@Katastrophic40741 Yeah but it doesn't spin on the cool setting so that is what I meant by a waste :) You can't use it.
Just a thought, when you mention the cool air doesn't do anything, actually what hairdresser do is when they use a lot of heat on hair, what the cooling does is it SETS the hair at the shape and texture it is when the heat was applied. Think of it this way: If you curl your hair with a curling iron, it takes heat to apply that shape to the curl, if it's still hot when you let it go, it may wilt if you do not apply cool air to set it.
You NEED the COLD SHOT setting!! When the hair is rolled up in the brush to the root using a hot setting, keep the brush in the hair and switch to the COLD setting for about 15 seconds. Switch OFF before you unroll the brush. This method gives a smoother finish, gives more body, and holds the style.
@bwitty0114 Yeah but it doesn't spin so you can't use it to seal the cuticle that's what I meant by being pointless!
The cool button is to seal the cuticle, just wanted to let you know :) That's also what the cool button is for on blow dryers.
just brought my from boots i suffer with arthrites and find it very hard to do my hair this is big life saver for mei cant keep going haveing my hair blowed dryed his is fantastic love it
@elliottsterling yeah but it doesn't rotate on the cold setting I would use it if it did because obviously it would make a huge difference to the hair.
@iammicahdiaz Out of all the things that I have tried the biggest difference is heat defence, allow the hair to have a day off and dry it naturally and SOYA milk, soya milk is awesome my hair has really grown and its much healthier now.
@theanimallover0013 No the brush is soft and smooth.
@beanysweets I use a volume shampoo by Tressume Try the John Frieda sprays :)
@acarord Argos :) Yeah I love it!
A cool setting sets hair. Once the tool has heated up the section its working on use the cool setting and when the hair cools it stays in the positioning. Which if you think about it makes perfect sense, we heat it up to make it move the way we want it to, then cool it to make it stay in place.
@dblyrt2597 I think it would help yeah to cut down on the work so you might just get a little bit of a difference and if it doesn't work just sell it on Ebay :)
@Rockey51O Awesome! That is so cool! Always nice to hear stuff like that!
Oh my god sinead I went out and it and oh my god it's brill , was a bit sceptical at first saying il never be able to use it , it's just like a hair dryer , nah , but then I seem it in boots and was saying if I don't like it I can always bring it back maybe , so I tried it and oh my god i have salon hair without going the hairdressers , have been looking for one of these for years , something like a hair dryer that I can use ! My hair looked and felt so healthy !
@sunlightwomen I think it would help.
i've always been curious about these, but never thought to look for demos on you tube for some strange reason. glad i'm a subscriber! thanks for a great demo and all the helpful tips and info. ;D
@OxanaVs No this one doesn't really do that.
@96theweirdone I did this the day before I dyed it. :)
You mentioned that there was a cooling setting and you looked puzzled with it...At the end you mentioned not touching your bangs & waiting for them to cool... That is where that cooling switch comes in handy.;o)
Your hair does look really nice.. For some reason, I always end up buying most of the products you review lol but I can tell u that I definitely trust your opinion... I'm off to buy the babyliss brush now! :-) thank you for the video
the cool setting is to set the curls on cool. just to keep the curls long lasting. just like when we do curls with curling iron and we pin them up to keep the cool and once they are cool they stay longer.
@obnoxiousxleprechaun Soya milk try it! and omega 3 6 9 oils :)
the cool setting is just for after you finish styling it to make it keep shape longer
This is the best "big hair" review I have ever watched and btw you are very pretty :)
So, you put the heat defence first and then the volume products, or backwards?? *LOVE* your channel, Sinead!! You're the sweetest :)
Thank u so much fir introducing this to us ! U feel are an honest guru. And u Sud be proud if urself !
@beverly90210beverly Aw that is so kind :) Thank you!

Your hair looks lovely. Thank you for showing us how to use that tool! :-)
@carla1803 That is so sweet!! :) Let me know how you like it :)
I'm thinking of buying one of these and I'd really like to know a few things:
Does it work well with shoulder-length hair? And how good is it for straightening?
@Rockey51O Aw thank you :)
Try smaller sections.
Thanks for the tutorial! I *just* got this tool and I can't wait to try it. Your hair looks great, very bouncy and voluminous! Oh, BTW: You look just like Carey Mulligan. Keep posting your vids :D
LOVE IT, i have one of those and didnt know how to use it propertly.. soo thank you for your help..
@minjia89 Thanks :)
Man, your hair is so healthy and shiney. I'm jealous. :(
@candygurlQT I muted it a bit :)
That air brush looks amazing, where did you bought it? great video btw
Cold air is meant to set your curl it really helps so no need for it to spin. Just an fyi :)
I want this!!!!
i love your hair what exactly is the name of that styling brush please ?
Very cool!
I have the same type of air brush only by Rowenta and it pulls my hair out :( The brush is always covered with my hair swirled around it. Did you have that problem?
hey if u use the Babyliss "Big Hair'' for your bangs dry it the opp way than you want them and just before they cool down pull them to the side you want them and i promise they will stay.
do you think this would work well with curly hair? I use a flat iron iron and that makes my hair very flat straight.
that is what the cold setting is for, once you find the style that you like as you said at the end of your video you use the cold setting to set it. they don't put a cold setting on for no reason,
hi, i was wondering if it is as quiet as it seems in ur video or did u mute it? I am sensitive to noises and have been watching YT to find a quiet hot heat brush. PLEASE let me know. Thanks!
Hi! Wich type of Babyliss rotating brush are you using? Is it the AS130E or 2735E?Because I want to buy one , I have been watching all these tutorials on youtube but I don't know if there is much difference between the items.
awwww hun what would you do if you had hair like mine... :(
No prob !!!
hi! May i ask: is this the 50mm barrel or the 42mm? I'm worried that the 50mm is too big. I have fine hair, at my shoulders with layers.
u r awesome!! i realy dont know how i didnt find this product earlyer!
do u know where i can buy this?(i am not from us
do you think it might work for long thick curly hair? i am not sure wether to purchase it or not...
do it works for curly frizzy hair too ??? dont believe .
Love it I have the US version... fantastic
I did what you said and my hair always gets tangled what do I do?
If you have very long hair (I do) tigerlilybee on youtube gives a demo for those that use it for long hair
Ohhhhh I should dedicate you a monument!!!! Love this video and you are so pretty and sweet!! x
@claire2shae9696 Thanks :)
can it straighten my super curly hair ?? please answer
is this the last color u used " pure medium brown -sublime mousse" ?or did u die u hair after that
I heard that when you try to curl your hair the bristles bend and break!!!!
Do you still use this? did it break? how is it holding up?
What part of ireland are u from im from ireland tooo!! :D
my only issue is that I can never dry my roots completely when using a rotating brush and as a result my hair gets all puffy and awful :S it actually takes a me a while to completely dry the roots of my hair with this kind of brushes.
thats like the new version of a blow dryer
try, ROWENTA CF 9220 Brush Activ 1000
fabulous video :)
What Shampoo and Condtioner do u use? :-)
What is the model of this brush?
Please any one knows where to buy the babybliss one we can use in USA I read that it came with UK cords that we cannot plugged in our country
