Fasten your seatbelts and grab your passport!
This video focuses on some the hauntings in a number of international airports around the world. Today we look at hauntings at Heathrow in London, where three apparitions are said to lurk, Dallas Fort Worth in sunny Texas, Tenerife in the Canary islands, where tragic figures seem to appear and finally Kuala Lumpur, where mischievous spirits seem to cause all sorts of interference.
At the end of the video, I explain that there will be an aviation ‘Archive’ video of various bits and pieces; some are airline memorabilia, I have letters, postcards and all sorts of things to share with you. This will be a separate video and it will be uploaded shortly after this video. There will be a new playlist called ‘Archive’ and you’ll find it there.
Some of the stories focus on historic events and I hope you feel that my video covers the sad side of history in a respectful and honest way, without the need for sensationalising the past.
As always, I hope you enjoy these tales from around the world. Feel free to leave a comment. Thank you so much for your kind words and comments. They mean so much to me.

Hearing stories about children ghosts always used to scare me. But now that I'm a father myself. The thought of a lost little boy sobbing his heart out, unaware that he's dead, absolutely terrified, breaks my heart. If I was there at Heathrow. I would just want to help him.
I am sure many would agree with your thoughts here 🙋♀️🙏
Same for me. We lost our adult son to Homicide over five years ago and the thought of him being lost between worlds is gut wrenching enough but the thought of a small child in the same situation is just unthinkable.
For a flight attendant myself who frequents Heathrow and Dallas/Fort Worth, this video was absolutely fascinating! Beautifully done! I’m going to inquire with the ground staff at Heathrow Terminal 3 and Terminals A and C at DFW if anyone has ever seen anything! I have a colleague friend who would love this video!
Thank you so much and I am so pleased you enjoyed the video. Yes, it would be very interesting to hear any stories and experiences from staff at the airports you mentioned for sure 👻🙋♀️
Glad KL was finally mentioned although I can tell you of a particular incident around 2009. Our party was a touring band that had just performed at the Jakarta jazz festival. We had an overnight layover at the airside hotel in KL International Airport. I was awoken several times at night by a lady crying right in my ear. At first, I thought one of the band members was playing a trick on me but when I turned on the lights there was no one there. One of our members actually fared way worse. He was pushed out of his bed several times during the night by a laughing child. Of course, when the lights went on , there was no child to be found. He was so spooked that he decided to sleep in reception. As he opened his door to leave he found blood all over the hand that had opened the door. We found him absolutely petrified the following day in reception. We recounted the stories to each other. On the flight we got talking to a flight attendant and recounted our encounter to her. She gave us a knowing smile but made no comment when we asked her if she'd heard of any such encounters before. At first, I just put it all down to being tired and the hotel being rather airless. But that crying was so vivid and I would know it anywhere if I heard it again.
Wow what an interesting story and thank you ever so much for sharing. I think ghosts that involve beds and sleeping are very creepy! 👻🙏
Thank you@@ghostcasebook1266
My mum used to date a carpenter. He was an immensely physical and strong man. He told a story of staying in a hotel room prior to a flight from the UK when he felt his bed covers slip off him. Well, naturally that was the only possible rational explanation so he reached down and pulled it back up over him. Not to long after it happened again. So he pulled it back over him. A second or so later, now more Lucid and acutely weary he felt it slowly being pulled away from him. He gripped it tightly with all his strength and it was yanked from him with ease. I can't remember what happened after that but that always stayed with me and shit me up. I can't stay anywhere now and not have sleepless nights even with the room light on. I mean what the Hell was in his room and that had more strength than he did?
I think the blood all over the hand was a sure sign something strange was happening. I mean, if that's not compelling, I don't know what is!

