Awesome hunt Indian and over 6lbs copper 👍👍❤️
Spot price for copper is $4.52 per pound. So you did pretty good, Dave.
That's awesome finding an Indian Head penny. Nice video.
I found my frst indian head penny yestarday from 1886 its really cool how my first box hunt ever i got one
Nice to see you back on line
Nice finds man! With the extra boxes it looks like you have to do a penny stream!!
Nice haul! AND AN IHC too! Sweet deal! Someone took grandpa's penny jar to the bank... that's a lot of decent cents in just two boxes. Thanks for sharing, Dave! Great vid!
I was just thinking about your streams last night, and decided to go through my change jar.... Ended up finding a mis strike South Carolina quarter, plus one of my little drummer boys... Not bad for about $83 in change (only went through the quarters)
Great digging!! Almost $34 in copper!! And some awesome finds!!
Thanks 👍
Awesome video nice wheat pennies finds congratulations on finding a Indian head penny I don't know if you follow Rob finds treasures he does wheat penny hunt and his average copper pennies is from 5lbs to 7 lbs depending on copper pennies in the boxes and congrats on getting 7.5 lbs of copper pennies thanks for sharing diggin Dave
Hell yeah gonna go through some rolls, myself. Appreciate all of the experience you share
Nice, congrats on the IHP
This video inspired me to get $20 worth of penny rolls at the bank today. I got just one 1946D wheat penny and two Canadian cents. I did get about 400 95%ers though.
Go to the banks near the Villages in Florida for your coins. Lots of small coin collections end up getting cashed in at face value by descendents.
Copper Pennie’s are about .03 a piece by melt. Just went to a coin show, they were selling by the bag. It will continue to rise.
I’m new and learning a lot from you. Thank you. Just a quick question, when you return your coins to the bank, do you roll them first or do you take back loose coins?
Rob Finds Treasure considers it a good box for copper if he gets over 2.5 lbs per box, a total of 5 lbs for 2 boxes.
Really Wow Like all my Boxes have been Averaging around 4 lbs per Box
I like to get 2 to 2.5 lbs of copper cents per box so you did great in my book.
I got a 1908 Indian head last box I did
Twosheds Gabby is a good channel
I feel there is an assumption that every coin found with dirt has to be a metal detecting find. I found a dime on top of the grass at a friend's house along time ago that was not a metal detecting find that fits the stereotypical metal detecting find.
Pennies were 98% copper until 1996 in Canada, so you should also keep the 12-siders even though they're lighter. In USA, don't forget to weigh you 1982s, but also your 1983s, because there exists a very rare copper variety for 1983, worth hundreds. Good luck...
For sure I already do all of that! But Thank You for the Advice :)
@@DigginDave Great! And don't forget to let us know if you find a 83 copper. You hunt so many pennies, that maybe someday, you'll get one...
when will you go live?
Hi
I watch two sheds gabby also
man you always find the indians
Can someone fill me in on the reasoning behind keeping copper pennies? I get they are technically worth a bit over face in copper, but there isnt a market for them. Are people just low key melting them? Not trying to be mean i just dont get it
People are selling them for scrap, yes.
Not 100% sure but I believe it’s a federal crime to melt copper pennies and sell them for scrap.
