A direct drive fan is the only way to go. I have 3 trucks. An 87 samurai, 2000 f150, and a chevy s10. I made all my clutch fans direct drive. I take them apart and tig weld the shaft to the gear. Never have a problem with the fan again. Never runs hot because of thr fan.

Ya you don't need a fortune to make an xj tackle some gnarly stuff. I only had a 3 inch older rancho lift, switched to 29 spline 8.25 with zj rear disc brakes, larger ujoint shafts for the 30 and didn't break anything til the front was locked. Put rcvs in and it's not like I beat on it like you guys but with a bit of armor and stiffeners xjs can fight out of their weight class pretty easily. Love seeing xjs beat on 50k plus rigs.

As teens, Dex and Justin had a few mud toys, including 4-wheelers. However, as a rule of thumb, their hearts aren’t much towards riding in mud. Videos show what they enjoy. 🤔🤔🤔

Awesome. Man. Hoping to buy a beater Comanche and put one tons on it but your changing my mind. What do I gotta do to make the dana30/35 or 8.25 take abuse like a red headed step child?
    Stock gears and welded?

Recently saw an Offroad Liberty at Wheelin In The Country in Summertown TN. Driver was just idling around. Never saw it put to the test. Driver probably wasn’t a mechanic, or didn’t have 820 vehicles to scavenge parts from. 😳😳😳😳

Puegot. I had a 89 cherokee that had that 5 speed. I beat the heck outta my puegot 5sp. I would go in reverse oh about 15 too 20 mph and then click it into first gear N do burn outs all through second gear. 3rd gear would do almost 90mph.
