I don't really grill but this was easy to carry and bring with me camping as a backup in case ruclips.net/user/postUgkxTAV04Wwc8vZvciP7ycqR1S4raCS0TnUc I couldn't get a fire going. In my opinion it is better to bring a charcoal grill instead of a gas grill as a backup because if it rains or the leaves around are still damp from a recent rain; you can use the charcoal to help your fire keep going even though a gas grill is easier to temp control with. Overall, pleased with my purchase.
Your ingenuity knows no boundaries and watching you build things inspires others to use their imagination to create useful things.
Wow!! Great build! I love the simplicity, and effective use! Salutations from Texas!!
First run: CHECK. Excellent re-work: Double CHECK. SMUDO at 2:05!! CHECK! CHECK! CHECK! Nice project! Thanks for sharing!
It is so cool that you're doing these collaboration things. This new workshop community thing is awesome, you get all kinds of maker skills together. Everyone can do their own thing and you can learn from each other, learn new things, or have someone else make a pouch for the barbecue you made. It's great!
Start the producktion now...... super concept to save our nature from garbage.... I want one ;o)
Smudo jumping about makes me happy.
And yet another Laura Kampf video leaves me smiling!
I thank you for the video, and the planet thanks you for caring!
So simple and pretty - minimalistic!!!
That is such a neat little portable grill! And Ellen's pouch is perfect! The ideal combination!
That food all looks so tasty! The egg flip was particularly satisfying. Awesome summer project, thanks Laura (and Ellen)!
Now it just needs a heat-sensitive diode to indicate when it's the right temp enough to cook steak.
Great Video as always . Your videos are always so straight forward no yack, yack yack .
Great collab. Cool little griddle.
Super Idee. Besonders der Trick mit dem Biegen und den Muttern als Gelenke. Danke, da habe ich wieder viel mitnehmen können. Ein tolles Projekt für Schweißübungen.
Danke fürs Zeigen
Gruß Sascha
Similar to some I made years ago. I welded 4 pieces of round bar on the top edges to stop sausages rolling off. Leave the corners open to drain the oil and fat and use round bar to make simple handles horizontally from the ends. Another one I made from an old plow disc, welded 3 nuts underneath like a milking stool. 3 pieces of threaded bar for the legs and it worked.
I love the beauty of a simple, efficient construction. Well done Laura!!!
Wow you are amazing. I don’t know how I didn’t come across your channel before. I instantly subscribed thank you. You do great work. I’m sitting here binge watching your videos😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃🤪
The simplicity of this concept is fucking awesome!
Really liking your new videos, Laura. It's great to see more of your design process and what you learn with each design iteration!
Thanks! That is great feedback. I am happy I get to show more of the process
Love the grill and the collaboration made my heart sing.
The simplicity makes it perfect. Both the grill and the bag latch. Thanks for showing the iterations Laura.
Laura, that is the coolest portable Griddle ever!
Thank you Laura for thinking about our planet.
And, Ellen for the great carrying case.
You two work very well together.
Must be nice having your own personal seamstress on hand ☺️
Nice job folks! 😎
What a great piece of kit. Simple and compact. And then a awesome carry bag for it. Thank you for sharing this video.
Nice and smart foldig system !
If you take sawdust and wax from old used up candles even old crayons any wax really and combine them you have pretty much free water proof firestarters.
Bravo! So simple & elegant & so much better than the disposable ones. Thanks for sharing!
Looks like Smudo is very happy with new place . Nice hot plate . Thank you Laura !
Excellent! I've spent all day at the beach and this would have been just perfect. Thanks Laura & Happy Sunday :)
Very cool hotplate grill! Love the grill bag, neat idea! Thanks for sharing. 😎👍👍🍺🍺
What a useful little grill! So simple but functions beautifully.
Another great idea from Laura, and Ellen's bag makes it a pro product!
What a great build for anyone new to metal work.
This is incredible! My friends and I love to camp, something like this would be amazing!
Great project and video! Thanks for sharing.
Interesting concept...but may I make a suggestion. Cutting out some kind of slots in that steel plate so that the juices can drip into the fire, and the smoke can penetrate whatever you are cooking.
This was so satisfying to watch. Love it!
That pouch is the best part! I guess you’ll have to clean the griddle before you put it back in the pouch each time, so you don’t get the inside of the pouch dirty.
I love that mind set “I could do better”.
Measure once, cut twice. I see Mr Savage's build style has rubbed off on you. LOL Thanks for another great and inspiring video.
