Glad these Pontiac vids are here and done so over the top well. Now I don’t have to do this in my car. In fact I’ve never lit the tires on it except for the shifts. Wouldn’t have been this epic anyway. Nice build!
Wow I just bought a 71 Skylark with a 355 and Blueprint heads. This video is so inspiring for my build. 0:16 What’s your wheel spec in the first part of the video and what rims are those?
Guy is a savage. How did he get that into European country with all those laws against anything loud, gas guzzling. Car sounds and handles great. Spring for a roll cage.
I think your perception of what it's like to live in Europe is off. Most countries have "vintage" regs which usually means little more than if your vehicle can be proven to be older than a certain age (35 years where I live) then most of the regular rules don't apply. For example, my '71 Camaro never came from the factory with TrickFlow heads, long tube headers, Edelbrock intake, bigger carb, cut-outs, 18" rims, etc., but because it's still the original motor and gearbox (Muncie M20, btw) and is 52 years old, they don't give a shit. Where they get pissy is when you take newer (especially "type approved") vehicles and start fucking with them.
Actually theres a huge tradition for american muscle cars in norway and sweden since the 70s. Every weekend from spring to autumn is filled with muscle car events. In some small cities they even have weekly events where you can see hundreds of old school cars parading the streets. Everyone takes out their C5 corvette or old mustang. Tons of them everywhere in the countryside. They used to be pretty expensive cuz regulations in norway, but the last 5 years or so they removed horespower tax because electric cars have so much horsepower. Also some other regulations that were removed. So now you can buy yourself a decent musclecar for a normal price.
@@digitalviking5733 interesting, I seen a guy from Sweden on autopia LA that had quiet the American muscle collect, not short of a few euros if you know what I mean 😂
I love all of the stock GM steel Rally wheels! Too bad my Buick rims are very hard to find in 15 inch. Lots of 15" Pontiac rims out there . I ended up using 15" Corvette Rally wheels with rings and Hub inserts - I like them on my big 74 GS455.

At least he kept it US, NA, pushrod V8. For my terms that swap is quite reasonable for trackdays etc. You know what crazy swaps are out there? 😅 MX5 with LS or Supra with V10 😂
That thing is beautiful mate. Torque in 1st gear looks crazy! There's no replacement for displacement
Thanks mate!
There is no replacement for displacement, indeed.
That is some serious driving skill, managing that heavy beast around the course.
Bad to the Bone! Awesome ride.
Thx sir
I’ve enjoyed watching that car. You young men did a great job ! Runs great and lots of fun !
Yeah - that looks like a lot of fun! And that's a beautiful Pontiac!

What size tires and rims are you running? Sweet video, thanks for sharing !!
To me another "unknown" muscle car which I fell in love after watching this video. What is the song in the beginning please?
Glad to hear that! The song is a original song from my dads ccr-cover-band called "Dirtwaters". Sadley they arent on spotify yet but mayby some day

American made! They used to make them right.
Used to is the key phrase.almost anything that has a computer in it from the factory is garbage. Especially once it gets some age to it.

It really makes me cringe seeing these classics get insulted by putting these junk new motors in them.

I’ll take the 400 that was in it. 😉
