Ultherapy, also known as Mini Hifu or High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound is one of the latest FDA-approved ways to tighten facial skin, lift the brows and target loose skin around the jawline and eyes. Using micro-focused ultrasound to heat the SMAS layer, it stimulates collagen production while providing contraction, tightening, and lifting lax skin. While there are small initial results, it takes 2 - 3 months for the real results to start coming in.
Home ultherapy and Mini Hifu instructions are hard to find. The ones that come with the at-home hifu machine make very little sense. There are two ways to perform an Ultherapy treatment - static and moving. In this home HIFU machine review, I use the static placement on one half of my face and demonstrate the mini hifu tutorial followed by the ultherapy before and after.
This Hifu device has a power of 5J per CM2 covering an area of 4CM2 at a time. With a frequency of 3mhz, it has a penetration depth of 4.5mm on level 3, 3mm on level two, and 1.5mm on level one. The ultherapy home device can be used once a week until you reach the results you are after - then switch over to once every 3 months.

I also have this same device y your video is the most clear and informative that I found on RUclips to use it. I love it! I also have the two Foreo Bears but you have to use them everyday to be a little effective, and they only treat de muscles below the skin, but not the skin itself. The mini Hifu is pretty impressive, though, using it only once a month. My results are not as impressive as yours (probably because I'm younger and my skin, apart from some fine lines in the forehead and some looseness on the jawline is still pretty fine and tight), but with only one session you have visible results especially tightening the skin around the jawline and the cheeks, which is definitively my biggest issue, for now. It also helps with the forehead lines so I'm really grateful of having finded your video. Thanks a lot!

Hi TJ!! Thank you for all your videos I just ran across yours today actually! Ive watched so many of these micro needling plasma pens, Fybro blasting ect. But, this one is new to me! I have not seen a video on this yet so thank you! But, I would really like to see a person that actually needs this done, I know we are our own worst critics aren't we! Hi Mitzi. I will take those compliments. If you see my videos from 12 months ago to today, you will see how I've transformed. I had very deep crows feet, forehead wrinkles and facial sagging. I don't have Botox and fillers and I've gone beyond my thirties. I still have quite a way to go, but maybe look at some of my original videos and you'll see how well these all work. 😊

I had this done professionally and she did a pass over at 4.5mm.. then another pass at 3mm. HIFU works and it has certainty made a difference in this video and will continue to do so over the next few weeks. 👍

I find that using them to a set schedule and not too often at a high frequency helps minimise the fat loss risk. I've been using them for well over a year now and no issues at all :)

TJ I'm truly enjoying your videos so far. I was inspired watching your RF Frequency Tightening before and after so I immediately ordered my machine an hour ago but now I just this Ulta vid. Darn! so, really in your opinion, which one is more effective, less time with longer results? I can still cancel the RF.
I would say the RF is a better treatment if you want to see more dramatic results :)

Is there a best way to combine using IR and Ultrasound for collagen repair? Do these act differently, or are they similar? Do these reach different depths? Should these be done at the same time and let the skin repair itself at one time... or should these be alternated (and how much apart?)

Hi there - thank you so much for your videos .. without them I'd be totally lost! You look amazing, I wish I'd started all this stuff sooner!
I have 2 questions here if you don't mind:
Firstly, I might have missed this in your vids.. what is better - using the HIFU in sweep method where you glide over each area 3 times, or using the stationary "shot" in one place? I'm assuming the sweep is a little less concentrated? So does it change the frequency you'd use them .. in other-words can you treat more often with the glide method? My HIFU (same device but re-boxed with English instructions) says to use 3 times a week! It doesn't show any other instructions though! Thank goodness for you!
Second question .. what is the make of the RF machine you rave about .. wondering if I can find it in South Africa.

Thank you Zakia :) I am using it once a week above the brow and under the chin/jawline and once every 8 weeks for the full face until I am more familiar with it. It's quite a new one, so I don't want to set back my progress before I have trialled it properly for a few months :)
That’s an amazing result on your upper eye lid. I almost bought the RF machine but now I’m reconsidering.. I just think once I buy a device they’ll be another device that’s better.. um I secretly hope not for now
Hey Logan. The technology is getting so good right now. I'm constantly looking at newer models, but many seem to be the same thing in flashy packaging. Both HiFu and RF are amazing and work so well. The great thing about the devices now is that they give you solid foundations for learning how to use them, how your skin responds and to work out a tailored plan unique to your needs without being so strong that things become irreversible. 😊

No worries ☺️ yep. The device is generic and branded by different companies. It's the same with most products nowadays.
TJTutorials you’re literally the only RUclipsr who’s consistently using the devices you’re reviewing and also I appreciate you do the review after using them for quite some time so that we can see the results. Not a lot of youtubers out there doing updates after a few months of usage. They will do a video the first day or the week,..month sometimes. So it makes me think the products they’re trying to promote don’t actually work. I know it’s time consuming so I really appreciate your efforts and subscribed. Also decided to go for the radio frequency machine from your link. Just one last question about it, You’ve had it for a while? Has it ever malfunctioned or broken ? The hifu mini is too new for me to take a risk on my skin. I’m scared 😝 and afraid it will also break after a few months. Thanks so much!
