I was there last summer, saw some big tiger sharks and several others near shore.. also I had a huge barracuda swim about 10 feet away from me
I hate those piers that are so high off the surface.

What an awesome day at the pier. When I was at PCB in July there were bull reds schooling around the pier. Of course the one night we didn't fish was when the came in super thick and fishermen where hooking up like crazy. They were hitting live pinfish. That's funny, I lose 20 ladyfish for every one I get too. What a great video. I love it when nature gives gifts like that for capturing with the camera.

Those tourists are a trip lol We were pier fishing in St Augustine a few weeks ago and a 7’ Tiger came right up on some surfers. They definitely had the right reaction, getting out of the water. They shouldn’t have been surfing so close to a fishing pier anyway, and when they saw that it was a Tiger, they skedaddled.
Wow! Im pretty sure it was that same gar that swam by me, late in the day Tuesday between the pier and portofino when I was surf fishing. He came right up to me and freaked me out. That's wild

I live in pensocola and at this point seeing a shark isnt a big deal but those tourist come out here and freak out if they see a dolphin

Me, planning to move at least an hour or two away from Pensocola beach and enjoy the view on weekends at least, by next year and I would really appreciate if you can direct me to correct source in finding a piece of land I am willing to pay cash. @@kumara5492 well if you really want to enjoy your stay out here check out more than pensocola beach like Johnson's beach that's were the locals go also stay away from crabs the restaurant it's a tourist trap a lot of people like to go there because it's on the beach but all the food they sell is not fresh it's usually days old and frozen

@@kumara5492 that I'm not very sure about the thing is when I don't have much money so I don't really do much that cost money I would do some research on it if you want me to
I like swimming in that same area by the pier where that shark was - in the hopes that I will get to see a shark haha. I don't make enough trips to the beach to see one though. And if one has been close enough to me I never got to see it, but I keep my head on a swivel when I'm swimming and I always swim with a buddy.

I am planning to buy a piece of land paying cash, ideally one or two hours away from Pensacola beach so I can at least spend most of my weekends on the beach and would really appreciate if you can direct me to the correct source and avoid real estate agents.Thank you from South East Texas.
Grew up in Puerto Rico and Miami spending tons of time swimming in the ocean and also in lakes with gators ....swimming with sharks or gators is WAY safer than trying to pet a stranger's dog (~40 deaths and five million bites requiring medical attention each year). If people were what sharks and gators wanted to eat....wouldn't it make sense to use a mannequin as bait instead of chicken for gators and fish for sharks?? Although it would be hilarious to see at Bass Pro Shops a mannequin bait!!!! You want real danger......drive on the highway!!!!!!!!!! 37,000 deaths each year from highway accidents. Shark attacks in 2017 in US.....53, zero deaths. Less than 5% of those were beach goers....SHARKS PREFER SURFERS. Gators got two people in 2018 so far, none in 2017 and three in 2016. Worrying about your drive to and from the beach should be your focus.