I have my own ghostly encounter from Heathrow (terminal 2 or 3 can’t remember) to tell you about here. I was washing my hands in the restroom, when I felt like I can only describe a child’s hand poking me in my hips and tugging at my shirt, I turned around and nobody was there…. This happened in December 2022.
That’s very interesting and similar things have been felt in Honolulu airport too. Sometimes people have had their shoe laces undone. 👻🙋♀️
@@ghostcasebook1266 its funny, I actually dismissed it at first as thought you can't possibly have ghosts in a modern airport, especially the restroom! Then I watched this video, it goes to show, you can get ghosts anywhere.
With the sheer numbers of loss of life, I’m surprised there aren’t more sightings.
Absolutely 100% agree 🙋♀️👻🙏
They are probably there, just everyone is too busy to stop and See...
There are bound to be so many more that go unreported - looking forward to the next chapter, thanks Nicola!
Yeah. Coz everybody becomes a ghost when they die 🤡
Only if you believe ghosts are the spirits of the deceased
Reminds me of “ghosts of the london underground” documentary. I love stories of ghosts where you wouldn’t expect them
Yes I love that documentary too 👻🙋♀️
I've just requested that Nicola do a video on this very topic, if she wishes! I saw that documentary and it was fascinating.
One passenger, Robina van Lanschot, from the KLM flight disembarked at Tenerife because she lived in the island with her boyfriend Paul Wessels. Her two friends weren't so lucky. Robina married Paul whose sister Yvonne was on the flight. Yvonne perished in the crash.
Yes, that was quite a story wasn’t it? What a lucky escape for sure.
@@ghostcasebook1266 Love and practicality saved her. She felt it didn't make sense for her to go Las Palmas then go back to Tenerife. Robina tried to convince her friends to come with her but they elected to comply with the airlines strict rules to go to Las Palmas since it was a tour group.
I enjoy watching your channel and look forward to more stories. I used to live in two haunted houses during my childhood and teenage years. 🙂
I remember well!

They tried really hard to force her to go on the flight too.
Man. That story about the security guard seeing a man clutching onto the kiosk and saying, "Fuego! Fuego!" before disappearing sounds absolutely terrifying 😬
Extra horrifying
Yes !! My heart was pounding out of my chest !! Because I was ones stuck in Calgary. On my way to Vancouver Canada and it was eerie at 3:30 in the morning. No one was around and I didn’t know where I was going and then I saw a man walking towards me But he was real……. I think ..
Sadly there were some other dreadful incidents at Tenerife in the early 1970s and I think 1980 when a Dan Air plane crashed and it killed around 150 people. Very sad. 😔
@@ghostcasebook1266 Those poor people :(
This episode was thrilling, informative, and a little chill-inspiring, especially about the little girl in Tenerife (that was just sad). However, all of us old Chicago South-siders know that Midway Airport has been haunted for years -- that would be a really interesting one.
I know O Hare has some stories but I’ll have to look into Midway I think! So pleased you enjoyed the video and thank you for taking the time to comment 👻🙋♀️
That United 737 in the 60s?
Great video, as usual, Nicola. Tragic deaths seem to go hand in hand with reported ghost sightings so it's no real surprise that airports, often the location for disaster, can be a haunted hotspot.
Glad you enjoyed it! I agree the disasters are so awful. The archive video is out now too 👻🙋♀️
@@ghostcasebook1266 yes, I saw it thanks. You certainly have a unique collection of treasures.
Im wondering about 911 and the twin towers. I live in New York and wondering if they are just walking around between the hustle and bustle that is New York City. ?? I also saw so many deaths at the hospital where I work during Covid. I haven’t heard of any ghost as of yet though. But maybe we are so over crowded that they get lost in the mix
Such an interesting video! Great script writing and very nicely voiced! I also like how you included the history of the airport too! Being interested in aviation and paranormal activity made me click on this video immediately. We are so blinded by the isolation of ghosts in movies that we forget they can be anywhere, even in a busy place like an airport!
I have never left my country, so the only airports I've been to were the domestic parts of Sydney and the Gold Coast. With my very limited time within airports however, I do have one story that happened in the Sydney airport. My dad, grandad and I went to a section of the airport to sort out something. The airport was completely empty. As we were walking towards a flight of stairs, I saw a tall and thin, blonde woman. She was probably in her late 40s and wearing what looked like a flight attendant dress with a dark blue blazer over it. She was walking very slowly away from us. Her footsteps didn't make a sound. As we got to the top of the stairs, she was gone. Later on when we reached some office, she was standing a long distance away from the door. She stood motionlessly with her arms loosely crossed, staring at us. I was the last to walk into the office and just before I did, the woman seemingly disappeared into thin air.
Thank you ever so much; I really appreciate your comment 👻🙋♀️
The sightings of the ghosts of small children have to be the saddest thing. At least the adult ghosts had the chance to live some of their lives. 😢
I agree, so sad. Thank you for commenting 🙋♀️👻
Very quick half-hour, enthralling stories. I'm curious about the Canadian airports with hauntings. I'm very much looking forward to a sequel. Loved the video, thank you.
More to come! I only know of one in Canada and I will cover it in the future along with some Canadian stories. I’m working on becoming more international! 👻🙋♀️
I never thought of Airports being haunted. Another great episode.
Thank you so much. I agree, we never think of it but apparently they are. There will be a sequel too 👻🙋♀️🙏
I love this 💕 I’ve always wondered if airports are haunted after a major accident happened. And now I found a video to watch. I hope theres more 😊
There will be more definitely and here’s a link to the Aviation archive video I did that follows on from this video

