I’m amazed about this sound system because we own a Jeep Grand Cherokee limited with the base sound system and it’s horrible and we are planning on getting a Hyundai palisade limited and it has the harman Cardinand it sounds AMAZING and when I say the I mean it and the bass is AMAZING compared to the Jeep but I just want to say this have a good day y’all😋😋

Very fair review. My experience was that even in the 2023 Calligraphy (Harman Kardon) that I tested the sound was still flat and above average at best. The positioning of the speakers keeps the sound below your ears (if that makes sense), so that the sound is never quite immersive. It offers a clear and crisp quality, but in a way that is more like luxury clock radio speakers.
For a full screen apple car play you have to Unplug phone then go to Setup > device connections > phone projection / CarPlay. Uncheck “use split screen.” Plug back in.
Great review as always! Just wanted to let you know that you can make the Apple CarPlay take up the whole screen, it’s just buried in the settings menu…

Unfortunately, my 2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy's audio system sound quality is horrible. My old 2013 Santa Fe Limited Infinity sound system sounded exceptionally better. The most recent Nov. 2022 infotainment update made matters worse...SMH. I haven't had to upgrade factory speakers since my 1993 Ford Taurus. With that said, I feel like I have no choice but to install aftermarket speakers to enjoy my investment. FYI: this is a known issue and the Hyundai Palisade forums are littered with the same remarks and experiences
Unless I missed it, I wish you had compared the Harmon Kardon system to other vehicles in the mid-size SUV 3rd row segment (Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Nissan Pathfinder, VW Atlas, Ford Explorer, etc.)
Agree. My 2023 Calligraphy's sound system is average at best. Doesn't come close to my Mazda's Bose speakers. Any recommendations for a Bass booster or Speaker upgrade?

@@DailyMotor ahh i meant the 60/90 series I forgot to specify.. any luck on hearing that system? It’s different than the XC40/P*2 which even though it is the same wattage, isn’t as powerful
@@christopherrmcg Ahh gotcha. Nope, not yet. Every 60/90 they send us is fully loaded.
The reason android auto is running bad is the phone. It's a 150$ phone what do you expect 🙂
