how about in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time (parking), experienced any loosing or falling off, and also while driving on bad roads, does it fall off. Lastly how many weight can it hold for bulky phones ?

I used it for i year and it will come out if car is parked in direct sunlight for a day. Still it is the best in class other products comes out more frequently.
I too realised that if it's in direct sunlight for long, it falls off. In my case, it fell off while I was driving in mountainous terrain which could be very dangerous.

Yes still its working.
If you will remove it and install it in another place (just do it more than 3 times) then suction will not work more days.
