Just wait until you spend 5 minutes trying to make a turn into a parking lot... I've seen one guy with this kind of truck struggle for five minutes because he needed an extra full 3 feet to maneuver once he hooked up the trailer. I wonder if some of these trucks will need an early transmission rebuild because they'll be in reverse a lot of the time.
Add a 53' trailer, or two of them, to this thing and then try taking a right hand turn to get to the warehouse. This is for the guy who wants to haul his 40' luxury boat on vacation, nothing else
Would heavy haul work with this type of sleeper truck? I mean plenty of heavy haul are permit loads and extra long themselves already is why I'm asking.
Why not haul loads like custom critical? Sounds stupid, but it’s urgent units. Typically shorter trailers (we’re talking you sacrifice your own sleep for time sensitive items and so forth). Also more expensive to ship, Hence a bigger profit. At that point you deserve a truck that you can live in. And it can still navigate traffic. You’re forgetting the truck industry has multiple niches. Volvo didn’t target a specific niche with this model. They looked at the urgency and importance of the transportation industry.
I've seen a guy bring one of these to my workplace. He took a long time to line up the truck with the trailer (53'). Other truckers got annoyed because it took even longer to align the truck with the exit gate. The wheelbase on those is the worst for tight places like a gated warehouse.
@spaceace1006 It's going to be a nightmare. I've seen these absolutely struggle to make a simple turn in a parking lot that is just 10 inches too narrow for them. The problem is the wheelbase feels like it's the length of the Titanic!
@@pozitivtoks8743In a very bad snow storm you'd park, especially if there's a high level emergency on the road. I think what he's saying is, that thing looks so comfortable and nice that waiting inside of this truck in the storm wouldn't affect you or your mental because it'll be comfortable and warm AF.
A lot of wastes space in the living quarters. Why the huge countertops and fridge?? With a little bit of planning they could have moved the ”diningroom” forward and fitted a fixed bed in the back 🤷🏻♂️
This is a nightmare at my workplace. One guy picked up a full length trailer and was annoying the other incoming truckers because his rig was too long to get out the exit quickly. All he had to do was move it 12 measly feet to the left but woah, that was a HUGE chore for him because of the sheer size of it.
Those guys carrying air plane wings wouls have a Field Day hauling with this. Ive always respected thise guys more because they show off great skills. Doesn't matter how long it takes to make a turn because you're at work and everyone behind him would have to wait anyway. They could be mad, but its not like theyll do anything about it, but stay mad.
Such a vehicle can only be of use outside city limits on long haul routes. It isn't a sleep unit it's a mobile home and would be ideal for a driver and partner but difficult to negotiate city streets with trailer attached
As much as awesome it seems to be, this thing is already like a trailer of its own. But a cool build nonetheless. Maybe like if someone buys it for just pure fun and living, not actual driving
Very nice, but very long and in a corner the trailer would grab a lot of track space.... Nothing functional! Maybe if they put steering on the rear axle...
that's a big fridge to keep your big mac's in. I would of settled for a decent single fridge/freezer and then used the space for an eye level oven/grill etc🍔🍟🍔🍔🍟🍔
It cannot pull regular loads in a full length trailer. The trailer will almost never be loaded to full capacity. I saw a truck like this at my workplace. They picked up a full length trailer but it was only filled with boxes that had a lot of stuffing (the products were very small so they all had packing bubbles. I feel that if it had been loaded with heavier items, he would struggle to get it moving at highway speeds... Source: a guy at my job who used to be a trucker. He said some truckers he knew sometimes lamented how hard it was to move full length trailers when the wheelbase was so long.
🎉🎉🎉 Shalom King Rig Volvo. Do The Real Rig Driver's get one of theses. With their Stimulus money. I'm a small Church. Your first lady mess with my church truck. I don't want their Stimulus cause it's the People money. Truth be told Can I get half on This Rig Volvo. Ok. I just purchased a Prostitute 350ML and I didn't know. I still haven't gotten the bank loan paperwork. Ok.
I know that some cannot pull that with regular loads like electronics and heavy items. I saw a truck like this pick up a 53-footer but it was packed with tiny items that weigh very little.
I'm not impressed with the layout. Seems like bed would be annoying as well. Depends on what the latches are made of. 🤷♀️ I LOVE the Kenworth Super truck 2 concept though. Lol
I feel like it reduces efficiency as the truck is way too long and at the end will lead to a reduction in the length of the trailer so as not to violate the overall length law
Real fun going into New York City
Especially on a right turn in downtown NYC
FNYC
That completely mirrored back to the camper is perfect for blinding all the drivers behind you when the sun is in the wrong place!
Snap
Wow i would have LOVED a rig like that when I was driving over the road. In a old Mack cabover with a coffen sleeper.
lol i hear that
That's a dream truck right there 💯💯💯

It looks huge outside and inside there isn’t much room at all, not good design for internal space

Damn, I thought it was for the average American with a boat...

