The cable is the shining star here for sure. Nebulas are solid intro level, but the cable can be used with higher end iems

In the video I was using the Smith optics vantage and maze helmets. Most Smith helmets come with audio pockets. Can't say for other helmets but it's more common than not on new helmets

​@@UtmostCoin kramer mod is just drilling some holes on the black plastic piece. It increases the bass. cable mod is mmcx mod, which lets you use better and detachable cables for it. im not gonna do that mod until mine dies.

They're definitely not my favorite. I love the mic and connectivity, but they're pretty heavy and the sound doesn't wow me after listening to others.

It's so bad. The Outdoormasters are definitely better and often go 2 for 1 on amazon, but even those aren't amazing and still have dated charging standards (The amount of times i've forgotten to pack the micro USB and had no tunes). I feel like the Chips ultra 2.0 from Outdoor tech is the best bet right now for the sole fact that they're true wireless and actually use a USB-C, but they're so ridiculously expensive its hard for me to justify. I have a snowboard trip in Feb. Maybe I can pick them up for a trial for both our sakes (hard to imagine me not returning them at that price though).

Sorry my friend - Slowly getting back up to speed. I have some things on my docket to wrap up the year, but I can see if I can look at the Pi8s. Lol you picked an expensive guy, but I am in the market for a new pair of ANC headphones for my trip to Japan in April so I can test em out in preparation. Be forewarned though, I haven't been a fan of the weight or sound signature of Bowers & Wilkins in the past, so it may not be too hot if they haven't made major strides over the Pi7s

ooh thats tough, yeah they're gonna be a difficult fit with that. However if you like the drivers you can use the KPH40 or Portapro headbands with them as well.

For vacations, when I dont have a laptop on me, it really didn't bother me because the top is so flat i never had issues with things falling off. However, when using it for business and I have a backpack, i did see how i could be missing that. To remedy that, I bought a cincha travel belt for those instances: www.cinchatravel.com/products/wide-handle-travel-belt-jet but to be honest, I've only used it once or twice.

Interesting! I could see how that would create more friction to stick. Luckily after cleaning my chair, the rubbery grip does seem to work better now.

TBH, they're my go to earbud for the gym. I haven't had any issues with glitching or performance degredation when sweating in the sun on the field or indoors in the gym. Definitely wouldn't use it in the rain, but sweat hasn't been a problem for me yet. They have the best fit of all my earbuds and I can do back extensions, decline stuff and cable ab work out without them slipping out.

I wish I still had this to test - I gave it away as a gift. The App is trash now?

In my tests connectivity range and sound quality werent as good as the Bluetooth..granted I live in a brick apartment it might have affected things. I put samples in the full review for people to get a sense of how my unit is performing on mics and audio.

I think they're a great option especially if you're new to wired headphones and On-ear works for you. They are probably the most popular Koss headphones because they're super easy to transport, comfortable and have a nice boom.

50 Hours Yoruichi san! How many hours a day you on the earbuds?!

@@UtmostCoin they claim 50 hours total but it's complete BS with a lot of earbuds. I use them A LOT everyday but even if you didn't, the way the buds always take charge from the case no matter how little you use it will drain the case far faster than a total use time of 50 Hours. That's why I said if you're getting 5 days you must only be using them a total of 2 hours a day or smth and on top of that only once or twice out of the case. Or maybe I got a defect?? But for me I charge the case at least every 3 days

I address this in my comments video, but I was using them for work calls and just listening for music at work/ commute and gym. So I was using them at least 6 hours a day depending on how heavy my meetings were. That's not great your unit was getting significantly different performance than mine. That might say something about their QC.

@UtmostCoin it isn't a QC issue, Anker always has rlly right QC even with their soundcore brand. Even then though I'm talking in general earbuds cases with the nature of how they work, you will almost never get the full rated total use. This is because no matter how little battery you used in the prior session, the moment you put it back in, its constantly trying to get back to full battery. It's like having a campfire and spare kindling but you keep throwing in more kindling before the fire has even eaten through the rest, the fire won't last as long as it could.

I did my best to respond in my video coming out tomorrow. TL;DR it could work but needs tweaking on the fit and sound capabilities.

Not on board on the camera but you can configure those settings in your computer to use the a different mic (most conferencing and editing software allows you to do that in settings)

Yes if you need something specifically for work (ie comfort, no ear fatigue, better mic sound). However some people may find the price a bit steep when comparing to earbuds that have a more versatile use case for both work and outside of work. Just depends if you are looking for a one for all or not.

Absolutely...I've taken this on small hoppers where "first class" has smaller overhead space and it fits fine... Can definitely fit under the seat too as long as your don't have a ton of hard items in it.

Definitely not normal....I havent heard of that happen. But also the app is at a much further number at 1.3.2. do you have an update available?

I've only had em 4 months, but they are still working fine. I actually gave them to a friend who's Air Pods crapped out on him. I never really had any issues, there were just times I wished I had ANC and transparency modes available. Other than that they served me well and my friend is using them frequently.

Do you know anywhere that sells replacement headbands?

Not sure where to buy replacements. There's upgrade kits to convert them to other headphones and 3d print options. You can also send them back to koss I believe, but it's probably the least hassle to just get a new set.

I think you'll enjoy the EW200 more! a bit wider less intimate sound and not as brightly tuned as the Hexa from what I'm reading

For the fit. Id say try comply eartips if you can do foam. Spinfit if you want silicone. If that doesn't help with fit you might want to try a new iem. At this price range its gonna be hit or miss on fit

Have you checked out the Tozo T6? I thought those were much better than these , especially the ergo fit ones.

If you Buy sonic foam tips, for $8 dollars you will get a great passive anc and you will hear the mx potential of the sound quality.... and you will be able to enjoy your music for extended periods of time with ANC OFF....

Overall I'd say Noise Cancelling is solid. It's not going to beat out Sony or Bose by any stretch, but with music on you will barely notice commuting noises . The only time I've had issues is when the gym is blasting high pitch music. I agree with Jose, generally foam tips will give you a better seal and improve isolation and sound. You just need to see if you like the feeling of foam.

These are just a problematic headphone, I hope you were able to return them for something else :(