I work in the travel industry and found this video absolutely fascinating. I look forward to the next chapter!
Oh brilliant thank you so much for commenting. Glad you enjoyed it 👻🙋♀️
These videos are very well done. Facts and not sensationalism. And no clickbait which seems to be on the rise with a lot of channels.
Oh thank you kindly! I do try to make videos that have some detail where I can and I know what you mean about clickbait! 👻🙋♀️🙏
This was a very eerie video Nicola but very nicely done. I never thought about haunted airports before. I don’t know why the thought of haunted airports is so creepy for me. Shiver, shiver! It’s neat to see the change in food offered on the flights. I feel so sad for air hostesses stuck reliving serving food. And the business man.
Thanks again. 👻🙋♀️🇺🇸
I’d also feel bad for the ghosts of pilots, condemned to fly forever.
Thanky you ever so much 👻🙋♀️
@@mikoto7693 There is supposed to be a ghost plane that does exactly that!
@@ccasey1904 I’m not surprised in the slightest.
My sister died night shift security at our local airport in Scotland. Although it is supposed to be haunted, she still hasn't seen anything out of the ordinary. Disappointing. Especially with its history, of being used by the RAF during WW2.
"Does" not "died". Blinking autocorrect.
Back in 1970 when I was a young boy my parents had a friend who was a serving police officer at Heathrow Airport. He told us a tale about being called with a colleague to escort off the runway the person picked up by the control tower. When they arrived at the scene a man was wandering about and he was asked what he was doing. The man replied he was looking for his briefcase. When they got out the patrol car to approach him he simply disappeared before their eyes. They weren’t shocked as they had heard about this ghost story before but it was the first time they came across him.
I always thought this was nonsense until listening to your channel. Very interesting story.
That’s an interesting story for sure. Thank you so much for sharing 👻🙋♀️
This has the feel of the excellent ghosts of the underground from C4 in 2005. It's on RUclips and probably the best documentary on ghosts ever!
I know the documentary you mean and I’m flattered! Thank you ever so much. I am not a professional film maker but I try to create videos that are not jumpy but tell the stories and history as best as I can. 👻🙋♀️🙏
Was it a documentary or a podcast?
Teneriffe Los Rodeos airport has had many deadly crashes, including the one mentioned here. Always wondered if there is hauntings there because that but never before have heard or read such, until now. Thank you for great video!
You are very welcome and thank you so much for your kind words and comment 👻🙋♀️
I absolutely ADORE haunted airports or haunted areas where a place crash happened…..some truly disturbing and chilling stories I’ve heard! You don’t see them mentioned as much! Or natural disaster hauntings like the tsunami ghosts in Japan etc……thank you soooo much I love your channel it’s THE BEST of its kind imo 🖤🧡⚰️💀
Oh thank you so much, you’re very kind. I am so pleased you’re interested in the stories and whilst they are very sad, they are intriguing to me (and to you, I think!) 👻🙋♀️🙏
The entire world is haunted, basically. They're all around us. Our visible plane is just one slice of the big cake called universe. It has gazillions of it, thin and multilayered. In some places, they intersect and we end up with "visions" of ghosts. Also places with a high energy rate caused by lots of deaths or very violent ones or a combination of both (like battlefields etc) are like doorways and it's often easy for the sensitive to feel or even see them. While we live our daily lives, we also leave energy tracks, and that residual energy can likewise be felt by others, dead or alive. Intense emotions can also trigger a release of energy from the other side, because the vibrations are in sync with each other. It's all a very amazing system. Not scary at all.

