzzy. I’m sure you’d feel it even more with after market rearsets without the weighted rubber padded stock ones.
5 min mods in a 10min video
More like each mod only takes about 5min at most. I didn’t think it would be that confusing.
I’m a black belt in taekwondo 🥋 I have no problem clearing my Z900 lol
