Back in 84, when I was in southern California. I pier fished off of ocean piers. Its was fun. Never caught much, but I learned a lot, and I still have most of the gear I bought. I'd love to get down your way and do some fishing. I still fish, when the weather is warmer and my favorite lake is not iced over. I use a 9 foot salmon/steelhead rod, and 10 to 15 pound test. Depending on what I'm fishing for. Stay safe and Tight Lines.
Awesome video! So I was wondering if you guys could maybe do an ultra light rod and reel challenge surf fishing.... I'd like to see if my 8 year old grandson could catch something with a small ultra light from the surf when we go on our vacation in June. I think you guys did something like this before, but I thought I'd just throw that idea out there.

the price for the course is really nice. i think its good for those getting into fishing and want an edge. Not everyone has time to go to the pier day in and day out to get the knowledge.

Love you guys. Can't wait til you open your store. I swore off Bass Pro Shop/Cabellas when on one of their commercials, they called me, their long time patron, a liar. "Welcome fishermen and other liars". Well I am no liar and no further customer of theirs. Who in their right mind insults their customers, even if in failed jest. I can't believe that went through the advertisers and editors and still was approved. I expect you to provide my fix, as in fishing gear of all sorts. I would advise other viewers to do the same. No use supporting a woke (but blind) business when we have better options.
kinda sensitive there, aren't ya? 😅 I don't do bass pro or Cabela's because I favor smaller, privately owned bait shops/fishing stores to keep my money away from big business...I get the majority of my high end gear/tackle online when needed.

This and Beach Bums fishing videos is cool. I have a friend (4KL Charters) that puts on a class for kids and it is a hit. Kids learn all kind of things. FWC and CCA come out talk to the kids and at the end they get like $300 worth of stuff. Sorry this long but we need more Bill Dance(Brant), Roland Martin(Beach Bum), and Jimmy Houston(Brad) in the world. Keep up the good work guys

If you don't really want to do something with just use the money from it as a fundraiser to repair the Gulf state park pier Honestly that I've always wanted to have a fundraiser to repair the thing I just don't have the platform to do it, Of course I've also wanted it to be repaired and extended another 200 yd As well

I hope you guys advertise better for the new bait store because I live 40 miles from tampa and I knew nothing about the store even though I religiously watch all three channels I know of. I want a follower of beach bum but I watch CMR and clickbaiters as well as angler up with Brant.
Must be nice , a lot of the good fishing piers near me get taken over early in the morning by dumb ass commercial fishermen that usually have 8 to 10 rods out , leaving no good room for anyone else !!!
