What a fantastic guided tour of Blade Show 2023! Thank you for taking the time to do so. And so gracious to give some exposure for the other exhibitors 👍👍 Great job #TeamTKell
Thank you Brother!
Not knocking any other knife makers but i have watched a lot videos of blade show and in my opinion nothing compares to a TKELL knife. Tim is absolutely the GOAT of making knives and his sheaths are the best too
Thank you Brother. That means a lot
Awesome of you guys to give other knife companies that we don’t normally get to see some spotlight. Great video.
Thank you!
Whenever a knife manufacturer answers the "What kind of steel?" question with "Stainless" and or "High carbon" but don't specify, I just don't trust it.
I understand that. There are also some makers that like to try and use the fringe steels that are really really high quality stuff and when they answer that question with “the steel is 18V22C99.2C74NitroblueCR46” and they get blank stares back. Maybe it’s just easier to say “it’s stainless” and avoid the awkward looks lol
@@TkellKnives Fair enough, and that could, and probably IS along the lines of what happened. However, when every manufacturer out there is proudly advertising which steel they are using so as to compete in a market where the consumer has been not only trained to expect that information, but most of us at least know enough about blade steels to avoid "Nameless Stainless," saying something along the lines of "A top end stainless/carbon steel with a dozen or so letters and numbers I always mix up." would go a long way to avoid confusion. And with as many knife makers as there are these days (which is fantastic to see!!!), I doubt that I was the only one who heard "stainless and carbon," made a poor assumption and mentally moved on to the next. Which is why I'm glad you responded so I know the possible error I made, but how many people didn't comment, or read this thread, that won't know that?
I agree with you. I’ve worked hard to get everything from the steels I use. So I personally always tell people “80CRV2, AEB-L, Nitro-V I use a salt bath heat treatment, salt bath temper, and a deep cryogenics cycle on all my blades” I’m also far more friendly and approachable than some people in the knife community. I’m just playing devils advocate.
Wodnerful video! Great seeing you guys at the show!
Thank you! Great seeing you too!
Extremely cool of you guys to take the time to give some attention to other people, almost nobody has done that even RUclips talking heads. Everybody hit the same people over and over. Thank you for spreading the love.
Thank you very much brother. We met some great folks with great blades 👍
Awesome you got a chance to see what was out there! I would have been in heaven. Hope Tim gets some ideas from this years show. Maybe I can get there next year.
Thanks for showing these other makers 🤙
i agree, the other not as known companies are more of what id like to see
Marion NC!!Your killing it!!!!!!!
Love the break there with The Knife Junkie talking about mine searching!
Bob is a great human
Great video showing off some of the other exhibitors. Congrats on moving to the big room. I was in the smaller room looking for you guys then finally had to check out the map to see where y’all were. Hurrup and make that little fixed karambit y’all had prototyped at the show. I want one!!! Btw…that guy at Banzelcraft customs is one of my favorite booths to actually chat up (well other than Tim…lol)Dude will talk all day about knives and his ideas/projects. Again great video!!!
Thank you brother. He is good dude I talk to him every year. We talked about starting ting that mini rambit today. I’m REALLY excited about it. Good to see you.
Great share! The most comprehensive video review of more tables that I've seen anywhere else! You guys got to get into the interview business! 😅🗡️✌️
Thank you 🙏 who knows maybe a 3rd career if blooming
Great stuff
Great video, and giving exposure to other knife makers, Well done. Oh I love my Nightstalker CG.
Thank you brother.
Honestly one of the best videos of the show. Nice to see a few booths that aren’t your typical big name ones.
That camera wife is pretty dang good
Wow, knives and Turkish coffee? I'm your Huckleberry! ☕☕☕☕☕
Imri’s had Cardamom in it too! It was incredible
Good vídeo Brother.
Can't wait for next year. I Will Be There!
Awesome tour! Saw a lot of booths nobody else had on their YT channels. 👍
Thank you very much!
Thanks. Enjoyed meeting y'all. Live my new knife.
It was nice meeting you too! Thank you brother
Thanks for helping me visit haha
thank you very much for posting this ! you are so kind to people , loved how you covered a lot of tables ..
cheers to the guys from my country , Mexico! , you impressed me talking spanish! so glad i have a combatant on my hip right now 🤘🏼
Thank you German! We appreciate the kind words and support.
Howdy from Texas! Nice talking with you this week and thanks for taking the time to do this video…very interesting! Will y’all be at Blade Show Tex this year? Saddle up!
Nice speaking with you also. I doubt with how busy things have gotten we will be able to swing Blade Texas. We’d love to but things are crazy these days.
@@TkellKnives Thanks for all you do for us! I see my FMF will be here tomorrow…yehaw! Have a great weekend!
You too brother
Hello from Turkey! I greatly enjoyed your video showing the other knife makers. Thanks. By the way, Turkish coffee is good, but for some people, Turkish tea (cay) is even better.
Hello! The kind we made has Cardamom also. It is truly incredible. I’ll have try the tea.
Very cool
TKell must be doing good business. Many of their models are either pre-order or sold out, esp the ones I was interested in ordering. Oh well.
I apologize sir. We are working hard to meet demand.
Think I just spotted one of your blades in a cameo appearance wielded by Denzel Washington in The Equalizer 3
Yep... as others have said, definitely one of the best showcases of bladeshow. Practically every other video is the usual big volume manufacturers.
Thank you sir. There’s a lot of great makers out there 👍
Personally have a mental block against puttin over $200 in a knife knowin full well I can get multiple decent/good knives for that or one just as good as a $300+ knife for around $200. If I had to pay $300+ for a knife, that's over halfway to the price of MANY decent guns. More power to any that do and if money were just a thing for me instead of lifeblood, I probably would.
Great video!!!
🙏
Wow, your showing me steel I never new existed. All I see is main stream stuff which is great, just got a Neutron 2 in the mail but I love fixed blades. This is a great video. Thx Rick in San Diego.
Thank you Rick.
Where do you sell your knives in Europe ?
How'd you like that turkish coffee ☕️?
They're small, but packin' ☺️
It was superb. It’s the Israeli brand that has cardamom also. We made it on a jet stove behind the table at the booth. 🤫
I wonder how many vendors don’t know that the woman their talking to is in the business and knows manufacturing and steel.
He didn't say 1840 during the Civil War did he? Surely I'm mistaken
Thats the dude from tactical rifleman with karl. I fucking knew it, 2 mins in they show his name on screen, thats him. Good shit. I been hearing good things about tkell, seen 1 fixed that looked very useful, but now that i know karls homeboy fucks with tkell imma have to check these guys out. Okay, back to the video, i paused the shit 2 mins in to post this cause i thought it was cool i recognized imri.
Good eye sniper!
How about U.S. people
Couple guys mansplaining knife steels to camera wife is kinda funny yet ironic at the same time.
