Every single song on their album was badass too! Anyone else wanna see a Lorna Shore, Slaughter to Prevail and Crown Magnetar tour?
I really wanna see jack make more hollow prophet stuff
The "core-chestra"
The moment when Jack just says "Mate" is a complete acknowledgement that despite him being around Alex Terrible all the time, that those vocals are something else. I love it.
I was commuting to town, and when I saw this moment I just giggled like a girl in the middle of the bus hahahah
That mate is directed to nick kid lol not the vocals
@@TheRealJoesphRobinetteBidenJr as a reaction to the vocals they were listening...
@@TheRealJoesphRobinetteBidenJr yes like above stated… it was basically saying “what the fuck?” In a amazed manner
@@trillnix3043 he was saying mate to nik...
Lorna Shore is literally making me like a genre of metal I never thought I'd ever enjoy
Me too 😭😂
I literally just recorded a cover of To The Hellfire after spending nearly all my teens swearing up and down I’d never like this kind of music. Will and Alex Terrible are my biggest inspirations as a vocalist now 😂
@@jacobmayer8916 same here. Shadow of intent has an amazing vocalist too. Ben Duerr is awesome. If you haven't heard malediction do yourself a favor and give it an ear.
Same them and STP just really got me back into it too.
Lmaoo it’s the same for me. I told myself the heaviest i would go is rock then I discovered metal and now here I am listening to Death Core on the daily, Lorna Shore specifically
This band hits me differently than any other band. Congrats to Lorna Shore on an amazing EP. Can’t wait for more.
They on another level!

This EP made me a huge fan.
Same here
EP weak, 2 past album epic
"Shiiit, that's a guitarist?" Is EXACTLY the perfect response too that solo lol. It's so incredible!
an epic solo followed by the most brutal breakdown ... lorna shore took nick and jack into a trip xD
Lorna is the first deathcore band I ever got into, and I’m forever grateful for it. Never thought I’d get into this genre, but every song is literally a masterpiece. I’m a Lorna fan for life now.
Honestly same. I remember the first time I heard To The Hellfire I thought "oh, I don't really like this". Then three days later it finally grew on me. Absolute banger of an album
Lorna shore and slaughter to prevail were way to heavy for me a while ago but 1984 by slaughter to prevail got me into death core got me into it cause it wasn't as heavy
It's been a year now since I've heard Lorna Shore for the first time with the Pain Remains trilogy. The raw emotion and skill on just those songs made it an instant banger for me. Now i can't listen to it without crying, but hey thats what you get for making such good music.
Lorna did in 3 songs what a ton of bands can't do in a whole album, phenomenal stuff.
“Mate imma be honest I’m pretty baked right now”
Lorna shore is slowly becoming my favorite band. I don't like death core that much but holy shit is Lorna shore good
Lorna hasn't been deathcore since godmaker
@@weebsarecringe2102 what is it then rn?
@@gabziu3161 blackened/tech deathcore. Thats a whole different level than it being pure deathcore with slam and breakdowns.
@@weebsarecringe2102 at the Beginning they was something like metalcore.
@@blackangel9613 lmfao. No
I hope will ramos and alex terrible can make a song together with the theme about the struggle for the throne of the king of darkness
Sounds dope, id be down to hear
And ben duerr came …
@@kearikiibelard2349 that just had a funny meaning to me
Like a guitar duet/battle
only with insane screams and growls.
I mean, Jack & Austin Archie are in Hollow Prophet, so there can easily be a connection to have a track featuring them both!
Fuck what a track that'd be.. Duerr, Terrible & Ramos... the world would explode
I listened to this on Spotify and just got goosebumps everywhere
It's a masterpiece!
'Phrost
Can we all appreciate how great of a talent Lorna needs to be to go viral in 2021, with a 3 song EP???
I would pay 10k to see them performing this live with an orchestra.....
