contraception is honestly so subjective and this is definitely something which needs to be talked about more! I had the copper coil but had so many issues with unbelievably heavy periods, one of the arms being stuck in my womb when I tried to remove and then finding out I had developed PID! definitely something I didn't realise I was getting myself into as it just seemed so much better than taking hormones