They need to play " give me 40 acres and I'll turn this thing around"

Pretty durn cool. Just imagine getting stuck in a snowstorm and having to wait it out in this.
Зачем переждать 😏 , тут человек жизнь проживëт - в дороге ,

She's absolutely gorgeous.
This time they are going for the heart. This excellence can never be toppled. This my friends is the real deal, Titanic's brother: Volvo 🎉🎉🎉❤
Nothing beats the thrill of watching a bulldozer in action-pure power and precision!
OMG that thing is beautiful
I love the spa on the back😊

Here in méxico we need that trucks.the best of the best.greetings and best wishes.😮
I'll just park up and live in it!
For that money you could just buy a house, or a massive double wide!
Or a class A RV that has 3 times the living space
Good trucks Volvo

Awesome 👌
That is a great-sized head.
That’s a nice fridge!
At this level of luxury, I would always use the 3rd door 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Most beautiful truck 😍😍😍😍
в двух комнатной квартире не хватает места для такого холодильника. А они запихали его в трак ))))
thats right, i could not beleive it either
The dirvers cabin is straight mid 90s...
A true VIKING'S GOGOMcTRUCK
That net over the bed is so that someone can legally sleep while the truck is moving.
Looks pretty practical for manoeuvring around tight spaces,
Why not use it for multi dropping in town centres

Very cool.
Ngôi nhà di động quá đẹp

I luv your rig 😅

Not bad. But no whirlpool 😎
Definitely need 40 acres to turn that rig around
En donde son estas exspociciones de estos camiones yo vivo en Los Ángeles California me pueden decir si aquí no ai exspociciones
Working 4 the cartel only. No warehouse 😂😂
that's a big fridge to keep your big mac's in. I would of settled for a decent single fridge/freezer and then used the space for an eye level oven/grill etc🍔🍟🍔🍔🍟🍔
What kind of weight would this be with a big load? Is there any scale in the country that could handle that kind of load. 500k or more

Алекс Брежнев, вот бы тебе такой! Это нормальное явление? Я считаю, что вполне нормальное!
В город на таком с прицепом уже не заедешь
The table needs a niche cut out in the corner. Makes it easier to seat
Would this still be legal pulling a 53 footer?
Best
Excelente, con mis aguinaldos lo compro, jajaj
This truck probably weighs something like 30 000 pounds. I heard stock daycab vnl's are around 23 000. Bit too heavy for its own good if you ask me.
The weight of this truck is 25,060 lbs. Hope it helps.
Nlook how much does this cost. A stimulus check ✔️✔️✔️✔️🎉🎉🎉

And how you expect to make a delivery to the warehouse.
This is a like motor couch..
Minch'e' quaddu 'e boe cun pira camusina ! 🍷🍷😂
I need to see it with a 53 or sum cuz ain’t no way 😂
I know that some cannot pull that with regular loads like electronics and heavy items. I saw a truck like this pick up a 53-footer but it was packed with tiny items that weigh very little.
PS: I wonder what the difference in yearly fuel costs for this is vs a regular Volvo 700 series...
@@largol33t1I saw one pulling flatbeds but those aren’t 53s I don’t think. He said that’s all he pulls.
Wow, almost the size of the 2025 Ford F150.
not much left for the trailer
It's beautiful but not meant for driving in the city. Tight turns would be a challenge for a seasoned driver
Where do the batteries go?
There’s obviously no maximum length regulations of truck and trailer like in Australia.
bellissimo e non poco mi piace
Nah... bigger fridge!!!
tem que levar 10 seguranças !
Guauuuuuuu😍
❤❤❤
Just $8.000.000.000
👍👍👍💪💪💪
Funny looking class A motor home……
Is that considered a tiny house with wheels 🤔
Need user reviews from lot lizards
Fun trip anywhere in the north east lmao NY Boston RI CT NJ
👍
Better be able to live in it, need to sell your house to buy it. Can you even pull a 53' van trailer with this wheelbase?
Probably yes since FedEx Custom Critical run these with 53 foot reefers all the time
a 53" is too long. can they haul 48 or pups
Сауна с бассейном в этом авто есть?
So it sleeps 2 people?
Preterano
At this point just make it a camper, it's pointless hauling cargo with such a long cab, you'll encounter so many tight spots
Who can afford these things. I am obviously doing something completely wrong.
❤
Yeah, it's very nice, I'll give you that. But, for about $500k, I mean, the above average Joe and his Owner Operator fantasy couldn't afford this rig.
$350,000.
Ну и почём, сколько стоит эта Машина???
You would be overweight before you even hook up your trailer
الو سلام ❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
really, what is the point?
Some people just gotta have everything including the kitchen sink and a full wet bath...
I would like to have one of those,
500+K right?
😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Nice but impossible in the real world
I've lived in smaller apartments...
5th Wheel is an optional extra…
What's the Price point on that Bad Boy?
Around $400K
Truck is an equipment with it own dedicated fuel truck at 3 miles per gallons all that weight plus a 42k load…!go broke just to keep it running!!!
These are getting around 7-7.5 MPG.
How much does it cost??
Around $400K
I'm not impressed with the layout. Seems like bed would be annoying as well. Depends on what the latches are made of. 🤷♀️ I LOVE the Kenworth Super truck 2 concept though. Lol

Not to mention all that extra weight will cost another mile per gallon. Add that up over 3-4 years and that's a lot of money wasted on fuel.