It’d be more than that
"Alex Terrible and Will Ramos are fighting for a spot in hell" --dishhsoap
YOU ABSOLUTE LEGEND THAT JUST ABOUT SUMS IT UP
After listening to Of The Abyss, I said to myself that it's my new favorite song from them. It has EVERYTHING I want in a song!!
1. Into the Hellfire
2. Of the Abyss
3. Title track
Dope stream, sad I couldn't watch all of it.
If you take away the track numbers, it makes a nice poem. Love everything about this EP. Can't wait for a full length. Will be throwing money at them.
"Into the Hellfire"
@@Sparks2490 To The Hellfire
@@Sparks2490 I'm imagining to the hellfire and into the earth combined and like.... holy shit
Lorna Shorechestra
Honestly "Of the Abyss" is my favorite track from the EP as well. That breakdown was absolutely filthy. Will's vocals perfectly in sync with the instrumental during his delivery of the "pray to imitation...GODS!" line was disgusting. The solo was the best one Adam had put down on the EP as well.
Yesss, that line gets me so happy every time I hear the song
same that line might be my fav from the whole EP
I saw lorna shore live last week and they played the entire ep along with other stuff from immortal and they were absolutely phenomenal. Their live sound was even better than the studio version.
Lorna should do a track with Alex and Slaughter should do a track with Will.
I feel like thatd end the world? Lmfao. Too much brutal. Itd implode
@@samantharobinson3108 that would be the song name😂😂😂😂😂
I feel they should do something with Dickie Allen
"Tarack"
@@Sparks2490 wow supreme typo. i stand by what i said tho.
I can't get over this 3 song EP. They made me feel what most struggle to do with a full album. They lyrics and atmosphere of each song is perfectly correlated between each songs title and theme. So much I could say in a review of my own. This EP is 10/10 for me
Jack seemed alittle bit more happier in the beginning of this video he even smiled 😁
Tbh - I watched this just to hear you say that it's the best if the three, because I agree.
To the Hellfire - nastiest vocals.
To the Abyss - allround best song with best breakdown.
And I Return... makes me want to fly dragons when WW3 starts.
When have top-notch bands ever been so approachable? So great that Jack joined you for this!
Lorna Shore and Slaughter collaboration when?
Please don't open a black hole!
'Phrost
That inverts hell and earth._
Btw for those who don't know, Will was the previous vocalist of Euclid, Monument Of A Memory and A Wake In Providence just to mention some bands
Wait Jack is Bri ish? I wrongfully assumed every member of STP was Russian. My bad!
Yeah he's been around before STP, you should check out his work in Acrania and Jonestown Mourning
And Hollow Prophet, can’t wait for new material from them.
@@RANCE6 There's a band called Jonestown Mourning...? I shouldn't be laughing this hard. I'm here for it.
@@JustinCarberry Yeah mate, it had CJ from Lorna on vocals too, the two tracks they released were sick, unfortunately they didn't release any more music.
Yea they guy who wrote "agony" was a black dude from Cali he couldn't travel with the band tho
I've never in my life heard a more beautiful sounding song. This is INSANE. Goosebumps for days the whole time. Just fucking incredible.
This was my favorite of the three.
same here man!
Everytime i hear that breakdown it give me goosebumps.
Please i need feat with Alex Terrible
Lol @ Jack saying he's baked 🤘🔥
They are resurrecting symphonic elements, but to a higher quality. The choirs and symphonic elements are perfectly blended into the background and not overtaking the main band. They also use more subtleties for delicate parts. Excellent production and mixing!
Don't mind me, just combing through random Lorna Shore reactions getting pumped up to see Lorna Shore in a couple weeks and happily found this Twitch clip with you awesome and talented gents (love Slaughter to Prevail and Nik is one of the best personalities in our community). This reaction was fkn phenomenal. You, the pros, having such profound amazement and respect for them is so cool. Amazing dual reaction!!!
