@@gordiroach07 90% of their releases are recorded in studio to match the footage. That includes all of the instruments, vocals, and even fake crowd noises. Not hard to spot.

I agree. His name is Sergei Sershen. He has his own channel. Sershen and Zaritskaya. They do some incredible covers with a female singer than can do Ann Wilson justice.

The problem with most bands covering Metallica is that the rhythm is just not as tight as Metallica's. Hetfield is in the top 3 best rhythm guitarists of all time and nobody can replicate his downpicking,but other than that these guys are doing a pretty good job and I'm enjoying their covers.
I agree. BUT I think we'd see more if he had someone else sing (Not in Metallica though). Watch him play with Machine Head, while the other guys alternate and are trying their best Hetfield is relaxed and dowpicks most of the parts.
actually they had a very good FOH sound engineer, and the guy singing had a mesa rectifier, which gives clean notes and not a muddy tone... go live with a mesa boogie, practise the downpicking and you got a really decent metallica tone, and then it depends on the sound tech to get you a good FOH mix
what you mean 3? 3 with or without the thumb? if you mean without, you are completely wrong.. if you mean 3 with the thumb above and 2 fingers below the pick then you are completely correct
***** Lots of people do that, I'm one of them. Eddie Van Halen mixes between 3 and 2, think Paul Gilbert does it as well. It's in the wrist the magic is made.

Bro these guys are the real deal...super tight as a band
the lead guitar players solo tone is absolutely incredible. I've been checking all of these guys videos, and they remind me heavily of the binge and oirge box set. Their accuracy is spot on, however they throw some of their own creativity in the mix to give it their own touch. i think Metallica would be extremely proud.

I let asking myself the last few years, “What will we do when Metallica is no more??” But I realize that it keeps being reborn in more and more cover bands the last decade or so. They have transcended.
Why is nobody talking about the fucking amazing drummer? Haven’t seen a single cover band do the type of dedication they’re doing, and that drummer is playing almost the exact random bits Lars would do today, seriously the fills during the chorus were amazing. He took the awkward random fills Lars now does during it, yet made it actually work

Exactly how much of the song is studio dubbed over the actual live recording, I don't know for sure. However, in any event, this cover by Scream... is by far (with the exception of true James Hetfield wraspy vocals - this singer uses a softer and melodic tone) the best cover performance I've heard that I can remember... EVER - And I've heard sooo many cover versions over the last 34 years. The guitar (intro, riffs, rhythm, leads & bridges/ changeovers), bass & percussion were absolutaly flawless in playing correct notes, speed, timing - (all instruments together as a band) and sound system tones. Again, my only issues to point out is, though this singer was able to mimic James's voice at times & deserves credit for vocal timing, perfect lyric reciting, and singing in a different language than his primary (I'm sure he had to work long and hard to accomplish that), his voice did not quite fit for a "Master Of Puppets" feel. Finally, the crowd definitely participated and was very in to it, which always adds to the energy & vibe- I believe that crowd noise was seperately enhanced by studio a little bit. This was great though & I certainly anticipate hearing more from these guys! Kudos all around!😎👍🎸

No soy un gran fan de metallica,pero lo que resalto de esta banda esque ademas de ser muy buenos en los instrumentos el vocalista tiene un voz muy parecida a la del vocalista original,pero ademas le da su timbre el cual caracteriza a la banda...... Gran cover...

omg the fuckin mix is superb! the bass sounds so rich and deep guitars are so clean and just everything is aligned here for you guys. singer your open vowels sound just like hetfield haha and your ooohhhs, baaabby, whoa whoa. were dead on funny and exactly what james does.
