I have similar. Nice thought out carry on , however, it’s just the style & choice . A nice duffle bag will do & messenger shoulder bag for lappy etc will do. More practical 😝❤️
Depends how far you gotta lug it and how much organization ya need. I did duffel in Spain and I started getting fatigued over a couple weeks. But I get you

Yes it locks both the main compartment and the laptop compartment...there's two different buttons but controlled by one lock