His reaction to the breakdown🤣 same as mine
Lorna Shore and Darko are on another level right now.
Mental Cruelty is my honorable mention as well.
SOI?
@@dschlopes4321 I like reclaimer better than melancholy. Fight me
@@dschlopes4321 SOI is not really comparable. I mean, they are mainly straight death metal now
And with this EP they've raised the bar for all others.
I like how there was little to no warning for the breakdown. Like in To The Hellfire they made it known that it was coming. This just kinda hit you in the face!
It came out one week ago and I cant stop listening to this absolute beauty of a banger. Lorna´s album is gonna be too good to comprehend, I seriously cant wait for more
Evil and beautiful at the same time... how? Absolutely incredible EP.
Had this plating on my drive from work. When that post guitar solo breakdown hit , I had the biggest fucking smile on my face. Lorna really is coming with everything they've got and it's amazing. So glad I heard Hellfire on the local college radio when it first dropped and now have a new favorite deathcore band.
this may be my favorite song off the ep. that breakdown makes my eyes roll back lmao
First time I heard the breakdown for To The Hellfire I cried… I actually cried
i remember my younger brother showing the band to me for the first time with the Godmaker track and i was like "bro i'm not into this deathcore type shit but i love this band alot" and then there they are, imo one of the most epic metal band to ever exist in our generation
1 year on and that breakdown still gives me goosebumps like it's my first time hearing it
A song with Lorna Shore feat Slaughter to Prevail... Alex and WIll together... OMG!!!!
so a lorna shore and slaughter to prevail tour anyone?
I was never into music this hard, then STP showed up and I was like, ok, ok, I can dig it. Then this Lorna Shore masterpiece with Will, I cant listen to anything else, its not brutal enough anymore (without going full death or black metal, I can appreciate tho)
I thought as I get older I would mellow out with the heaviness, and that is just simply not true.
Yeh man, I'm 32 now and I thought the same.. I've learned that Metal is ear heroin lol. We just need more and more extreme shit. However, I'll still put on some slow jams or Blues when it's time hahaa
@@SkunkLard oh hell yeah, ill go form Deathcore to Nirvana or Pearl Jam on the same playlist lol
This is Dark Souls boss fight music
Exactly what I was thinking I could totally picture fighting gundyer or some shit to this song 😂
I literally relied on this EP to beat Artorias the other day lmao
So the guitarist Andrew O'Conner actually responded to this same comment that I made on Facebook and he confirmed that they were inspired by Dark Souls and Bloodborne when they first started writing Of the Abyss!
@@zetabrew1825 SICK
@@Hollowism dude, right?! I'm gonna go play through DS1 again now lol
That stream was awesome!!
Hopefully the first of many special guests!

Lorna Shore need to preform this work of art with a orchestra for sure. They also need to do so with a complete choir! 💯💯FACTS!
i think i just shed a tear
this song is incredible! lorna shore never seizes to amaze me
I would pay to see a Slaughter to Prevail and Lorna Shore tour.
This has such an epic end of the world feel! I fucking love it!
The musicianship in this band is like watch Bach at 8 years older creating some of the best symphonies in history. A different level
Cradle of Filth and Dimmu borgir and Tristania were doing this 20 years ago yo
I think everyone had the same thought "Where tf did Will even come from?" You see him, and then hear him and go wffff??? He just materialized lmao
we need this again asap !!!!!
This is the best song I've heard in the last 10 years of my life. Period.
The sky is the limit for this band can’t wait to see what they do next
as it turns out, all that needed to happen for me to (exclusively will ramos for some reason) fall in love with Lorna Shore... was to listen to the songs a couple times... crazy to think that 20 years ago, I would have laughed at the thought of me liking something like this
Best Lorna Shore has sounded since Tom left, fucking stocked for their future!!
This is more on the Melodeath/black metal side than the other two tracks. I really like it. It's fun. Love the EP.
