I agree 100%. Bread is totally the best bait. You don’t get smelly till u get a fish, it’s cheap, it’s it’s own berly, the kids can feed the ducks with it, you don’t have to get to a fishing shop to buy it. Take some ham and you have lunch sorted. Available anywhere, anytime. Oh, and it catches fish. The duck chasing the bream was pretty funny. Great video!
Can't agree more. Also, bread can catch bait fish like herring, mullet, garfish, etc. Live bait and catch more different species. Bread is my mother bait.
Hey man, I’ve been fishing for a while now land based with bait near warmies/hotties, do you have any tips on when the best times are going fishing for best results?
Went over there a few months back and spent some avo’s flickin around. Found a little honey hole a bit further up where I pulled skippy and good sized pinks out using chicken every drop. Safe to say you’ve sparked my want to go back😂
my grandpa has a weird and time taking technique, he gets meat and gives it to the fish for 4 days in a row, then on the 4th day of feeding them they will learn to come there and then you catch them all.
Man the fishing in Melbourne must be really tough if you guys are stuck chasing baby snapper. I thought there were proper sized snapper in the port? And big bream?
Just a suggestion dampen the bread at home and roll it into dough balls the night before, so it lasts on the hook, add a lil parmesan if you chasing bream, thanks for the vids
nah i wouldnt say the best mate , bream and pinkies at that size will eat anything once they fire up .... ive caught em on tin foil out of my smoke packet lol bread is good tho in the right circumstances ,
Bream are so shifty, I have thrown bread in and seen them attack it, drop a piece attached to hook and line and they ignore it because it doesn't float down the same.
Bread is great I use it like all the time put 2 size 0 split shots on light leader and a small ludrick hook I think it’s better with the spilt shots so the tiny fish don’t get to it first. Nice video mate 😄
Been using soft plastics there and i can generally pick up a pinkie or two but never any bream. Before i consider bread, any tips on getting bream on SP? Thinking a smaller grub and lighter leader.
What a start of the video I gotta try bread we gotta go out for a fish soon and you can show me some good trips and tricks to catch the fish out of docklands
I doubt you would catch big bream with bread...I have fed big bream bread and seen them eat it ,but when I threw my line in they knew to keep away from it..they must have detected the line or something...probably have a better chance in less fished areas
I agree 100%.

My best tip is don’t go to the warmies go to princess pier
Bread is good to use as bait, great if the seagulls don't get it before the fish :)
Yeah thankfully they didn't come mugg me haha

There's way easier ways to catch bream that's for sure.
@@niallcameron6433 sure is but it is a good technique!

Awesome thanks mate. Good to hear.

Very rare to catch big fish on land in here. I think our bay is overfished.

I love it most because it doesn't stink like most other bait, and no clean up haha.
@@LandFishTV very true , sounds funny but try sweet corn kernels next time , 3per hook ;)
do we need to aware of the tide on Dockland while we fishing?
Hi mate great vid was this recent or old footage also what’s a good time to get keepers at dock lands thanks!
Prawn under the float does well too. Maybe a bit deep for that there though
This is a good guy
Try to fish with bred paste
Works for saltwater?

That's why you put hooks in the burley too. It's a fool proof plan
Great video mate
do you wet the bread before you put it on the hook ?
Nope, just compress it.
@@LandFishTV i will have to give this a try

Chicken schnitzel works wonders too
The good old bread and butter species 😁
Dangerous there if you slow u can lose your rod!
Cheese mate.. Yellow cheese is the best bait ever!
I only used to see my grandfather use bread and butter.
Pinky on bread!!! Great vid mate!
