    Sir, what is the the meaning of biggest size float on surface and discharge regarding 4th chamber ?

      It means Big Size Oil Particles that is floating on the surface of oily water in 4th Chamber.

      And sir what is the meaning of manifold valve to ows, as you already open pump discharge valve , so what is this manifold valve to ows ? @@MoeMyintShein_MMU

      Good Question, Mishra.
      Bilge water comes out from Bilge pump because you had opened pump discharge valve.
      Now, Bilge water reaches to manifold.
      From manifold, bilge water can flow to many places. If you wish to flow to OWS, open valve to OWS and close other valves.
      If you wish to transfer to Primary Bilge Tank (optional), open concerned valve and close others.
      If you wish to transfer bilge water to bilge holding tank, opens valve to BHT and close others.
      Hope you will understand in brief.

    Hi.Fresh Water valve must be kept open on Monitor 7:41 during pumping out bilge?

      Sure.
      Purpose of this fresh water is -
      1. To wash down stains on sensor. And also, to calibrate sensor with fresh water, after 15ppm alarm activates due to high oil content.
      There is 3-ways valve located before measuring cell (here you say monitor). One from sample line that is NO. Another one is from fresh water line that is NC. And the last one is directed to measuring cell.
      When oil content is higher than 15ppm, sample line is closed and fresh water line is opened to sensor for above purposes.

    Sir (1) at 4:41 , when you opened fresh water valve, then this FW is going to photocell and then draining to ows or it is also going to automatic 3 way valve ? (2) Do this FW valve continue to be in open condition when ows is running ?

      @@MoeMyintShein_MMU So sir, it means that whenever ppm>15, tyen solenoid valve will shift towards fw sample valve line and my Oily bilge water will not come for 60 seconds. FW will come for 60 second for flushing and after that 60 second flushing, again solenoid valve will shift to oil bilge water sample valve !!
      Is it sir, am I correct or some corrections please ? 🙏

    At which air pressure the pneumatic 3way v/v operates located on the final discharge side? Is it 7 bar?

    Sir i have a doubt. I believe"ll be cleared once you read these questions.
    Why freshwater valve to o.w.s is given?
    Why sample drain valve should be in closed position? Btw Where is it draining sample water? Is it in B.H.T or B.S.O.T?

      There is 3-ways valve located before measuring cell. One from sample line that is NO. Another one is from fresh water line that is NC. And the last one is to measuring cell. When oil content is higher than 15ppm, sample line is closed and fresh water line is opened to sensor for above purposes.
      2. Measuring cell has 3 ports. Sample Inlet, Sample Outlet and Drain. Sample inlet located at the bottom of sensor, just above the drain valve. Sample outlet is at the top of measuring cell.
      If drain valve is opened during operation, sample water can’t pass measuring cell and all sample will be drained through drain pipe.
      3. Sample water from outlet of measuring cell drains to tray of OWS. From there, goes to BHT. Manual drains from 2nd, 3rd and 4th stages leads to BSOT. And also, auto drain from 1st stage goes to BSOT.

    Thz Sir for your detail demonstratio.It's my first time seeing 4 stages OWS. All of the ships I work are all fitted Two Stages. First stage gravity separation with heating assit and then Coalescer filter to OB. I am looking forward to your next content.
