I like the nut and bolt hinge too!!! I make stuff like this and never thought of this, it is compact and has a tighter tolerance than standard type hinges~~~ Brilliant!
the piece of the fire extinguisher left over looks like the perfect size to make a charcoal chimney! charcoal chimneys are perfect for starting charcoal fast without any lighter fluid.
@@FrankGraffagnino Thanks! On such a small bbq you could make the chimney just fit over the whole thing which is probably what you had in mind. That seems like it would work really well.
Your craftsmanship has never been in question - just awesome - but the creativity always makes me smile! My daughter and I love your videos. Nice for her to see talented women. Thanks for that.
Awesome work. It’s great seeing women doing this sort of work. I have 2 daughters and I love being able to show them that they can do whatever they want and not have to do “women only” jobs.
I teach small engine and wood shop. The girls that come in my class always say " I can't do that ". So I stop and pull up your (LK) videos and show them. I tell them yes you can. They are so amazed at what you do so they give it a try. So much fun!
Laura great project as always, when you sprayed the bbq red i thought to myself i wish you had done it yellow as with the lid down it just looks like the head of a Lego person!!! As always Laura 💯%... 👍 🇬🇧.
Have you heard of a charcoal chimney? Its a tool that lets you get charcoal hot before putting it into a grill. (It also helps avoid the need for stinky lighter fluid.) The remaining piece of the extinguisher housing would be perfect for making one.
You cease to amaze me!! You must hold an engineering degree in functionality with a minor in cool design!! I gotta make one of these, might drill some air intakes so I can close the lid, though. And might tack on some skewers to the other side of the grill grate to cook things standing up, flip it over for a flat grill. INSPIRATION!!! Keep up the good work!
I love it !!!! Dir einen schönen Sonntag. LG Rocco
Hi Laura, I looked around your shop as you were cutting that fire extinguisher up, I hope you had a full one as well in case of stray sparks as I did not see one. Great idea.
Loved that ingenious design for a hinge and for a catch. The fire extinguisher was much better than using the Coleman Propane tank which is about the same size as your finished product. The extinguisher is heavier metal. Great job.
I didn't have a fire extinguisher. But i did have a 2 gallon compressor tank So step (1 )clean and prep tank Step( 2) start Laura's video and fo my best to imitate her 😁😁😁 Great Video as always thanks so much for the Idea works great for a 2 person dinner no waste of charcoal 👍👍👍
Laura, I just want to let you know your a highly polished gem. One day I'm going to make one of your creations!!! Keep those videos coming💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🖖🏼🖖🏼🖖🏼🖖🏼.
Nice work. Ironic, fire inside a fire extinguisher. The extinguisher handle would have also made a cool looking carry handle for this little guy. Great job
It needs a label, styled like instructions on how to use the fire extinguisher with "In case of fire: 1. Put food on grill. 2. Cook. 3 Enjoy."
"In case of fire, grill"
The nuts and bolt hinge is cool. Great video.
I like the nut and bolt hinge too!!! I make stuff like this and never thought of this, it is compact and has a tighter tolerance than standard type hinges~~~ Brilliant!
It needs a handle, like a mug, so you can hold and carry it, even when the lit is open and the grill is still hot.
The irony of building a BBQ from a fire extinguisher. 😁
the piece of the fire extinguisher left over looks like the perfect size to make a charcoal chimney! charcoal chimneys are perfect for starting charcoal fast without any lighter fluid.
Yes!!
Interesting what's a charcoal chimney and how do you make one? I also have no friends and am thinking of making a really small bbq.

Thanks to the beer-flu, nobody has friends anymore.
This is perfect!
Your craftsmanship has never been in question - just awesome - but the creativity always makes me smile! My daughter and I love your videos. Nice for her to see talented women. Thanks for that.
Such a cute little grill! Nice contrast to all the oversized, quadruple burner monstrosities that seems to be in fashion...
Spraying red paint in front of a white wall - no risk, no fun
You'r right 😂
I was looking the white wall.
Nice recycling of old fire extinguisher . Thank you Laura !