When I was a teenager, long before 9/11 and mobiles, we'd play hide and seek in the DFW airport. It was FUN!!!
Airports were very different back then right? 👻
This is great -- I've never come across a video discussing ghosts in airports. It never occurred to me, to be honest, but it makes sense! Some horrible tragedies here, but I'm glad we still have Brian Cox... he's a great actor. :)
Yes indeed he is and apparently he has a fear of flying because of this incident. I agree, some dreadful tragedies and I agree we don’t think of airports as terribly haunted places but apparently they are 👻🙋♀️
As if I didn't already have a fear of flying. Well organized, well narrated with a good collection of ghosts.
Thank you so much 👻🙋♀️

@@ghostcasebook1266 Thank you. I will.
Hi there I recently found your channel by accident. I hold a deep interest in the paranormal and have done for many years. I'm slowly working my way through your videos. I'm not sure if you're aware of this story regarding Heathrow, when I was a teenager I was reading a book on ghost stories one of which was about Heathrow. Many times, particularly late night or in foggy conditions pilots, ground staff and even police have reported seeing a figure on the runways. Descriptions are that of a figure in a Tri corn hatand a cloak. I read in the book at the time that people believed it to be the possible ghost of Dick Turpin as apparently it was one area he frequented. Keep the stories coming I've subbed to your channel.
All the best Dorian
Thank you so much. Yes, it seems Dick Turpin haunts several locations including Heathrow and York! 👻🙋♀️
I found that very interesting! I never thought about airports being haunted. Never came across anything myself, but I'm usually in airports when they are very busy so I likely would not have seen anything unusual.
So pleased you enjoyed the video and thank you so much. Airports can be so busy and stressful that I think we don’t pay attention or observe our surroundings much! 🙋♀️👻
Singapore has Kallang Airport in the 50s and in 1956 a BOAC Lockheed Constellation crashed at landing and burnt alive all on board . Even before I came to know of this tragedy, I always had a very melancholy, sad and eerie feeling whenever I pass by the former crash site. Till today, the airport has been preserved as a heritage site, quite empty buildings left as a visual historical sight with no public access given.
Singapore is for another video and so is Hong Kong, I think. Thank you so much for your comment 👻🙋♀️
Heathrow in my opinion is haunted I have worked the night shift and noticed there is an eeriness around the old areas where the older terminals were. A few of our cargo management who I worked for did notice on night loading there were reports of someone on the runway.
I work in an airport now which was a raf station some things go bump in the night
Most airports from other contacts have got an aura of them
Thanks for a amazing video defo subbing
Thank you so much for your comment; that’s so interesting about your line of work. I think haunted RAF bases might become a video on its own as there are so many stories 🙋♀️👻
@@ghostcasebook1266 yes please to the raf bases that’s one spooky section of haunted England
Really enjoyed this one, like most people I’ve flown from all of those airports and many more….you never really think of the paranormal when you’re at an airport but the amount of human life lost in these locations makes perfect sense that occurrences may happen.
I appreciate your comment and kind words Brad 👻🙋♀️
Plane crashed, car crashes are the perfect storms for ghost activity, the body brought to a stop suddenly while the soul keeps going, it's not just some fantasy, many witnesses, like the ghost in a suit covered in jet fuel asking where he is, looking for his connecting flight.
Always love your videos, you do an excellent job!!

