The singer here is goofy as hell. In the positive way. But honestly, that's something that quite a few extreme metal bands have in common. Goofy ass nice guys who make the most intense heavy stuff.

I've followed Will Ramos (the vocalist) since he was doing covers on RUclips and posting them on his FB. I'm so proud to see how far he's come.
A all i know is Will's voice is damn near unholy
Those smeagol vocals are unmodulated (probably the wrong word, they're definitely EQ'd a bit, but I mean that it's a sound he can actually make) in the end there, similar to Dickie Allen in Infant Annihilator. Glad to see you reacting to some deathcore though, I love it! Lorna Shore's a sick band, regardless of how you feel about the deathcore vibe. Another one that does stuff like this is Shadow of Intent, hard not to see the musicianship in it, even if it's not doing it for you personally.
Dickie talked about how he does it on a video covering Blasphemiem with Kardavox Academy, I think he calls them gravel vocals and he pinches his nose closed and pushes out a scream to make it sound so gross and nasally, he words it much better than I can.

Those vocals at the end of the track are unmodulated. That’s tunnel throat vocals, which have to be some of the toughest vocals to ever pull off due to tongue position and projection required. Love to see you guys react to this, such a fantastic track.

yeah kinda confused here, because the mix honestly didn't sound great to me on the first few listens. vocals seemed buried the whole time. it's intentional in the beginning obviously, but even later on they sound buried too.

That reaction was mine when my son first played me this song, I couldn't believe what I was hearing/seeing. Not my type of music at all but found myself watching a reaction to this song. I have a new found respect for the art of these guys.
It's interesting what you say about the mix. I watched Niks reaction and he said it was "interesting." Personally I think the vocals shouldve been slightly louder but maybe thats just me being a vocalist
The mixed stuff sounded cool and fantastic to me. But that's just my opinion tho

When I first heard this song I was absolutely blown away. Wills vocals are amazing and compliment this band very nice. The breakdown is definitely one of the heaviest breakdowns I've heard in a long time.

I've never even really been into this type of music but this is as close to orchestral classical music as we have. It's a masterpiece. I start every single day at work listening to this song and maybe 5 or 6 more times throughout the day. It's just so fucking visceral. It speaks to me and I can't get enough of it. I wish I could listen to it again for the first time.
You guys should check out Will Ramos (lorna shore lead singer) one take vocal play through of this same song. Its incredible 😁 he can do it all, in one take. All the switching and everything. Its awesome

honestly the mixing alone may have been holding black metal back for years cause i hate that shit. cradle of filth and all that, like i've heard it but always just felt off. but this. the more i listen to it the more i like it. it is just good...... everything has been given room to breath while still hitting like a mac truck going head on with a freight train.

I believe Dickie said the way he makes that noise is by plugging his nose and then forcing air out of his nose while screaming. His nose is plugged so the air can't go anywhere and causes that sound. I butchered that description but if you want the actual one check out the Kardovox Academy video with him
