I am very disappointed with these snakes. I purchased a monthly subscription of $23.00 and came up with a domain name. Then they showed me another screen asking for more money to secure the "domain as mine". That was very dishonest and unethical thing to do to someone without any prior notice or disclosure. I feel a bit deceived.

that's with any service. You have to pay for a yearly domain name (whether through Wix, GoDaddy, Squarespace, Google etc) and you have to pay for monthly hosting.
