Strike industries Dual folding stock, it wobbles!

- The dual folding stock and arm brace is another example of how innovative Strike Industries is. But, it does have a little bit of a wobble. So does this effect the performance of the firearm at all?
After installing the rubber bumpers and tightening the screw that connects the frame to the folder, mine has 0 wobble to either side or up and down
Lucky! Mine still has a little wobble.
@combatreadychannel mine also might feel a little different being on a cz scorpion vs being on a full size rifle
Strike Industries hands down! It looks so much better and it can fold to both sides
It definitely gives the rifle a unique look.
With those bumper inserts it looks like it has similar movement to the sig stock. I like the look of the Strike Industries stock more so I’m ok with the “wobbling “
Yeah it really doesn’t seem to be much of a difference. The Strike definitely looks better though.
I put my in a CZ Scorpion Evo. Doesn’t wobble at all and works perfectly!
This hinge system is superior to all others in practical use and design. It's not without the caveat of needing the pads. But I have others (jmac etc) and overall use. The strike is simply better at the actual task of folding. Mine is 100% solid. Move up in pad thickness until it's completely solid. Philosophy of use, obviously plays a role. If it's on an "in and out" gun. The strike wins against almost anything. On something you "might" fold. JMac.
And it’s still cheaper then the JMac!

Much. I like J, even before jmac, and his products are good. But whoever came up with that hinge at Strike, knocked it out of the park. Shit's genius.
So when you were firing with the SIG stock adapter were you just using it as is? Or did you change it in way that allowed it to fold to both sides like that of the Strike Industries?
The sig stock is not able to fold to both sides like the SI stock.
I have a Midwest industries folding buffer tube and it moves at the same spot, great info now i will try the same thing or order a sig folder !
Which stock do you have? I have used any of their stocks but they looked solid.

Is the Strike Industries dual folding stock compatible with the Smith & Wesson M&P15 .223 7.5'?
No, the M&P15 requires the standard AR15 buffer tube assembly with the spring and buffer. The folding stock only works with firearms that have an internal buffer and spring assembly.
Is it made out of poly or aluminum?
The folding adapter and stock extension are aluminum but the cheek riser and butt pad are polymer.
I currently have a sig folder/telescopic stock, thinking of upgrading to this but the wobble has me wondering something:
If you are just holding the gun and give it a shake(with spacers in) how much rattle/noise does the strike produce over the sig?
As well; the strike LOOKS amazing, but there are definitely alot more snag points than the sig(that riser looks especially targeted and fragile)
So if SHTF, would you prefer the sig or the strike??
Also my reasoning for wanting to swap to the strike is because i am looking at a sidemount optic plate which will hinder the single left side fold of the sig
So im looking at the trade off of a more sleek/solid option, OR the wobbly/(possibly)fragile/functional-folder option
Thanks for any heads up!
It doesn’t really make any noise when it wobbles, it more of just being able to see it move.
the strike does have more weak points that could break easier then the sig. I’m not sure how much abuse they could take before it breaks but the sig definitely feels more solid and robust.
I haven’t had the strike get snagged on anything but I could see that happening. You could just go without the cheek riser or cut off the snag points since it is just polymer if it’s a big concern.
The ability to fold it to any side is the only benefit over the sig but with the sig you can adjust the stock length. The strike does look better IMO. As for now I prefer the look and feel of the Strike industries and plan on keeping it on this rifle.
Is this compatible with the CZ Scorpion 3+? Also, is this ATF compliant (when the legal battle is over)?
As long as it has or can have a 1913 rail on the back of the firearm gram then it’s compatible. It would be legal once the ATF gets pushed back in court.
what rifle do you have it on?
That is a custom built AR with the diamondback lower receiver and the foxtrot Mike-15.
Is this with the Aric bolt? If not, how are you running with no buffer?
Nevermind, just realized the foxtrot has a proprietary bolt that allows it to run like that. Cool gun
Mine doesn’t wobble at all. The SB tactical brace like this sucked bad! I couldn’t deploy it quickly. About 20% of the time it just wouldn’t deploy at all. This is. You easier and has zero movement.
Maybe mine is a lemon 🤷 still doesn’t bother me so no big deal.
@@combatreadychannel it happens! Did you use the rubber pads it comes with?😀
@@TheCaptnHammerI did use the rubber pads. It helped a little but didn’t get rid of it.
It’s a pistol brace why are u guys calling it a stock
Because this is literally the STOCK version. They have both pistol blade and rifle stock models.
The single fold is rock solid. Steel hinges and smaller/shorter LOP. I love it.
@@dominiquebrown2890 yes, i have it on my single fold and it really is a nice setup.
Don't care it looks sick I want I want
😂I agree.