I was enjoying this video and then, my home airport (Dallas) was next on the list! I was not looking forward to it as Texas has its share of unexplained history that I would not want to delve into!😁
I hope you enjoyed the stories in the video but Texas is an interesting place on the paranormal front. Such a huge area. I’ve not been but I hope to travel there in the future for sure 👻🙏🙏
When I worked at Newcastle International Airport, our crews used the 3rd floor corridors was creepy at night, esp 3am, 4am when we used start our shifts we used have team briefings beforehand. One early start on the 3rd floor where passengers aren't allowed, the fire doors opened themselves witnessed by 5 of my team colleagues. This airport has a very long history, used during the WW2 as RAF Woolsington for the bomber command. A few times I used get the lift up to 3rd floor, I used feel uneasy in the corridors walking to the air crew on my own. When we had our fire training, they took us over by minibus to the Fire Academy passing the airport control tower, the fire academy was very old fashioned as if time stopped still, the toilets and showers were like something out of the sixties, we just found this place very spooky it was freezing and was glad when the training session was over to get back over to the airport. Our staff park free in the long stay car park & it's a 10 min walk to get to our airport, very dark car park, creeps, I remember hearing footsteps behind me around 3.30am in the morning and they was nobody behind me, I ran so fast to get inside the airport. This was during 2022 - 2023.
Goodness me that sounds like some very alarming activity happening there. Quite scary I should imagine! And being followed. Yikes! Thank you ever so much for sharing such strange encounters! 👻🙋♀️🙏
Excellent! Keep up the good work!

Those micro bursts are no joke, was coming home to DFW from NJ and got caught in a sudden one. That is another kind of terror to feel the plane drop verically. Even babbies and small children were too scared to scream. Wouldn't surprise me that one of the 3 original terminals has a haunting.

@@ghostcasebook1266 Denver,?....not sure what you nean...can you elaborate?
Hi Jaws Denver International has a whole load of conspiracy theories linked to it. Some say there are enormous tunnels underneath it, some say it was built for the New World Order to take over. Some believe the sculpture of a blue mustang (nicknamed Blucifer) is haunted or cursed as the sculptor died when a big chunk of the horse fell on him and severed an artery in his legs! Fascinating and entertaining, thanks for sharing 🙂 I’m not sure what you mean by ‘runway 1’ at Heathrow though. The fact that apparently the aircraft nearly crashed into buildings on Bath Road suggests it was the north runway, now 27R/09L.

Working on a computer network in a newly remodeled hospital I was working late at night to finish my work. I noticed a cleaning lady working in my area. A blizzard had blown in, and my manager came to retrieve me. He asked if anyone was in the building besides me, and I mentioned the cleaning lady. He said, "Oh, her, well she'll be okay." The next morning, he told me about the cleaning lady, and that some can easily see her, while others can't. Nothing else was said.
Later, I asked why they didn't do a clearing and send her into the light? He casually mentioned that things get cleaned during the night, and they don't have to pay her.
😅 I don't know if that is sad, or funny!
Very interesting though!

I work at what's considered a haunted airport, though most of the reports of haunting have been off of airport grounds. There was a huge plane crash back in '79 right off the runways and I used to pass the site regularly as a kid.
I've just this month had to resign from working at Heathrow after 7 years pushing trolleys. Some of my much longer serving colleagues told me about some of their experiences:
One chap used to work nights on a perimeter security checkpoint where they would frequently glimpse someone pass by their window who would quickly disappear.
A female colleague recalled seeing an air hostess in 70s looking uniform was at the smoking area at the bottom of short stay car park 3, which is now physically obscured by the Underground ventilation tower in front of it. The air hostess looked like she was simply waiting for a bus, before disappearing.
The staff room used by the trolley team in Terminal 1 was reportedly haunted, as sometimes someone might have a newspaper or something else they were holding ripped out of their hands.
The multi storey car parks are also frequently used by people committing or attempting to commit suicide, which likely only adds to the number of ghosts at the airport.
That was a pretty awesome video I love airplanes ✈️ and ghost stories about them are so cool 😎 😊
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you so much 👻🙋♀️
ace vid, Ive never been on a plane so not been in an airport but I would have thought that building on places that have been lived in or on before might have spirit attached to if not the land might very interesting :)

