They could still join. My guess is they will get a few more before next event. Some were probably waiting to see how it goes and obviously it's going great. Great crowd yesterday in Portland players seem to love the format

@@ocashflo I am gonna side with the FTC attorneys on this one and say that the PGA Tour should have been prosecuted by the United States District Attorney in Federal Court for numerous anti-trust violations in the 1990s. What they are doing, now, to stifle competition is egregious in my opinion.

There are so many possibilities to make golf more interesting and attract a larger TV audience. Be great to see a night event somewhere like Dubai. Even a couple of short 18 hole best on the day style events for some players to qualify for the LIV events as it grows. One thing that bugs me with PGA is I don't have 4 days to watch golf every week. Majors should be 4 days otherwise shorten the format and make it more interesting.
Yea they got it rough don't they..must suck to travel around the world and carry a golf bag for a living. Just so you know every single caddy on the PGA tour makes great money! They each make a salary for the week and anything else is a % of money earned

The great majority of PGA golfers don't win at all in a season. Most consistently finish out of the top 10 each tournament. A caddy for the average PGA golfer makes very little money. The caddy must also cover all their own expenses which of course cuts into the very little money they do make.
@@simonbagel Every PGA tour caddy makes about 12-1500$ per week salary plus expenses unless on season salary or a top bag. Anything else is a percentage. 1st place 10-15% top 5 8-10% and on down the line. So if his player misses every single cut he still makes minimum 60grand a year plus expenses. I agree I think they should make more because I was a caddy for 10 years but I'm sick of people saying that just because their player misses the cut they make no money and pretty much have to stick out their thumb on the highway to get a ride to the next event. It's just not the case
People want to watch the best in the world play for a trophy that has meaning. I really could care less about watching Phil Mickelson get paid 100,000 a shot to shoot 80. The money doesn't interest me as a fan but to each is own🤷

What Ive seen so far if I had to compare it to something would be some of the baseball club leagues that try to entertain because the competition is good but just not the best! They even bring old players who made a name for themselves in the past as to drum up more interest. Of course they pay them more than the actual team members. Seems familiar!!!
I too feel bad for professional golfers on the pga tour. Just imagine the hardship of playing golf for a living. Stacking cash upon cash, walking endlessly around in beautiful places only to be mocked by the meritocratic tyranny where you are supposed to perform well and your worth depends on your abilities. Good grief it’s so unfair just think about it……millionaire’s playing with a stick for money but can’t be certain of earnings every week after 36 holes of golf while 327 million workers globally are paid for certainty at their countries' minimum wage for work 7 days a week 8 to 10 hours a day. Think about it - the average PGA Tour player earned about $1.5 million in 2021. The national average salary in the US in 2021 was $56,310. REVOLT you underpaid, underprivileged golfers REVOLT and join the Saudi regime by sport washing their horrendous deeds. Why not and in the process destroy the very foundation your sport is built on and ignore the fact that you wouldn’t have had any notable career’s or legacies without it……….all of this destruction because of an selfish urge to have even more things and bigger jet’s.
