Hey man, I know this is an older video, but I just watched it earlier today and used some of the tips you mentioned to help improve my crosshair placement in an unrated match. I'm not sure if it was just the placebo effect or something, but I noticed that my aim dramatically improved in that one match! I used to have matches where I'd completely whiff on the enemy team in multiple rounds, but that only happened once in the game I just played, and although i didn't hit headshots every single time, my overall accuracy ended up improving a lot! So thanks for the tips, and I'm definitely going to keep working on my crosshair placement!

@Elisha Vincenzo i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
This guide actually really helped, when I went into a game trying to actually focus on crosshair placement and I went like 32/12. I got a bunch of one taps on breeze with the vandal because I just held an angle at head level
It's like you've instantly become my personal coach in just 3 videos. It's amazing how one needs to do crosshair placements just like real Specs Ops do. Thanks for the info. "Fascinating... I must record this feeling!"

I think it's an oversimplification when you say "overshoot -> lower, undershoot -> raise sens" because you will always occasionally undershoot or overshoot on your targets unless you have perfect aim. Its more about being able to move your cross hair smoothly (if you jitter, lower your sens) and also being able to smoothly track a target. If you keep your crosshair on one point and you track it from different distances it becomes apparent what you need to do with your sens. If you're constantly undershooting, that means you CAN raise your sens and it will likely be more comfortable. This is my 2 cents. went from 80+ cm/360 to 52cm and now im at 34cm.
Im currently sitting at a very high cm/360 (approx. 90) and feel comfortable there, i can’t do gigantic flicks quickly though. How did reducing it affect your aim/ do you sometimes feel like you could’ve hit certain shots at a higher cm/360 which u didn’t? Thinking about increasing my sens that’s what I’m asking (and if you want to could u also add your valorant rank for reference please)
@Kylle Varon Madrigal cm/360 is a universal way to compare sensitivities between Games. You can find out yours by either plugging your dpi, game of choice and ingame sensitivity into an online calculator or by testing out in game: how many centimeters you have to move your mouse so your Character makes a full turn ingame. This is your cm/360. Depending on the game the recommended cm/360 varies, in Quake or Overwatch (genji) it is quite low, and in cs go or valorant it is quite high, but even for those two games 80+cm/360 is extremely high
@@guestaccount9242 I'm not that high rank. Only plat in valorant but I don't play ranked that much. Maybe my advice isn't valid for you if youre higher ranked, but IMO. you should increase your sensitivity as much as you comfortably can. I THOUGHT that increasing it fucked my precision which i was proud about. and actually, it did. I was playing much worse at 52 cm/360 than at 80. maybe it was a rough 2 weeks idk. But i "copied" simple's sensitivity and it immediately felt natural to me. I wasn't as accurate at first. And even just last week I was contemplating... am I sacrificing accuracy for a higher sens? After getting used to my new sens for a while I can confidently say that I'm just as accurate as before. It's cliche but its about finding what's comfortable for u. IMO aiming in these kind of games is mostly about crosshair placement. Which has little to do with your sensitivity. My crosshair placement is above average. Its gotten a lot better after i analyzed it. My movement and peeks? it was TRASH but its a lot better now that i realized like last week. i only have 140 hrs in csgo so i never learned to peek and crosshair place properly. I'm learning. high sensitvity has nothing to do with my rank or aim though.
@Kylle Varon Madrigal takes mouse moving 80 centimeters to do a 360 in game. theres a lot of websites to calculate it. 400 dpi .41 sens is about 80 cm/360 in val
As a beginner in FPS, it's so hard to figure out where the head level exactly is. When i actually have a character in my lign of sight i'm too focused on flicking and aiming so i cant even memorize the sweet spot for the next time... :/
Don't focus too much on flicking. Instead, make sure your shots are precisely on the target. It doesn't have to be a millisecond of a flick all the time. You MUST be mindful about your crosshair placement so that you won't have to adjust your aim every time someone's head pops up.
One thing I found very helpful to figure out where headshot level is - is to look at the objects in the maps. For example, boxes that are stacked on top of each other, the line the connects the two boxes is headshot level. Another example would be boxes in general are head shot level. Another example when he was entering the garage where his crosshair was, there was a line (the wall decor) that’s head shot level. So using the things in the map as guidance helped me a lot but I still have a lot way to go.

This is a very good video. I watched it a few days ago. Before that I would bottom frag a lot. My flicks were good but always dies tagging the enemy around 130-140. After this video, and applying what he said, I frag so much better. I'm always top 3 fragging in my team. And I don't even play duelist. I play initiator or Controller. Thanks for the video man!
That depends on stuff like how far are your enemies..and if you keep playing, you get the idea of the head placement on all angles of all the maps..TIP: try playing marshal in unrated (bcz one tap kill is possible with head shots only) so if you missed then you'll understand the head position next time..good luck!
As someone who is in a low elo I find this video very helpful. It seems like everybodys crosshair placement is trash in iron so I have basically become a god at aiming even though my aim hasn't improved a bit

hey appreciate this man! can you do if by any chance, a crosshair placement guide for every map in valorant? I know its too much to ask but hey, I think its needed for the community especially for low ELO plyers. thank you for your hardwork!
What do you mean? Crosshair placement applies to every map regardless. Its a trial and error to get used to. You're going to lose some games practicing, but its part of it. Try aim trainers like aimlab, to help you practice different game scenarios.
@@arev2485 Isn't flicking to a target somehow crosshair placement as well in a way? Anyways, aimlab has a variety of training tasks that not only focus on flicking. Try it though. Helped me a lot. Currently platinum 3 now. Good luck!