Please do! Glad you enjoyed the video 👻🙋♀️🙏
Very good and well presented.
Thank you kindly! 👻🙋♀️
I guess this all boils down to if you believe in the supernatural or not. I’ve never had any such experience but I’m reminded of the Eastern L-1011 that crashed in the Everglades. The cause was the crew focused on a light bulb for the main gear lock. After the crash Eastern used many of the parts leftover from the crash. Immediately they had reports of the aircrew members who died being seen on different flights. It happened so much that with little fanfare Eastern removed all parts from the inventory. And after that the reports of ghost being seen stopped.
Just knew so many air Ports vey Interesting History 😊
Glad you enjoyed 👻
Old geezer here To my mind a flight attendant uniform with a pillbox hat is from the 1960's - 1970's but I am unsure about the details of such things of course.
I think you might be right there 👻🙋♀️
So very sad that these poor souls cannot move on. 😢
lt is particularly upsetting to look into cases involving child hauntings. l can only imagine how frightened they are. At Waverley Hills sanitorium in the US, a child ghost will even play ball on occasion. l am not a medium, so l deeply regret that l cannot help them to go into the light.
I have heard about this. Sounds very upsetting, you are right on that. Thank you so much 👻🙋♀️
Best ghost story video ever :).
Wow, thank you very much 👻🙋♀️
@@ghostcasebook1266 You're welcome. I love real life horror and the way someone tells the stories is always important. Some of your narration made me tear up.
As always, a wonderful video you have presented to us. A kind of different direction... which i really love. Airports throughout the world, cater to millions of passengers every year. Its no wonder there would be stories of the Paranormal associated with them.. and of course, if an accident does occur in an airport or on board an aircraft, it usually involves multiple people, and or... casualties... many souls who were obviously, not ready to leave this realm, yet, they leave under extreme, and very unexpected conditions. Thank you again for this video Nicola ❤
Thank you so much James for your positive words. I am so glad you enjoyed the video and I agree, it’s a bit different but I am glad I went for it! 👻🙋♀️
Yes, ghosts in very MODERN settings is very weird as well.
Not directly at the airport itself, but there was a crash near O'Hare on May 25th, 1979. American Airlines Flight 191, a DC 10- had recently had engine maintenance and the engine had been reattached incorrectly. It came off at takeoff and the full plane crashed, just missing a mobile home park. No one from the plane survived, and two people on the ground were also killed. Many people who lived nearby would have their doors knocked on, but no one there, usually. There were a few ghostly figures who wanted to know what happened to their luggage. White lights were also reported at the field where the crash happened, and police went, thinking that morbid souvenir hunters had gone there, but there was no one there. Dogs would even bark at the empty field.
Yes I heard about this. How interesting? I think that might be a story for another video 👻✈️🙏
I love that video more please.
Dallas (DFW) feels off. I always felt uneasy in that facility!
regarding the man with the briefcase - firstly if his body was badly charred, i doubt the people working on the crash would have recognised it as the same man they just saw, and also - do radar systems at airports pickup individual people on the runway? i am not sure that is how radars work
You forgot to mention the ghosts of American Airlines flight 191 (Chicago O'Hare) ...
I didn’t cover Chicago in this video but I might in the future 👻
I''m an open minded sceptic about anything unexplained, although I don't usually research ghosts.
I have JUST come across this video though, and found it fascinating.
If ghosts DO exist, then these are the types of encounters/visuals that I could believe in.
It's strange how some "ghosts" are transparent, and yet others are deemed as solid, and look like a normal person.
What I've never understood, is why MORE psychics don't help spirits go into the light!
If I had that gift, I'd want to help these people!
I don't watch these stupid ghost hunting tv shows, although I've watched bits and pieces of them.
The EVP thing is completely unbelievable, as is the the equipment that supposedly shows joints of ghosts (that's been debunked anyway).
Thank you for your wonderful narration btw.
I will watch the other airport videos.
Oh thank you ever so much indeed. I am glad you are enjoying the videos. There is a part 2 on my channel too. I suppose some of these apparitions may be visiting rather than stuck? I don’t know 🙏🙋♀️👻
@@ghostcasebook1266 yes. I doubt we'll EVER know.
I've been watching "Mission Unexplained" on SKY HISTORY NOW (uk).
It features ex-military people that have had strange experiences whilst on duty.
I can't see anything about it being fiction or "for entertainment purposes only", and their stories are fascinating....and very believable.
You might be interested.
As much as i shouldn't be joking about ghosts from real tragedies...
Damn it, G-Man, you aren't supposed to be haunting Heathrow! That bowler hat disguise won't fool anyone!
