I just put my order in, I love watching how organized you are. I have 2 machines and never tried printing or cutting stickers. My daughter orders the PDF's because she is low income and I thought I could help her by using my silhouette but that never happened.

I would be using an excel spreadsheet to keep inventory. It will be much easier!
I would laminate your inventory page so you can just use erasable markers on it.

Great video. I am trying to set myself up too and I have Cameo V.3. Would you mind sharing what type of sticker paper you use, as well as the setting of the 'blade, speed, force and pass' on the cutting machine (to make it kiss-cut your sticker and at the same time, to cut all the way through for the whole sticker sheet)?

You need a white board for your inventory
If you have a laminator, that might also be an idea for the inventory tracker.
Also...instead of having to recount every sticker each time, why don't you just subtract the quantity you sold from your prior beginning balance. For the ones with the "~" mark, you can probably easily see if you still have enough or if you just need to count for an exact remaining quantity.
Another idea could be an excel spreadsheet that automatically updates with each order you enter. That could be good as you could track which stickers sell the best for you. Just an idea.
Or a spreadsheet. 🙂

I have the hp printer 7855 also and for some reason it doesn’t work with sticker paper. It always get jammed. Did you change the settings some how? If so, do you mind telling me how ???

How often do you check your PO box to make sure there are no lost mail situations?
I check daily! When I drop off orders I also check the PO Box to make sure there are no returned orders

Another great video. Will you be doing one on how it is you actually design & layout the stickers? What software program do you use...Silhouette Studio or something else? Just curious as this seems to be one of my biggest hurdles. ANY help you can share would be MUCH appreciated. You're kicking butt & doing great...keep up the great job!
JOANNA SHOEMAKER probably not in that much detail because then people could just copy her designs and make their own. From what it looks like she uses silhouette studio which is a free program you can design directly in. And once again I’ll direct you to inspired blush RUclips channel because she talks about how to get digital paper and how to put in your designs and dimensions and all of that.

I was just saying that I highly doubt she’ll fit a video on that because it makes it easy for people to copy. That’s all. I was trying to be helpful since you said that was one of your biggest hurdles was not knowing the program to use. Sorry if it came across a different way.

I am always hearing horror stories of returns and customers not liking what they have purchased have you seen much of that?
I haven’t! But I also mention on my Etsy shop that I don’t accept returns or exchanges. I make sure to include multiple photos in my listings as well as show the stickers on RUclips so most customers have a pretty good idea of what they’re getting.
Do you have to log into Etsy to see if you have orders or do they notify you?
I get a notification every time an order is placed

How much inventory should we have to be ready with before launching and opening of Etsy shop
Ahmed, that is really going to vary depending on how quickly you can get the inventory that you need to do an order. Honestly, I would start out with having just a few things in inventory and go ahead an open your shop. That way you can get a feel for how much traffic you are going to get and which items people are going to be buying. When I started out, I had 1 item that was REALLY popular and other items I didn't hardly sell at all. You never really know. Also, it takes a while to get good traffic to your shop. It can be a bit of a learning curve. Good luck! It's a lot of fun.

Congrats on the shop. Love your videos . I’m wondering what made u decide to open a shop. I am realizing that quite a few you tubers that i follow who does budget videos are also opening Etsy shops. Was this a request from your followers or this was the next step in your growth in your personal life. Also will you be offering more types of stickers. Will you be covering the design process .. again great video..
Thanks! Honestly I decided to open up my shop because I felt like there wasn’t a great selection of budget stickers out there that fit my budget style. Since starting, I’ve kind of fallen in love with making them and the whole process 😊

There are Etsy sticker shops that are full-on small businesses with employees...what if your shop blows up to that point? Would you ever give up accounting to focus on the shop?