Awesome job Laura! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
Sehr praktisch und dazu auch noch stylisch 👍 Danke für das Video Laura 😍
Cool project great build nice to see the proto type to
Great video and project.
Thanks for sharing.
Laura, it's great because it is practical and manageable, and the case, you can load it or put it anywhere since it is small, or has few dimensions, I buy it for you, already, nice video
Brilliant design!
How cool is that! It’s all about use what you got. Same in my world. -Eric
Great song choice!
Simple yet effective. I like it.
Great idea I now have my weekend project
Pretty quick prototyping from a pile of scraps. Nice job!
Run some weld beads over part of it for a grill side. Grill & Griddle combo.
Guter Tip! Und vllt noch einen Rand aus Stahlband (ca. 10 -15mm) anschweißen, damit das Fett nicht ins Feuer tropft und verbrennt ;)
At 5:22, I was thinking it just needs a pouch....
Yay Ellen !!
nice project, looks great.
such a cool idea !! I‘d def buy one !
Fantastic job
So beautiful, so simple and so usefull ! One more time a nice project ! Love your work ! I would like to have ideas as you have !
Looks good, I would hammer up or have the edges pressed up for a little edge to keep things from sliding off.
Great simple effective design.
excellent, efficient, and economical!!! The three E grill!
your leg solution is simple yet elegent. I like it!!
very nice and usable
03:10 a blow to the heart, I know that kind of drawers, I lived together until my marriage: my father had a print shop, right under his house, that made me a game room for all my youth! Now he has sold everything, but in my lab they would be convenient!
Great job. I love the simple things in life. They do the job with no fuss. And the Damascus blade in action ... yeah :)
wooo this is great!!! ... greetings from Ecuador
Thankfully I had already eaten before watching. Looks very cool and quite useful. I'm heading over for the pouch video. Whooooooooo.
Awesome!
Great new video Laura! And Ellen as well! Love the collaboration! :)
Aaaand also, cool Hoodie + an nice technique for restricting the legs from folding out too far... nice and simple - as well as really stirdy! 👌🏼
Hello dear Laura, I was just on your homepage and have this Portable Grill. Not seen in your online store, what I want to tell you is this Portable Grill is something for your online shop because it is absolutely awesome and, above all, really very sustainable. So off in the union because I would like to buy it in your online store as it was at the end, your seamstress has also made a great job for the grill as I think.!!
Awesome 👏 project for summertime !
You can also use cotton de-makeup for fire starter or tampax which is the best !
So einfach und doch genial. Gleich mal ab in die Werkstatt. Danke
Love your work as always. But every time I see you weld with skin exposed to the arc, I wonder whether anyone ever told you about how much UV and IR is generated by the weld-arc?
SimParadox Skin cancer incoming. A known fact.
@@tomahoks It's definitely a serious blast but she's not welding all day everyday for 8 hours. She's doing occasional welding on her projects. She should cover up just like you should cover up when you go outside (sunscreen). It's about cumulative exposure increasing the odds of cancer not simply exposure = cancer
Greetings from Venezuela, I love your channel ... it's excellent
Very simple!!
Good !! 👍😃👍
Fantastic!
Great job love it
I am so hungry right now...
The camping grill looks great; and those steaks look AMAZING!
Nice work 🔥
Love your grill concept!!! Looks like you have a new show in the works, "Grilling with Laura!" Cheers!!!
So nice !
Like to see a shop tour of the new shop.
Super Cool!
Neat 👍 and the bag as well :D nice to see that you care about Sustainability ❤️
"Let's take this baby for a ride!" lol
So Cool Laura luv ya work

You two are a strong duo :)
I'm great hungry how. It's nice to see both you and ellen on the videos. Great team
Love the BBQ and need to make it - need to find my Ellen for the rest (I have a friend who wants to learn how to sew so this is perfect)
Nice video on the iterative process. Nice surprise ending. Makes for a good story. Mahalo for sharing! : )
Really cool !!!
That’s pretty awesome
Is this pouch made out of GDR ein-Strich-kein-Strich camouflage fabric? The grill is sooo simple. Cool idea.
Awesome idea!! We love camping builds! We just made a portable table and will definitely try our hand at a grill!
One thing though.. we need to talk about your use of PPE! Safety first! 😅
I'd never really seen or heard of one time use BBQs before I went overseas. As an Aussie, it's such a weird idea. But then, we have public BBQs in almost any park.
Tolle Werkstatt! 😎👍👍👍
Cool!
I really like this project. Less is more!
you're killing me that looks great!
