I’m not certain that this is why, but in case anyone is wondering why he filled it up with water first, I think it’s to displace any remaining flammable gases before he starts cutting it.
It is also believed that older bottles may have a residue that even after washing out with plain water is left, this residue is released when subject to the heat of a cutting torch- so it is a good idea to use to HOT soapy water.
Дмитрий Снижко instead of a hole in the middle, make a small half moon on the edge to lift it out from there and keep the middle for cutting your meats. 👍👍👍
As the grill grid and the cutting board is supported on 3points you just have to push on one side and the whole thing pivots on 2points and you can easily grab the board.
That is stunning. Everything you need beautifully crafted and ingeniously stored. What a wonderful piece of kit to chuck in the car and take with you wherever you go. Wish I had your knowhow and skills to make things like this.
Just came across this video a while back and just watched it again, i make BBQs and fire pits from gas bottles also mini stoves for campers and fishermen. And can honestly say that is one of the best i have ever seen yet, excellent job my friend.

Absolutely superb! I’m always welding scrap together- I’ve just finished a gas bottle patio stove for my friends. You have some great ideas and a nice touch. Even the music was cool 😎
My dad had something like that when I was a kid in the early 60s, he called it a habachi. Think I will make one now that you reminded me of it. And that tank has got to be lighter than the cast iron dad's habachi was made from.

Hello my friend. This is a great idea. I watched with curiosity. congratulations. Unless you try the innovations, you cannot learn anything new. And you are always trying to teach innovations. And you always produce innovative works and ideas. Thank you for sharing. See you. greetings.
Nice. I have a small water heater I want to make into a grill. I don't have all your tools but I think I could do a decent job. Thanks for the inspiration.
First time i see you and this is so clever and love the design. I wish i could make myself one, but i love watching things being made. I must also add how relaxing it was to watch video the way you use your tools so skillfully and carecfully with nice music. I start watching some videos and have to stop the way some guys use their tools. Makes me so nervous. Wonderful creation.
THANKS for showing washing out the bottle before cutting - so many other makers don’t and it can be soooo dangerous! Great videos as always
Thanks Daniel!

NO
It's not a petroleum container so it's not required if you have already Removed the valve.

What a great job! I loved the little touches you used. Like the motorcycle chain hinge. Beautiful work! Your skills are amazing! Thanks for the video.
Thanks Frank!
Great job! Perhaps it’s worth making a hole for the finger in the cutting board to make it easier to get it out of the grill.
Thanks!
Actually I thought about some sort of a leash, but you idea seams more reasonable)
Дмитрий Снижко instead of a hole in the middle, make a small half moon on the edge to lift it out from there and keep the middle for cutting your meats. 👍👍👍
@@MARKLINMAN1 Nobody talks about a hole in the middle. A hole on the edge would be perfect.
