I haven't really had creasing issues with these. My jordans definitely crease more. I do think creases are character and give the shoe personality. However if you're looking for that pristine look then the diadoras will hold up better. Lol even thought they come with a worn aesthetic already.
Depends on your feet strength. I was fine using these everyday, but I wear a lot of AJ1s and barefoot shoes for working out. Might be different if you're more used to super cushioned shoes with soft foam or bouncy air units.
@@UtmostCoin Ohh. Maybe I had a foot fatigue after standing on my Air Max Pulse haha (Gonna replace it after it gets worn after several months). As for the sizing, I have size EU 40.5 (25.4 cm length) but I have wide feet (11cm width). Are they true to size or should I half size up?
@@UtmostCoin Alright, good to know. Looks like I'm gonna take the aquamarine colorway for my kidcore casuals haha. Would've been great if there's a video on how to loose lace the Mi Basket like Jordan 1.
The Mi Baskets were purchased off Diadora.com. I dont think these versions in the video are the "Made in Italy" versions. I do not have those versions so I can't tell you the difference outside of the italy versions being higher price, added use of pig leather details, more use of raw edge aesthetics and an added wax treatment on top of their standard stone wash treatment.
I just purchased the nugget colorway a few hours ago for $160 and went a half size up, definitely interesting to hear your thoughts on the shoes. It's my fav colorway by far so I think I'd be ok with the supposed stiffness and lack of comfort
Getting for cheaper def helps... I didnt like my nugget as much, but if I gave it a proper wear I'd imagine theyd soften up. Just when I had to make a decision and I was never intending to keep all pairs, the other colorways were just more comfy out the box... I uploaded my second video on the diadoras with walking around impressions.... They def got better thru walking with them over the last month as my main sneaker. Let me know how the insole is.. mine was super flat compared to the other colorways... I'd be interested to see if each shoe is different or if the nugget just has that less molded insole for some reason. Worst case it should be easy enough to add better insole in it if it doesn't meet your needs. I'm sure you'll love em tho
@@UtmostCoin Just got mine and wore them out for 30min or so, they're fine in terms of comfort. The insole is like what you show in your video: thin and flat. However, I'm not picky when it comes to the comfort of my sneakers - my feet rarely feel uncomfortable in sneakers. Going up half a size seemed like a good choice for me because it left enough comfortable wiggle room. The main thing I care about is the look, and this nugget colorway looks amazing to me - perhaps they're my favorite looking sneakers, and they'll likely look even better with age.
@@UtmostCoin Thank you! I have a question: if you look closely at the toebox area of any of your two colorways, do you notice anything similar to midsole separation? My pair doesn't really have midsole separation, but it looks like there are some very small gaps between the leather and midsole around the mudguard...I know it's pretty common on nike dunks but it is no big deal
Nahh neither of mine have those gaps. .. you could exchange your pair as you should be within the 14 day return policy.. otherwise there's some good dunk remedies on yt.
For a while there I was using a voightlander Prime so I could test it. This video I was using a Sigma Zoom with a black mist filter which tends to be my main lens for video and when I need autofocus.
Great video, definitely deserves more love, much like Diadoras in general.
Thank you so much for the view! I definitely need to get new pair of diadoras soon
maan those green ones were on sale for so long and i didn't get it even though it was so cheap, still regret not buying it now that my size is gone
Hi man thanks for the video! How much does it crease compared to Jordans?

@@UtmostCoin thanks for the reply man!
Always! Happy to help :)
Are they usable for all day wear or do we have to use Dr. Scholl's inserts?

I have a relatively wide foot and these were true to size for me in my US size.

Lemme see what I can do. I got a busy couple weeks for video edito but ill see if I can do something
most of the heritage pairs dont get restocked or retroed because they are actually hand made. great review
Glad you liked it! I don't do shoe/ clothing reviews a lot but it's good to know that the videos resonate well when I do post :)
Are all Mi basket's made in Portugal?
I believe the base models are, however they have italia versions as well which are made in Italy. That version comes at a higher price point
@@UtmostCoin thank you thank you 🙏
Always 🫰
good vid👍
Elated ya liked it!
Do u have any made in Italy and is there a difference?

Maybe I missed it in the video but are these true to size?
I'm a 10.5 in Nike and an 11 in Adidas. I am a 10.5 in these Diadoras
I clearly need to up my sneaker game!!!
Btw, did you change your camera lens? Don't know but your vid looks slightly different.

Diadora mi basket molto migliore delle jordan 1. ❤
The leather and materials are definitely nicer and works better for wider feet🙌
In SA the Diadora saw them for R900 that’s dead cheap
Wooo dang thats so cheap. That be an easy cop for me.
@@UtmostCoin Thinking of coping 4 pairs before someone gets them
At that price.. that's legit.. if youre looking for low top versions they have a row cut model as well.. same styling and distress but in a low
Jazz hands
Haha yup that how I talk 🦜