Also, that solo is just so fucking good. So is the creepy orchestra
hands down one of the sickest breakdowns this year
Lorna is at the top of their game right now its crazy
The beginning of the song reminded me of Dimmu Borgir. Awesome song with all the different changes. And that melody is beautiful too.
Yessssss I was waiting for this one! Absolutely loved this track
Seeing this live is going to be 100% new levels of violence.
As a guitarist I felt when Jack said “that’s the guitarist?” When the solo started 😂
You could see that guitar solo just hurt a little bit. Awesome reaction
STP And Lorna Shore are both in their own respective categories. Both so unbelievably brutal.
I love their lord of the rings core! God i wish theyd play with an orchestra and choir live. Could you imagine!
Fucking christ, most of that song had Cradle Of Filth vibe to it. Like "mid" Cradle..Idk what else to call it. But like, the middle of their careers, like after the early early stuff, but before the slightly newer stuff. Like maybe the early 2000s Cradle. Man, it's so fucking good!
Like around "Cruelty And The Beast," maybe. Yeah, I hear a lot of CoF in there, too.
@@dragonjku Actually yes. About there, to around the "Nymphétamine" album. MOSTLY "Midian" and "Damnation And A Day" stuff.
Midian vibe is what I got too, and that's not an insult at all. Weirdly genre bending, I'm obsessed with this ep!
This is my favorite off this EP after a few listens and listening to it very carefully. From the melodies and orchestra to how Will sounds throughout the song, it's really fucking cool. I fucking love it.
I take it to be a great honor to be in a Nick Nocturnal video lol, seeing the reaction in real time and being part of the livestream was awesome
1. AIRTN
2. Of the Abyss
3. To the Hellfire
The title track was the worst for me. Of the Abyss slaps hard tho.
When Smeagol went Deathmetal
SOOOOOOOOOO amazing!
i love how they both just make the stank face immediately when the drums come in 😂
Jack i f****** love you and Slaughter to Prevail
I think personally for me this song hits even heavier than into the hellfire
Yes
Is heavy metal played at a slower tempo with shorter notes? I am new to all of this lol and it's amazing.
I just want a Jack SImmons & Adam DeMicco song and my life would be complete
Kostolom should be metal album of the year IMO!!
This has to be one of their best songs
Slaughter to prevail and Lorna shore needs to tour together
The last EP of Lorna Shore is really epic
Abyss is amazing. Great reaction guys
0:57 Yeah the dude's message on the left sounded like an oldschool Linkin Park fan. Earned Respect!!
Shit vocal right there
Lovin' it
“PRAY TO IMITATION GODS!”that part always gets me probably one of the nastiest breakdowns of the decade
Built different
Not a big fan of death core but idk what it is with ...and I return to nothingness but I absolutely love it
XD dude in the chat said gullomcore! I'm fuckin dead. Best genre name ever
I dont think that Jack Simmons shows his real excitement in this video. Because he is in other band called "Slaughter to Prevail" but he is overwhelmed by good feelings and vibes from this song ! I BELIEVE IT !!!
I'm not sure how Will Ramos is capable to make noises like this, but I absolutely love his brutal and demonic voice. I have been listening this song nonstop after hearing it first time. What a fucking band.
Lorna shore fuckin awesome Jack my man you are a fuckin legend 🙌 👏 ❤ nik also fuckin legend for throwing this all together 🤘🤘🤘
The first time I heard that breakdown I was walking to school and I had to stop and comprehend wtf just happened. According to someone who was walking towards me when it happened I looked like i had just seen a ghost except i was frozen in time right in the middle of my reaction 😭
I love this track! It hits like a freight train!
"heavy asf Dimmu Borgir" was probably the best description of this song I've heard so far 😂
Interviewer: So Will how do warm yourself up for such brutal vocals?
Will Ramos: I gargle broken shards of glass….
Interviewer: 😧😧😧😧
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
