This is the first time I see such detailed Isometric tutorial on RUclips. Thank you for sharing this! It is very inspiring, I want to try all that I saw here! So many ideas, thank you! P.S. Hope you will make more tutorials like this.
for the updated version, if youre having trouble at the 3D Extrude & Bevel part: instead of going Effect -> 3D and Materials -> Extrude & Bevel, go Effect -> 3D and Materials -> 3D (classic) -> Extrude & Bevel (Classic) and then Expand Appearance.
@Toastedclosure2770 I have been trying to see where it went wrong as it didn't want to expand! Thank youuu!! The new Extrude & Bevel creates animage, while the 3D classic keeps it in vectors THANK YOU FOR THE TIP!
I really appreciate this tutorial for demonstrating specific tools. It doesn't go into the creative problem solving aspect of design, but clearly demonstrates the use of different tools working together to create this style of design. Thank you!!
First time I do Adobe Illustrator and with your tutorials i know i can learn with your such in-depth detailed tutorials.. Thank you, grateful for your work 😉
This is really coool. I'm a graphic student and a friend of mine asked me to "create her a new room" and i didn't wanted to do it on a website with ugly and non-personnalized furnitures or on blender. This might be the perfect way to do it ;) THank you~
Thank you ❤️ If you’ll have any questions - watch Isometric house, tutorial in 2 parts. Hope you’ll finish your project successfully 💥 Also don’t hesitate to ask me in the comments 👍
Well, there’s another isometric tutorial is coming soon! ;) And I think you’ll enjoy it even more, because I will show you a lot more advanced methods. I’m very excited to share it, so get ready and stay tuned, my friend! Also thank you for your inspiring feedback. I appreciate it very much!

Hi, Sammy, my dear friend! I feel blessed to have you here. Sure I will find. YOU are my inspiration. You will get more, even more than you can imagine. Talking about isometric design, there’s new tutorial coming soon, just a little patience ;)
Awesome! Very soon you’ll see new isometric tutorial, which is also extremely informative. I can’t wait to share it with you, so stay tuned and prepare ;) Also thank you for feedback, it means a lot to me, even more than you can imagine.
Soon there will be even deeper isometric tutorial, I will share some amazing stuff with you, so stay tuned, my friend! Thank you for feedback, it is very inspiring and full of energy!
I am a beginner and would like to know if I really can learn this. Looks very exciting, but I don't want to be confused with such amount of different stuff... Should I really spend my time on this tutorial now?
Hello, Ali! Thank's for your feedback! Here's my advice: Watch this video first. Simply watch, don't try to remember all that you see. After this take one of objects. Clock for example. Watch how to create it again. You will see that there's no such thing that you can't understand. Just open Illustrator and create this clock without watching how I do this for this time. If you will create all scene like this clock, you will boost your Adobe Illustrator skill more and better than if you would do 10 tutorials for the very beginners. Just don't confuse yourself. Take separate elements and recreate. Good luck, man!
I got in love on this kinds of art and i saw this one on ncs i realize that it's isometric flat design i'm going to try this one out later on thank you so much for your tutorial
Sorry for that weird comment as i did speech to text there haha. I love ur vids, currently im doing the windows part and excited to finish your video. i got the hype on doing isometric room! So excited! Thanks for your video
Yes! Want to know what’s the most important? Understand how it works and then create interiors that you like. Use references and turn them to isometric design with your new skills. You can also create houses, streets or else. You can watch 2 parts video ‘isometric house’ to dive into advanced isometric techniques.
Thanks for great video! Can I have a question? after I finished expend appearance and ungroup the object, it did not show every anchor point like the video. So I could not change or remove the object. it seems like the object is transformed into image. If you help me to solve the problem, it will be very grateful!
instead of going Effect -> 3D and Materials -> Extrude & Bevel, go Effect -> 3D and Materials -> 3D (classic) -> Extrude & Bevel (Classic) and then Expand Appearance.
I love this video. A lot of good tips! At 24:09 you create a shadow from the tabletop. For this, I just use my direct selection tool and ALT drag it + ungroup.
@@tt_tutorials I'm watching all your videos all really useful and boosting tips... Appreciate your hard work Thank you... Can you tell where did you created the sketch?
I appreciate your question so much, because there was a lot of questions from subscribers who asked about sketch and that’s why I’m going to add 2 intro parts to videos: first I will show how to create sketch and play with composition, and then will show how to pick colors for illustration! To do this, I need just a little time to balance everything, because it will be some kind of new format. So for now there will be a few usual tutorials and then extended tutorials with drawing sketches and picking colors. Stay tuned, my friend! I’m very excited to share with you :) P.S. answering your question straight, I created sketch with pencil on paper. Also it is possible in photoshop if you have a tablet.
You're welcome, Nina! Try to follow this tutorial, you'll be able to create any isometric scene you want with it! :) Happy creating and thank you for your inspiring feedback!