I'm just surprised Laura hasn't combined her two big obsessions. A bicycle-mounted barbecue for eating on the go?
I wanna see this ! haha!
oh!! yes. and you can stationary pedal to power a blower that gets coals hotter for that deep delicious searing action
Just wait. She will.
Barbebike!
Just search for BikeBQ in RUclips there's at least one video of someone I know that did this
Is there anything you can not do? Bravo!
Again a super nice project. Please stay healthy and keep on bringing sunshine into our corona world! 😎
Amazing and great job Laura!! And great music too!!! Buen provecho!!!!🙌🏼😃😃
Gracias muy buena idea. From Puerto Rico🇵🇷
I love your videos. Every video, I'm amazed at how simple your solutions for problems can be. Nothing fancy, just works. I love it.

Fire extinguisher holding fire :) so much fun!
This tiny grill pleases me so much. ❤️
Love it. The shape of a fire extinguisher is quite pleasing. Who knew? lol
Hi Laura, I looked around your shop as you were cutting that fire extinguisher up, I hope you had a full one as well in case of stray sparks as I did not see one. Great idea.
I like this build, simple and effective. Thanks Laura you gave me an idea for a simple lock
OMG girl .
I made one like that last week . They work awesome .
Awesome, love the little lid-lock and the huge handle. Stylish
Your tiny grill turned out so good!
Love the lock for the lid , mega !!
Fun little project! Literally. 😁 My favorite part of this one is the spring latch. Simple and effective. Thanks for sharing!
I am a former homebuilder and new, enthusiastic designer of things. Love your channel. Newly subscribed.
Your project is awesome, as usual. But also, a big shutout to the music, that is always on point and so, so enjoyable!
Absolutely killing it! Love the hinge and lock mechanisms! Keep it up friend!
Excellent, I will be building mine shortly. A true one man BBQ.
That’s brilliant, I love it when things get repurposed like this 👍
Schöne Idee, niedlicher Grill. Danke für das Video
Yes! Jalapeno beef sausage from Winco is soooo good. Even better grilled or smoked.
Oh wow - so cool, and it could work as a smoker too. Right I’m off to find a small fire extinguisher. 🤔
I've just commented the same about a smoker. 👍
Laura, Your thumb bandaid is just like mine. Nice job on this project.
Thanks for sharing.

So sweet 😍 that’s the handbag style of the year: a pocket grill 😂
Beautiful tiny BBQ ! Good job ! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌷
Yes! The “one-burger-bbq”! Awesome build as always. 😎🤘🏼
Das ist wohl der geilste Grill ever!
❤️
This is all I will be able to think of when I see a fire extinguisher from now on! Another great build thank you Laura 🔥

What a wonderful idea! Thanks!

Are usually burn the barbecue grill at high temperature to get rid of paint and whatnot and then paint it. Just to be sure it is safe to cook with.
Gracias. Tomo algunas de sus ideas. Saludos dese Guatemala.
Great idea with the hinge.
On a larger BBQ, you can just put in a metal ring 5 or 6 inches high to contain a smaller amount of briquettes.
This is more fun, though.
Thank you for sharing, you are a genius! Love it!
Excellent again! With a clever base this could be a table top BBQ.
thats a really cool design
Damn Laura that’s a awesome little grill! I’m going to use this idea.

Thanks for the video Laura.
Good work yet again .
Looks perfect to take with you on a bike
That's an amazing little girl it would be an amazing light weight grill perfect for camping
thats looks great for camping , thanks a lot Lau
This is a great idea for camping.
Neat job! Cheers, Laura- thanks for sharing and Happy Sunday (& stay well!) :)
awesome camp stove. Well done.
very good idea for lonely nights during Corona Virus pandemy
You can also make a charcoal chimney starter from the cutted middle piece
What a fun build! Seeing a new video always puts a smile on my face.
Nice build Laura. 👍
Very creative Laura! good job!👌
You are very pretty, and talented !!! I love your videos soo much
So friggin’ cool! Another excellent creation.
Neat little grill! I like it.
Thank you and with love ❤️ , Laura
Awesome project! Not only useful, but pretty also 👍
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome idea. I’m going to have to try and make one. I end up with extra fire extinguishers as they expire in my building where I work.
Smudo: "Look Ma! I'm helping... I'll make some kindling" 🐕👍
Nice work. Ironic, fire inside a fire extinguisher. The extinguisher handle would have also made a cool looking carry handle for this little guy. Great job
BRILLIANT
Wonderful idea.... super intelligent!!
That is the type of art I can relate to.
That's awesome! I love everything about this project!
